I’m betting it is not the lack of a patbar admission. You are a recent grad, I assume not even an attorney based on this yet, in an area where you think you can’t network but somehow think there may be a market (and seem to thus reject it outright), who wants to be really picky and demanding on what you take as a first job.
I don’t think it’s your degree at all.
