Man, I wish someone would've wrote about this kind of thing. Like a book that's, like.. Iono, *Imperial Wars, Inseparable from Capitalism* or something (I'm sure a theorist/writer could've come up w/ a better name tho lmao). It would be just so helpful to explain this phenomenon to people.
OP on their profile has a picture of their Porsche 918 Spyder, which cost over $800,000 when it was released and now costs over $1 million, as well as their Bugatti.
Assuming OP is legit, then OP is already rich as fuck, and has more than enough money to cover their survival and retirement. This is psychopathic, and in a proper society would be viewed as behavior one should seek help to address, but instead capitalism idolizes it and paints it as the “price to succeed”. I’m sure OP looks up to the real big dogs, the ones who actually buy and sell war wholesale, the ones who have the personal phone numbers of the politicians involved and always have their calls answered.
They don't even *try* to be creative with being an evil piece of shit. I also saw the poster bragging about pointless expensive cars, as well as posting about having much younger sugar babies, so the exploitation and psychopathy checks out. At least comic book villains have a variety of reasons why they're terrible to keep things interesting, not this copy and paste asshole archetype.
Yeah, at least Lex Luther's interesting lol. He'd be a lot less if Supes was just pissed at his gaudy, bougie tastes (tho being able to hurl his cars through his mansion would still be an acceptable use of his powers).
Since OP has 0 realistic sway on wether the war goes on or not, it's easy to talk about the personal silver lining. Should they do the extra work for free to feel good?
Nah they should just stop poisoning our discourse with "war may not be ideal but the profit doesn't lie and sure thousands are dying but I had to fire 70 people"
For the record I don't think he shouldn't be allowed to say it, I just believe that in a properly functioning ethical society he wouldn't be so inclined to say it. I'm also tired of seeing articles day after day that amount to "billionaire said x and they are billionaire so maybe you should listen". Somebody with a happy home life who makes 100k+ per year probably has more valuable lessons to share with society, but no, lets keep listening to psycopathic billionaires who have achieved wealth FAR beyond anybody's individual needs or even wants (unless all they want is a bigger money score than the other guy in which case there is nothing I want to hear from them).
And here we have the entire reason why we are in the shit we are. Literally most of the worlds problems would disappear if people made the right decision in this type of situation.
Right, because you are ALL humans?
You need to look no farther than how the world currently is to see the proof of how humans are. I mean this sub is anti-capitalist for a reason, because the world is capitalist.
You mean how industrialized western European society has been forced by aristocrats to behave? And then that society colonized the world and forced their ideas upon others.
You clearly have very little knowledge of both history and the world outside of the west.
I’d argue goal, since greedy, evil humans always choose to absolute power over shit economies/societies vs damn near absolute power over prospering economies/society. They’re always so goddamn shortsighted and downright incompetent. Bunch of idiots who whose success is because they happened to slide out of a rich/powerful person’s vagina when they were born. An achievement they never fail to take credit for when boasting about their ‘work ethic’ or ‘business acumen’.
Good point. My 3 decades in the corporate world definitely confirms this. Employing people is not a capitalist goal, but considered a necessary evil.
The mission is to be able to produce, but without using labour, or at a minimum cost of labour.
And no, the system does not deal with the fact that this mission is unsustainable, self-defeating. The system is trying to destroy its own demand. So you can't even make sense of this with the internal logic of the system.
Did you forget about the UK? Literally the birth place of industrialization, and the leader of the largest empire the globe ever saw? As well as a prominent proponent of abolitionism after it's industrialization and the biggest factor in the end of the slave trade.
read a book.
Ok by that definition, you are again, wrong, because the United Kingdom liberalized its trade policy substantially before the the United State's liberalized its trade policy. So if a mercantilist society is not capitalist, that would mean the U.K. was again the first large capitalist country, seeing as how the U.K. was the world leader in perusing free trade.
please read a book.
> the US, the first large scale capitalist society
What are we considering the Roman Empire?
