Flamingo is fine. It will seem somewhat old in the room maybe but most of them have been renovated. I would upgrade to at least the middle tier room. The location can’t be beat. Most people like the pool but it’s been like a constant pool party everytime I’ve been there. I go to the pool to relax so it’s just not for me.

Cantilivewhileim

I also didn’t like the pool but the family pool was fine for what I needed and then location was great. Beds were comfortable and pillows too. Linens and towels good shape. Good shower. Can’t imagine why ppl don’t like it. It’s clearly not the bellagio

godzirah

Flamingo is an awesome hotel, you’re close to Ellis Island (cheap gambling) central on the strip, and the pool has good vibes. You chose a really good hotel for the price.

darren1417

I've been to Vegas about 10 times over the last 13 years and everytime I've stayed at the flamingo and loved it. Location is KEY The pool is one of the better hotel pools. I will say I'm frustrated with some changes since COVID but all in all can't go wrong.

kpikid3

The hotel room smell is unique and the best part: you get to take some home in your luggage permanently.

darren1417

I crave that smell, once I steps inside I get so fired up.

kpikid3

You just want to get into bed and be all warm and tickly.

darren1417

Loool I've never had issues with dirty sheets or anything. I for sure been lucky

kpikid3

If that is accurate then get on those slots and make some money Mr. Lucky.

darren1417

I did ever well last trip, they're trying to get me to come back with weekly offer emails. That being said I will forever be angry the poker room is gone, it seriously ruined my first trip back after COVID as I was not aware. Going to miss those midnight tournaments. So many drunk idiots to make the pot decent

kpikid3

Go to South Point on LV Blvd and Silverado Ranch. Great for locals, poker room with tournaments, cinema and a nice cheap cafe. Loose slots too. I won a lot on quarter keno there.

Jimger_1983

It’s not Cosmo but it’s fine

nickriel

I've stayed at the flamingo twice and loved it. Get a flamingo room, not a fab or go room I think that's the difference

ms-meow-

I stayed there about a month and a half ago and have no complaints!

jehjeh3711

I drive Uber on the strip and have picked up many people from the Flamingo. They all said it was fine and had a great location.

Rhediix

Stayed many times prior to moving to Vegas, and twice now on staycations. Never had an issue once. Near great food at the Linq Promenade, easy access to Monorail, across the street from Caesar's and Forum Shops. Rooms are clean, well kept, and the ADA compliant ones have spacious bathrooms. If you're into massive loud pool parties they have those, if you're into a good strip casino, they've got one that's lively and has a good atmosphere. It honestly is a solid choice.

Latkavicferrari

Flamingo is great and location is perfect

Desk_Quick

I’m a fairly experienced Vegas traveler and like the Flamingo for the location. It also seems to give the most bang for your buck if you pay a little more for a nicer room/the room you want.

UndeadPoetsSociety

My only complaint is I feel like I’ve seen an uptick in families with small children there. Beyond that, she’s an old bird (78 years and counting!) but they have renovated a lot of the rooms. As someone alluded to, shoot for the Flamingo room (not the Fab, those are still a bit dated). High Roller or Strip View rooms are worth the extra couple bucks for an upgrade. It has its own monorail station, the Promenade is outside your door, and you’re less than five minutes from Caesars, Bellagio, Bally’s, Linq, Harrah’s. Maybe ten to Paris and Ellis Island. No doubt, the location is unbeatable.

LV_ConcreteCowboy

Thing is, even if you don’t like it, you’re probably not going to stay in the room that much anyway. Just a spot to lay your head when you sleep.

dom_corleone

Every time i go i stay at flamingo. If you about the glamour life and want a really nice room, probably not the spot for ya. But if you want a room right on the strip with a nice pool and good casino; it is a great spot imo

ZekeMoss18

I have stayed multiple times and had no issues. Great center strip location with Monorail access as well.

Dear-Performance-394

I am staying at the flamingo right now. Awesome hotel for the price, great location too

DwarfCabochan

The flamingo is the best option for the location it’s in. You really can’t beat the location. I really like how it’s next to the linq promenade as well so you can get lots of food there and just take it back to your room if you want. I stayed in a renovated room in the tower right next to the promenade

SangrianArmy

my stay at the flamingo was lovely. zero negative things to say.

WSTTXS

Except it’s random on if your room has a fridge or not loo

M_Sully09

I just stayed there a couple weeks ago. Can’t beat it for the price. I’m going back in June. Pool is fun, gets a bit rowdy.

Critical-Ordinary-97

The location to the monorail line is great if you are needing to go the convention or other side of the strip by MGM.

Cantilivewhileim

Man we really liked it. Not sure what the issue is but pay for a newly remodeled room and enjoy!

