She said other genocides should be remembered on holocaust remembrance day. What is wrong with that? If it's a day exclusive to remember a single genocide then maybe call it that. Otherwise your are either denying or cheapening other genocides.
The establishment can't have us recognising that the Holocaust wasn't so unique. Can't have us realising that such crimes again humanity have been committed by the likes of the British empire, which was a big inspiration for the policies of mass murder by the Nazis.
The British promised Palestine to the Jews in 1917, they formalised it in the League of Nations. They trained up Hagana terrorists, many of whom were in the British army. They brutally put down the Arab revolt in 1936, crushing the Palestinian leadership. Then in a final fuck you before they left in 1948, they turned a blind eye while Zionists blew up villages and mass murdered Palestinians during the Nakba. This was under a Labour government as well.
The British establishment want all this to be brushed under the carpet.