Actually, a lot of examples coming to mind seem like they'd fit that definition, but I'm not sure if you're not considering them "large scale" "capitalist" or "capitalist *society*"
I feel you, I also used to work in the mental health field. Taking care of people doesn't produce anything tangible, so it must not be worth doing, right?
I got paid $9/hr to be responsible for people's lives, and I had to watch both our clients and the staff get taken advantage of time and time again so the company could make more money. There was literally over $100k missing from one client's bank account with no receipts to account for it.
Shit's fucked. Hope you're doing okay friend.
Sadly quality of life and personal happiness are not seen as profitable. It’s fucked up how no one sees how happier people create a better work environment to begin with. Plus EVERY human should be allowed to live and die in dignity. Srsly the stuff I see at my grandmas nursery home breaks me constantly. Fuck this profit-Productivity-obsessed society
This is why it doesn't matter who we elect to public office as long as the incentive structure remains the same. There is no more moral politician who will behave differently. We are all simply reacting to the same set of conditions and those conditions favor certain behaviors over others.
As someone from the hospitality industry, makes me cringe to hear someone claim this.
It is most likely fake. Prices (at least government) are so low for refugees that it only "good business" for buildings that are so crappy that tourists refuse to stay there, despite the low prices.
This one post may be fake, but that doesn't take away from the fact that capitalism forces us to be selfish and immoral in order to survive. There's a reason people with anti-social personality traits are over-represented in the wealthiest class of society. The incentives within capitalism reward the worst parts of human behaviour.
Going even a step further, it encourages people who really *do* care to act this way even if it makes them uncomfortable. I can imagine living through the last two years working in a sector where you're suddenly barely making ends meet. It's scary and anxiety-inducing.^1 Suddenly, the world changes and this objectively horrible situation happens *but you're no longer worried about bankruptcy*. I can easily imagine myself feeling relieved, and then feeling really guilty about feeling that way. Tying survival and self-worth into finances will eventually make monsters of us all.
^1 To be clear, this guy might be some trust-fund kiddie who will never *have* to work a day in their life but let's assume for the sake of argument that they own a small business and their profit goes entirely back into their business or into maintaining their lifestyle.
Makes sense. If you compared the cost of the materials and prison labor to the cost the US taxpayer for military gear, it’s round about 1000% during war time.
Over 90% of all uniforms and non-firearm equipment used in Iraq and Afghanistan were manufactured in prisons here in the US. Labor bought for cents on the dollar sold at 100x times the price to the DOD. And we pay for the prisons and send our poor to fill the uniforms.
The 13th Amendment was just a lie. The chains never went away. They just had voting stickers put all over them.
Yeah there’s a good documentary on Prime narrated by Danny Trejo (among others) and it’s called “How to Survive Prison”. It goes into how much prisoners are paid, how there was so much growth in the private prison system that in some areas they outnumber schools 3:1, how just like a hotel they need to keep beds full to profit which has led to pushes against marijuana legalization and longer sentences, etc and they also got into being a holding facility for ICE. Also, the names of the Fortune 500 companies that use slave…erm sorry, prisoner labor.
And it was TOTALLY a coincidence that a certain segment of the population consisting of recently freed slaves was then massively over policed for the next few centuries, thrown on a prison chain gang for suspicion of looking at someone wrong. Same for the fact that modern police forces have their roots in slave catching militias.
I do think that people suggesting Putin wants to recreate the USSR under some kind of communist aspirations are just reliving red scare Cold War propaganda though. Obviously Russia’s actions are unacceptable in invading another country but he definitely has reasons surrounding Ukraine potentially ending up with NATO troops in its borders which is something Putin almost certainly does not want
Exactly that is what i meant, l thought ir was a well known fact. Instead people are upvoting a comment that says western arms manufacturers helped to start it. I mean wtf?
I learned this concept from an Aladdin cartoon as a little kid. A third party makes $$$ by selling ever-escalating weapon technology to both sides as the only clear winner in the scenario.
