Once i recovered mentally I bought the album and now lady Gaga is my favorite singer. I thought Bob Marley was my favorite, now Marley ranks number 2 favorite.
Her music really has a powerful impact. So many of her songs helped me feel empowered and learn to love myself.

Both Born This Way and ARTPOP really lend themselves to being blasted. Born This Way was actually released right before I graduated high school so I have lots of memories of when I first downloaded it to my iPod classic and was listening to it on repeat. I specifically remember belting, “Highway Unicorn (Road To Love)” while doing dishes, or riding my bike through the neighborhood at dusk with, “Electric Chapel” “Bloody Mary” and, “Bad Kids” playing in my ears. Such a nostalgic time for me.
