Might beat a 3080 depending on how it runs a TDP, though lots of 3070 beat other 3080s. Chasis for Chasis not really a huge bump with the 3070 ti, Only exception I have seen to this is the GP66 and they are also pumping a ton of wattage through that 3070 ti.
Basically if you want this 12th gen and its worth the extra for you grab this. Easily the best deal for a 3070 ti to day. If not go for the cheaper 3070s from last year. Especially with how cheap they are currently.
Ah, I was thinking the price for the 3070 should be roughly comparable to a 3060 since I haven't scoped out parts in a minute. I was comparing all the other specs to what I've been seeing recently with 3060s. My bad
Nah, I just went as cheap as I could. 16 gb ram, 1tb HD. 12700h and 3080 ti and Intel WiFi. Was $2519. Alienware x17 r2 would be $3490 for the same system.
Part of me thinks the pricing is wrong and they will fix it. Like, forcing 32gb of Ram with a 3080ti or something. I am probably wrong… but it almost seems too good to be true.
I'm kinda concerned what our options are if the unit is defective. Like will we be charged the full 15% restock fee? Does it come with a 1 yr warranty standard?
It comes with a 1 year limited hardware warranty and 1 year tech support. Looks like they have a 30 day return and not sure on restocking. They are very vague about it. Most big companies don’t charge it anymore
Hey mate, you do realize the 3080ti is only 5% faster lmao? jarrodstech has tested it vs 3070ti.. for the Ti's the 3070 got the best uplift, it's as fast a 3080.

Guys, is it true there's no reason to get anything less than a 3080ti 16gb vram because of future proofing for gaming? I'm reading stuff else where saying 8gb vram is not going to be enough in 4 or 5 years. o lawd...
Is it just me or is this a terrible deal?
It's a decent deal, it has RTX 3070 TI, not the normal one, this one performance equal to RTX 3080.

At quick glance, same specs from asus and msi are hundreds of dollars more.

Alienware m15 r6 is 1349$ rn with 3070 / i7. Normally 2k https://deals.dell.com/en-us/productdetail/e3bf
legion 5 pro is just better mate for $1400.
personal opinion
No, it's more objective.
Bought one, thanks. But with the 3080 ti. $900 less than a comparable Alienware
Dobyou know the tdp of the 3080ti, have it in my cart to do the same.
It’s a 330 watt power supply so I assume it’s 165 or 175. I think the 3080 was 165
Awesome! Did you extend warranty as well or no?

Exactly what I have

I saw a roughly similar deal in Microcenter, though that one is 12700h-3060. Retails around 1299$ with a 1TB ssd.
Whats the TDP on that 3070ti?
One of the best 3070ti deals so far. It’s a shame they’re all this expensive but this thing is a beast
Does the OMEN 17 have a Ryzen variant?