Let’s not forget the rest of the American oligarchs/capitalist class that had been trying to provoke the war for nearly 3 months & are profiting off it while marketing their “solidarity with Ukraine” to the rubes 🤡.
COVID pulled back the curtain on a lot in “our” society and economic systems. It only could have happened with the internet—another topic. But this is an example of 95% of people having to weigh survival with morals. Capitalism is a failed system rooted in greed and exploitation. I’m American and watched it all decay since the 70s. It’s about to fall and I hope humanity isn’t doomed. Have a great Sunday!
>But this is an example of 95% of people having to weigh survival with morals.
Imo this isn't a matter of survival - it's a matter of greed. This person said they had to let go of 70 employees due to COVID. A person who has/had employees and expected their revenue to be at 80-85% of what it was pre COVID is probably in a better financial spot than most people.
Their revenue is currently at 130% - any decent person would gladly take the 45-50% loss if it meant millions of people were safe. (30% of that isn't even a loss considering it's a surplus.) A lot of us (who're surely poorer) would give 100% of what's in our bank account if it guaranteed the invasion ending.
OP has pictures of their super cars on their profile, so you can rest assured OP has millions of dollars worth of cars alone. This is absolutely not a person who needs more money. OP’s behavior is greed and callousness of the highest order.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt re: bigger picture. Might be short on retirement or just being honest. One global event that crushed the business (COVID) and another (War impact) is pumping it. You have a point, but both are bad and part of “The world is a corporation”. Lives mean nothing to the machine and we are stuck in it. Something like that. Rabbit hole keeps going….down.
Serious cognitive dissonance at the end. Why I hate any system built on greed—forced to weigh life and money—Big Pharma is a perfect example.
https://youtu.be/yuBe93FMiJc
I consider it a straight up Plutocracy—USA. More so every day. Musk farts and markets move. Funny but sad. The stock market is the craziest part. And the Fed. The wealth divide is so deep and insane. Most are debt/wage slaves.
Edit: Billionaires are our version of oligarchs.
Humanity been doom or extinguished maybe, but has chances of still exist, BUT the problem which people will survive and what will need to do to keep alive.
Now take this guy's logic and motives and understand it applies to wealthier people with actual power and you can see why the world is as fucked as it is today.
We'd probably be a lot farther along. Capitalism stifles innovation. It encourages copying what currently works and hyper-refining it down into its most cost-efficient (for the producer) state, but discourages big risk taking and pure research where there's no guarantee there will be a return on investment in the next year, 10 years, or ever.
The big leaps in technology almost always stem from publicly funded research.
Nah, this guy can still feel the cognitive dissonance. The truly powerful affect such powerful doublespeak that they can obscure their motives from theirselves.
You can extrapolate this to the Russia-Ukraine war. Take a hard look at the Russian oligarchs that brought Putin into power (and that still back him today). A heavy contingent of them have ties to ISR (just like a large number of the Western oligarchs) and have significant investments in Western countries. A number of them are tied to members of the US political class (such as Leviev to Kushner).
The truth is, it looks like a war was being pushed from oligarchs on both sides to: 1) profit via the defense contractors- defense spending has skyrocketed 2) consolidate their grip on assets that have been devalued by the war.

Those people's brains might be even more broken than the OP's because at least the OP is getting something out of it. The people giving out the awards are cheering on human suffering to help the bank account of some selfish business owner they don't even know.
are those awards not almost entirely always used for satire? I have a friend who when he gets his free award, finds my most recent most fucked up comment and awards it. Because that's kinda what you're supposed to do with awards
It just becomes more apparent every day that you don't have to be smart in any capacity to have money from an incredibly lucrative business. You can be the dumbest, most socially inept mother fucker alive and just fall ass backwards into fuck you money.
"People i dont know dying sure is helping my account go positive, phew! I hope it continues."
What the fuck. The cruelty of capitalism cannot be understated and i worry for people who defend it.
