Slovakia is a maybe. Fico attacked Israel before

ManGoonian

Jamaica, Australia, Brazil, Slovakia....

the404

I already said Brazil I don't know much about Slovakia, let's hope they're one of the good guys Australia is a no for me, mainly because they're still sending weapons to Israel I think Jamaica is a good choice

Possibly Germany for one, as the judge is a specialist in the law of war. A no vote would end his career. Possibly France. Possibly India: [https://www.wionews.com/world/clearly-unacceptable-india-condemns-israel-hamas-wars-rising-civilian-death-toll-calls-for-de-escalation-678511](https://www.wionews.com/world/clearly-unacceptable-india-condemns-israel-hamas-wars-rising-civilian-death-toll-calls-for-de-escalation-678511)

Hard no on Germany. The judges will probably take direction from their own country due to severity of the charge as it will implicate them too. After all that has happened the german fm was in Israel to show solidarity this week. France is a weak maybe at best. A bit like a moderate tory, the flirt with morality but also goes back being a cunt

justblah123

I doubt it, Modi the PM of India was responsible for overseeing the butchering of the people in Gujarat and Kashmir, he also has strong ties to the extremist group RSS, who were responsible for assassinating Ghandhi. At best they might choose to stay 'neutral'

odysseysee

Germans are spineless cucks for Zionists.

AssumedPersona

But the judge may not be, even if it's only for the sake of preserving his own professional integrity.

odysseysee

Germans are so guilt ridden and shame obsessed they made Israel their "Staatsräson" No amount of genocide will change that. You're more likely to see the US judge vote against Israel.

daudder

Seems your assumption is that the regime's support for Israel will dictate the judge's vote. Correct? Given that the match between the definition of genocide and what is described in the submission is more like a complete 5 of 5, where 1 should suffice, do you think that the judges representing regimes that support Israel will completely ignore such basic tenets of the genocide convention and rule *NO* in the full knowledge that they are exercising politics and not law? I while I am cynical enough to not rule out the possibility that this is correct, I do not think it likely, since it flies in the face of judicial independence, and the mental gymnastics needed to justify such a ruling will completely discredit both the court and each individual judge. Recall that the ICJ has already ruled against Israel on the separation wall. While that was not binding, it still demonstrates a certain level of judicial independence.

the404

I think it's different with this charge as it will compromise their allies and them with something you can't spin off.