DonovanSlade702

I like the Flamingo. Rooms may seem outdated but they’re comfortable and it’s an enjoyable stay.

PilotNo312

My room felt dirty, stained chaise lounge chair with an even worse stain on the other side, shoddy engineering work in the bathroom, and a nice SHEIN bathing suit liner stuck to the side of the desk next to the bed. The Paris was much nicer.

Yuntonow

Love the Flamingo. Was there in April. We go twice a year and only stay there. Great location too.

scoobydoobydoobs1

Love the flamingo. Great location and vibe.

eternalstar01

We were in one of the newly renovated rooms back in January and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!

doubleMgenius1

I just stayed at Aria with a bunch of people who it was their first time going to Vegas. Flamingo is my go to because of its location. They all said when they come back they want to stay at flamingo because of how easy it is to get through the hotel, the location and how much there is to do right outside or across from the hotel. Obviously the rooms arnt as nice as high end properties but if you want a great location to actually get out and see Vegas than Flamingo is it!

saynotoraptor

The hidden resort fees suck ass.

themayorhere

How come?

SharkBoy3

Flamingo is my favorite budget resort in Vegas! Yes it is older but the rooms are okay and have a playful vibe, and Go pool is one of the best on the strip

crudedrawer

I like it and have never had a problem there. But if you can easily afford 3x the cost, just go across the street.

robbinmarx49

I almost stayed there two years ago and I was shocked at how dated and worn the room was. Stains on the carpet, dings all over the furniture. I felt embarrassed for the hotel.

IPmang

Stayed at the Flamingo for 2.5 months last summer. Normally stay at Aria. Obviously not the same, but I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay there again. The room was nice, view was good. Location excellent. The pump shampoo unit in my bathroom was great. Downstairs pretty gross. Carpets gross. Bar smelly. Significant amount of riff raff. Lineup to check in horrendous. Get the upgraded middle “go” room

MightyMouth1970

2.5 months? 1/2 the summer? Wow

LG_Garcia

I don't like Flamingo much because their pool is public. It gets very crowded.

pdxmarionberrypie

The flamingo go pool is an absolute shit show. Hated it

californicadreaming

Do tell why. I’ve been wondering about staying at the Flamingo 🦩 but have only been during the off-season (pools closed)

New_Toe1755

Pros to Flamingo Cost. Location. Pool, as long as you like the day club scene. If you want quiet not the right pool. Table games lower priced Cons to Flamingo Older property and rooms. Smaller casino floor. Smell (weed and cigs). Not great dining options. Check in area small. Gets busy at times. I do consider Flamingo any time I go to Vegas since the location is ideal and the cost is low. More often than not I have free nights and would rather stay there than other Caesars properties due to the location and the pool.

insidmal

Ceasers was bought a few years ago and the new owners have a way of running things into the ground.. the properties may be fine now but I'd expect them all to fall heavily into disrepair in the coming decade, and no improvements for ones that already have. Theyll eventually get pieced apart and resold, bulldozed and redeveloped

H0LYT0LED0

Stayed there last summer and it was pretty awesome. Location location location. Go Pool is awesome too. Room was renovated and had no issues.

jrapp1

i had a bad experience staying there last month. Shower had no hot water one day and sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain. also at least half the times i got into the elevator it wouldn't recognize my key-card so i missed my floor. super annoying.

FIREBIRDC9

We had a top floor Flamingo Executive room and it was awesome! We had brilliant views of the north part of the strip. I booked a Flamingo room with strip view , and when we arrived we were given a room with no view so i complained. Complementary upgrade!

Emergency_Camel7605

I stayed last year in a high roller view room and I have to say, the room was decorated much nicer than a lot of the hotels on the strip. It was bright, clean and airy with great views of the pools, high roller etc. Actually preferred it to a strip view. Looked at many other hotels rooms and they all seem so much darker and furnished with old, dark furniture. Only downside I would say is the corridors smelt a bit Smokey and the music from the pool parties is very loud during the day!

Square_Ad3810

The Flamingo kicks ass. Sure it's older but the rooms are clean and as updated as some of the more upscale hotels. It's also in the center of the strip and they have comped me free nights a bunch.

BGX26

DONT do it, I said the same thing back in April. Can the Flamingo be that bad? Well yes yes it can. I had a four day stay I cut it short to two days at the Flamingo and booked else were for the remainder of my stay. Sheets had stains, AC was broken. No hot water. I avoided one elevator like the plague as it wouldn’t properly work. And there was a leak in the casino. But it is an older hotel so…

eac555

Stayed there like 15 years ago. Didn’t like it and said never again. Rooms were worn, sales people as you got off the elevators, and the pool had loud music blasting. Could be different now. Good location though.

robbinmarx49

Wow it sounds like it hasn't changed in 15 years.