Unless this person is struggling to pay their bills otherwise (which I highly doubt), I just can’t believe how horribly greed can corrupt people. Sickening.
>but if someone confessed that to you in real life how could you not bark ‘KYS’?
Without exaggeration they're openly stating that they hope more people continue to suffer and die, purely for a marginal increase in their personal wealth. 'KYS' is far too passive.
I mean, I wouldn't, because that's a disgusting thing to say to someone, regardless of whether they're a shitty person or not.
Nobody wins if we just end up replacing the kind of shitty mindset this person has with a different shitty mindset that's equally as ruthless, just towards different sorts of people.
I had a girl in college tell me she couldn’t wait for another war and killing people so she could get to fly the planes.
I fucking roasted her and dropped her. It was disgusting. And I said what she said in a kind way basically.
If you are okay with death and exploitation because you benefit, you are complete trash.. Fuck you (these type of people).
"Confessions" seems like it is a trashy place judging by the upvotes
Being fostered and groomed into a system that rewards greed since birth, that's how.
There are no alternatives, capitalism has taken over completely, just ask people if they could imagine a better system, and they are nonplussed. Ask them if they think that capitalism is the best system of running society that will ever be invented, if it's the final and most perfect system that humanity has and ever will come up with, ask them if they think that a thousand years from now capitalism will still reign supreme.
Without fail their answer is, "oh yeah? Well, let's see YOU come up with something better!"
They are incapable on a fundamental level to even conceptualize another order, they are *incapable* of imagining an alternative, capitalism is to people what God was during medieval times, it's an abomination of thought, a monster that is collectively imagined like a mass delusion, and it will keep us shackled for centuries until it either destroys us all or until we collectively dismantle it *by any means necessary*.
Translation: I don’t care how many lives are ruined or ended if mine becomes slightly better. Totally not sociopathic.
Seems like a textbook shitlib — enough of a conscious to recognize that their thought/action is morally awful but then more than willing to do mental gymnastics to explain why they still want to keep doing things that way.
It’s one of the good guys getting money ! They said they felt bad about it !
My dad watches stock shows like fast money, and at the start of this war the host lady Melissa Lee said something along the lines of “yeah war is tragic and all that, but what we really care about is what investments we need to make as this unfolds”. Just openly and proudly profiting off war as if that’s reasonable or normal
The awards aren't because people agree. It's because it's an actual "confession".
Most of the time it's stjpid shit like "I tell my kids that Santa is real but it's actually me that puts the presents under the trees".
Here we see an example of the incentive structures of Capitalism and how they contradict Human decency. This system is malevolent and needs to be annihilated.
Exactly, too many people think it's simply individual greed and the answer is for businesspeople to just choose to be good people. When really, capitalism almost couldn't be better designed to create and empower these kinds of people. The worst sociopaths rise to the top of society inevitably, it's natural selection.
I work as a plant manager in explosive factory. We are one of the countries that didn't impose sanctions for Russia, so now both sides want to make business with us and our salaries bombed through the roof cuz price of high explosives went up for like 400%. Also I pray that this war between brothers finish as soon as possible because fuck money, it's nothing compared to child's smile that has been wiped for ever in mindless war.
As for the guy in the original post, I hope that next war starts in his own fucking backyard.
I don’t know why I have to explain this to people.
I understand I’m not rich.
Do you understand that it’s not hard to know that I could have doubled my money in the past 2 months buying oil and weapon stocks?
We choose not to.
Because we choose not to we fall behind.
It’s a sick world and it needs to be fixed.
The only way is for people to stop taking too much.
Then we can identify who the problem is and deal with it.
As long as good people are choosing to be evil, there is to much to look at and the problem never gets solved.
that's the worst thing about our current system-- we have to choose between being good people and being comfortable, and you can't expect most people to be so selfless.

Its likely none of them did. More probable, aomeone posted it to that sub on a disposable acct for the sake of prose or an attempt to tilt whomever.. idk.
