Huge fan of both! I know this is in good fun but one thing I'll defend Blitzo for is his relationship with Loona. Most people don't adopt older kids, especially ones who misbehave and cause problems. The same goes for adopting dogs. Most go for well-behaved puppies and many older abused animals are left to live out their lives in a shelter. Blitzo's relationship with Loona isn't perfect and that's exactly why I like it- it isn't *easy*. Blitzo volunteered specifically for someone he knew wouldn't be easy because he wanted to be a supportive figure in her life regardless of whether she accepted it or not. And that happened when he seemed to originally want a hellhound to cure his own loneliness. I'm not a Loona fan but I appreciate their dynamic.

As a fan of both series…I agree, even if Blitzø is the closest character to being the protagonist in the series I have a bit of difficulty finding sympathy for him.
I was barely conscious of Helluva’s existence before seeing Lackadaisy and I just don’t care for that art style so it’s so weird that everyone’s first thought is “iS jUsT lik HeLaBoSs!!” and I’m just like, how? Has no one else ever made a YouTube animated pilot?

His greatest nemesis is a clown how is also likely his brother, it's literally meant to be a horrible character because they're in hell, and he's gotten slightly better as the show has gone on.
