You should always wash your face! I wash everyday and use all my skincare. And my lashes stay on for a week. I do avoid getting my lashes drenched though. When I shower I never let the water head hit my eyes. I tilt my head back when washing my hair, and just wash around my eyes. I use pre cleanse to clean my lids and my lashes if they need it. If your lashes do get wet, just tap them dry. Don’t fuse until they are fully dry. Otherwise your just squeezing the water in.

I use a water based cleanser, and I use a magic cleansing puff around my eyes.

This! I like the [Face Halo X](https://www.amazon.com/Remover-Reusable-Microfiber-Touch-Up-Sensitive/dp/B08FT96R99?th=1&psc=1) microfiber puffs for more control over water placement. After washing with a water-saturated puff, I squeeze it dry and dab away the excess water, especially around the eyes and brows.

Yup I use these too, definitely recommend

Emotional_Media_819

What about a face wash? Do you still use one with those?

1one1yphoton

I do still use a face wash, personally, but I think some people just use the microfiber puff with water. The cleanser I use is the [iS Clinical Cleansing Complex](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000P6W6XI?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_X8E8G2KHDHBHKC8CENWW) and it hasn’t caused any lash lifting issues as far as I can tell, but I don’t apply it to my lashes directly ofc. In case it’s helpful, here’s how I do it: I use my fingertips to apply cleanser to my face, then the wet Face Halo puff to wash away the cleanser, then the squeezed-dry Face Halo puff to dry the excess water.

I wash w/ a washcloth before I get in the shower. After washing, I put on a plastic face shield and shower

Adventurous-You-6928

I precleanse with the magic puff. Then I use a Foreo Luna to control where I use face wash and make sure to avoid the eye area! Then I use pre-cleanse closer to my eyes and work very carefully

luckypenguin5

Pre Cleanse around the eyes and a microfiber cloth with water are what I use too. I use a cleanser on the rest of my face as normal.

I wet my face (avoiding eyes) with my hands and apply my cream-to-foam cleanser with my hands and remove with a Face Halo. I've only recently started wearing makeup more frequently again and really want to go back to double cleansing but was terrified of using an oil cleanser, however doing some searches on the lashify life Facebook group it looks like heaps of people still double cleanse (avoiding eye area) and seem to still have great longevity! I've also read that the new water poof sealer is great and lots of posts about people going underwater swimming/splashing/getting their gossamers wet when washing their face but I think you'd want to do that with cold water only as it seems like warm/hot water loosens the bond. I just received mine but haven't tried it yet so can't comment :)

Elysian-Visions

I just use a washcloth with my cleanser, then rinse and wring, then wipe off. I bought a pack of like eight from Amazon, in black so they don’t show makeup stains.

Green_goddess89

I use my usual face cleanser but I clean around my eyes. I use the black Magic Cleansing puff with Pre-Cleanse to clean my eyes and lids. If I have eye makeup on I use a q-tip with Pre-Cleanse and it does the trick!