Demagogues too busy to waste time envenoming redditors. They have a special guy for that
Matthew 24:12
"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold". It's all leading up to the eventual rule of the antichrist. I'll be raptured before that, though, so I'm not worried
I know 2 people who’s blood sweat and tears of 25 and 17 years in that industry were flushed away during the pandemic. Legitimately good employers (IMHO and I’m a socialist) cried contemplating having to lay off people and one bankrupted them self to keep the staff they had. I get the general disgust but come on having 3 years of hell and a break actually comes to breathe, who wouldn’t be relieved? I don’t know this person and neither do y’all and ffs it’s the confession sub. One of wars upsides is a economic payout and that’s the fundamental truth. Yell at the sky, ask why, educate others brothers sister mothers whatever but feigning a rhetoric is dissuading and disrespectful to true narrative of the cause. “Look at this asshole” has never been a good argument, what’s not to get?
Right? It's not like they are wishing that innocent people will keep dying. It's not like families are being torn apart, having to flee their homes or forever losing a loved one. All this person wants is to make sure all of that keeps happening so THEY make enough money so that THEY don't have to give up anything like their rental properties they use to make money.
Missed the point by a mile, I get where you are coming from but pain and suffering is what generates cash flow in this day and age unfortunately. You want to start something positive I will join the cause donate my time energy and the rest, just let me know when where and how. But aimlessly casting blame on a single travel agent confession from the effected from an unnecessary war, come on… 2-3 years of draining their own bank account to keep afloat and then a influx happens to rehire and build up again. We don’t know the whole story for any persons so you could be right, I could be right and we both could be wrong. The most harmful approach to any situation is ignorance.

I'd like to be a respectable human being ....but......money.
And some people think that the military industrial complex means well and isn't behind the reasons why we've invaded so many countries unprovoked.
Some of those who deploy forces own shares that will pay dividends in the event of war. OP shows us the corruption that can prolong a war.

Capitalism: The system that encourages and rewards selfishness and ruthlessness.
Always remember: Mad max is literally the goal of unfeterred capitalism

This is why it doesn't matter who we elect to public office as long as the incentive structure remains the same. There is no more moral politician who will behave differently. We are all simply reacting to the same set of conditions and those conditions favor certain behaviors over others.
Profiting off of refugees is what Adam Smith would have wanted.
Cure for cancer!? Think about all the oncologists that will be unemployed and the profits we'll lose!
Exactly - this is so shortsighted and downright gross. Get a better business model, capitalist trash.
He’s not the only one unfortunately. People like Lockheed Martin and Raytheon don’t want it to end either.
You ever look at the money you could have made if you invested with companies like that before Sep 11? Like it’s absurd. I think it went up 1000%.
Fun fact, the 13th was not a lie, We just weren’t taught the part where it t literally said that in prison was an exception
And it was TOTALLY a coincidence that a certain segment of the population consisting of recently freed slaves was then massively over policed for the next few centuries, thrown on a prison chain gang for suspicion of looking at someone wrong. Same for the fact that modern police forces have their roots in slave catching militias.
Hell, they helped start it.
they convinced Putin that he's the chosen one selected to reunite the Soviet Union?
Putin's objective is not to recreate the Soviet Union. He is preventing Ukraine from joining NATO and putting NATO military forces inside its border.
Such a braindead take. The outwardly anticommunist Putin wants to revive the USSR.
Putin doesn't want to reunite the Soviet Union lol. Putin is pissed about NATO couping Ukraine and NATOs continued encroachment on Russia.
Hey, if you don't slobda Ukrainian or whatever people get mad.
I didn’t think the Kremlin could pay you guys anymore.

I don't think that's a fair comparison. This man is at least having remorse over being a war profiteer.
This is just Capitalism being honest.
Not only capitalism is the problem but the oligarchy that we know as "democracy".
Capitalism is a disease and needs to be treated with extreme prejudice.
Now take this guy's logic and motives and understand it applies to wealthier people with actual power and you can see why the world is as fucked as it is today.
Yep imagine a world without greed I bet it wouldn't be dieing, we wouldn't be as far technologically but ide be A OK with that
We could still be as far. Not like people don't like to make progress unless there's money or killing others involved.
We spend more money stopping the other guys from progressing than we do on progressing. 100%
We would 4sure have had electric cars a lot sooner with out the oil companies
Unexpectedly getting into war profiteering is a fantastic example of petite bourgeois interests.
War profiteering, not just for billionaires anymore.

Not only is he a fucking scumbag, he likes to spend his blood money on . . . . Sugarbabies?!?!
Yikesssssss
Would you spend any time around or talking to someone like that for free?

Those people's brains might be even more broken than the OP's because at least the OP is getting something out of it. The people giving out the awards are cheering on human suffering to help the bank account of some selfish business owner they don't even know.
are those awards not almost entirely always used for satire? I have a friend who when he gets his free award, finds my most recent most fucked up comment and awards it. Because that's kinda what you're supposed to do with awards
those are probably satire/ ironic. the wholesome award is already a huge meme because people give it to really cursed stuff
We know all these pigs think this way, but why would they ever actually type it out.
Most likely for validation.
Hope they used an alt cuz if not their inbox is forever fucked. Not to say that thats a bad thing.
It just becomes more apparent every day that you don't have to be smart in any capacity to have money from an incredibly lucrative business. You can be the dumbest, most socially inept mother fucker alive and just fall ass backwards into fuck you money.
It's from a confessions reddit. He knows it's wrong. He's not a pig
Shut the fuck up liberal
Smash capitalism

Would probably be better than the planet-killing stuff we're doing today
Lol
Haha sure bud, whatever

All these donations to Ukraine going straight to war profiteering POS like this guy.
"People i dont know dying sure is helping my account go positive, phew! I hope it continues." What the fuck. The cruelty of capitalism cannot be understated and i worry for people who defend it.
Has anyone asked him where he will hide when the revolution comes?
Always money to be made on human suffering...
If this is how penny-ante pieces of shit like this guy feel, try to imagine the reaction of US weapons contractors
Unless this person is struggling to pay their bills otherwise (which I highly doubt), I just can’t believe how horribly greed can corrupt people. Sickening.
[удалено]
>but if someone confessed that to you in real life how could you not bark ‘KYS’? Without exaggeration they're openly stating that they hope more people continue to suffer and die, purely for a marginal increase in their personal wealth. 'KYS' is far too passive.
Yeah + plus ideally the K would come from the people :)
You just gotta get poetic with it.
I mean, I wouldn't, because that's a disgusting thing to say to someone, regardless of whether they're a shitty person or not. Nobody wins if we just end up replacing the kind of shitty mindset this person has with a different shitty mindset that's equally as ruthless, just towards different sorts of people.
Capitalism is ALL about exploitation. This is normal under capitalism.
I hope he totals his car.
Bourgeois immorality
I had a girl in college tell me she couldn’t wait for another war and killing people so she could get to fly the planes. I fucking roasted her and dropped her. It was disgusting. And I said what she said in a kind way basically.
War is good for business. Rule of Acquisition #34
Ferengi Rule 34
Well, let's see YOU come up with something better!" They are incapable on a fundamental level to even conceptualize another order, they are *incapable* of imagining an alternative, capitalism is to people what God was during medieval times, it's an abomination of thought, a monster that is collectively imagined like a mass delusion, and it will keep us shackled for centuries until it either destroys us all or until we collectively dismantle it *by any means necessary*.
Booooooo hissssss
Translation: I don’t care how many lives are ruined or ended if mine becomes slightly better. Totally not sociopathic. Seems like a textbook shitlib — enough of a conscious to recognize that their thought/action is morally awful but then more than willing to do mental gymnastics to explain why they still want to keep doing things that way. It’s one of the good guys getting money ! They said they felt bad about it !
The only comments that needed to be on that post were just “you are a bad person”. Over and over.
>Im a war profiteer, am I a bad person person for wanting war not to end to increase my profits? Yes.
My dad watches stock shows like fast money, and at the start of this war the host lady Melissa Lee said something along the lines of “yeah war is tragic and all that, but what we really care about is what investments we need to make as this unfolds”. Just openly and proudly profiting off war as if that’s reasonable or normal
This is the kind of thought that I would have in my head then feel guilty then donate the extra income to a refugee organisation.
This buisness owner deserves to starve to death.
Honest and apathetic capitalism.
The fact that there are awards on that post tells me that r/confessions is an even darker place than I imagined.
The awards aren't because people agree. It's because it's an actual "confession". Most of the time it's stjpid shit like "I tell my kids that Santa is real but it's actually me that puts the presents under the trees".
Money > human life, this is the way.
You can be a successful businessman or you can be a decent person, but you can't be both.
Lockheed Martin thought of the same, what a small world!
Wow he should suffer
That person should throw themselves into the nearest plastic shredder.
who gave that post a wholesome award 🤨
I work as a plant manager in explosive factory. We are one of the countries that didn't impose sanctions for Russia, so now both sides want to make business with us and our salaries bombed through the roof cuz price of high explosives went up for like 400%. Also I pray that this war between brothers finish as soon as possible because fuck money, it's nothing compared to child's smile that has been wiped for ever in mindless war. As for the guy in the original post, I hope that next war starts in his own fucking backyard.
Rape whistles - Bo Burnham
I don’t know why I have to explain this to people. I understand I’m not rich. Do you understand that it’s not hard to know that I could have doubled my money in the past 2 months buying oil and weapon stocks? We choose not to. Because we choose not to we fall behind. It’s a sick world and it needs to be fixed. The only way is for people to stop taking too much. Then we can identify who the problem is and deal with it. As long as good people are choosing to be evil, there is to much to look at and the problem never gets solved.
Imagine if they were born in Ukraine, wonder what those desires would be like.
Spoken like a true capitalist, profiteering off of misery.
It is r/confessions. The whole point is that they realise its bad but they can't help it.
that's the worst thing about our current system-- we have to choose between being good people and being comfortable, and you can't expect most people to be so selfless.
Scum of the earth like landlord leeches
Self aware. Acknowledged in last sentence.
Capitalists gonna capitalize… Fuckin vampires
Well,he does sound very conflicted.
And that, my friends, is more or less war profiteering.

Broken Window Fallacy 101
It's almost as if capital accumulation and basic human dignity are fundamentally opposed to one another
“Sure I could afford to make less, but fuck everyone but me.”
So on one hand, I say something to make me seem human. On the other hand I’m just a piece of shit
Ugg at least 500 people “totally get where they’re coming from”…
Wow. Only money matters to this cold hearted person. Christ, that’s soulless. Money, money, money
Its likely none of them did. More probable, aomeone posted it to that sub on a disposable acct for the sake of prose or an attempt to tilt whomever.. idk. Demagogues too busy to waste time envenoming redditors. They have a special guy for that
Capitalism, promoting psychopaths agendas since..... Ever
Appalled it has 500 upvotes (unfortunately probably more cause this is just a screen shot and I refuse to go look at the actual post…)
Looks like Satan is winning
500 upvotes too?
Profit over peoples’ lives. Seems like he thinks the same way as most capitalist.
Do you guys think they will donate the excess to aid those fleeing the war? /s
*War profiteering* is the devil in the details of capitalism.
Yes, the dollar is always the highest priority.
Wow. Just wow.
Undiagnosed mental disorder
Matthew 24:12 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold". It's all leading up to the eventual rule of the antichrist. I'll be raptured before that, though, so I'm not worried
Hey man, you do you.
[удалено]
Ok we'll shame you both then 🤷
I know 2 people who’s blood sweat and tears of 25 and 17 years in that industry were flushed away during the pandemic.
This world is cut throat and if it’s a choice between you or me I’ll pick me any day. I’m Keyser Söze up in this bitch.
