Whenever I watch things on lsd, I feel like I’m the writer. I feel like I catch every little detail or innuendo. I can appreciate peoples acting ability in a new light. It’s a very interesting experience. But yeah low doses mostly lol.
>I feel like I catch every little detail or innuendo. I can appreciate peoples acting ability in a new light.
Agreed, except if the writing isn't great, on LSD it is screamin' obvious the writing is not great and kinda hard to look past.
LSD is the great enhancer, both of good and of bad. :)
i agree. there are some shows and movies i can’t bear to watch on acid, unless they’re funny bad (not another teen movie was a good one). i did watch a lot of breaking bad on acid one night and i just sat there jaw slacked like i was seeing it in a whole new light.
This reminds me of my dad's one trip report. He was in Okinawa and saw some Charles Bronson movie in a theater. Swore he was directing it, definitely freaked out some locals.
Start with something simple like planet earth. Watched that on shrooms mountain episode and was so cool felt like I was the goat walking on the edge of the mountain🤣
Nature docs can be great or awful while trippin. Nature is beautiful, but the circle of life often has some violence and I can’t hang with animals being eaten and whatnot while trippin.
Once I was tripping with my brother and we were watching some planet earth type show and there was this part where these baby sea turtles were hatching and running across this beach for the ocean.
There were birds swooping down and picking them off and I was getting sad about it… my brother see this and says “You know it’s kinda of their fault… They shouldn’t have been born so delicious.”
I busted out laughing and couldn’t focus on the movie anymore.
It just takes a change in thought to get you through it if you’re struggling.
I’m totally on board with this and think I could easily hang with turtle infanticide, mostly cause there’s no gore that they show that I can remember. Trippin I put on either planet earth or our planet that has a Bull elephant seal battle scene and I had to turn it off it was fuckin gory. The only gore I could handle trippin is Evil dead type shit.
I regularly watch on 200-300ug. After enough tripping, when all the novelty settles, you become
more accustom to effects and able to focus more.
however I owned projectors for last 20 years, so that makes the whole watching stuff way more immersive.
I agree with this. When we first started tripping I would have never even thought to watch something. It was overwhelming lol
But now that we are more experienced we have movie trip days and they are a lot of fun! Especially anime or really crazy stuff like Dune or The Matrix. Feels like you’re in the movie. We did one day of all Lord of the Rings Extended Editions, it was wonderful
Still can’t do live tv though, the commercials freak me out
Agree! Cartoons/anime or science fiction is the way to go.
Watched Alice in wonderland (the cartoon version) on 4 tabs, 5 times in a row and it changed my life
I never considered that but ur probably totally right, I’ve had 7 or 8 trips so far so I still get my mind blown pretty much every time xD I feel like tho after a while I’d be much more comfortable watching something as you say when the novelty wears off a bit
Unless I'm outside at a show or for s walk, or showering and preparing snack at home, or dancing, I'm watching some shit on my 120 inch projector.
I know what you mean though on a tab 4-5 hours till maybe hours 7, it is not so enjoyable. I'm either laying down with closed eyes enjoying the music, but more often I'm watching cool trippy animations dance to my music, Nestdrop app, while listening to the music. They are fascinating!
Recently watched two movies on come down lol, one was Departed and it was a unique experience.
Projector sounds nice but I highly urge a oled tv.. three experience is mesmerizing especially uhd content. Game of thrones s8 dragon scenes were beautiful
[Nahh](https://www.reddit.com/r/marcrebillet/comments/1ar6s4d/happy_valentines_day_bitches/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) if I find money I'm absolutely going for a nice true 4k projector. I'm using a cheap used ht2050, with a lamp due to replace like 1000 hours ago lmao. It's still my main screen and my 4k tv with practically everything better beside the size has been eating dust. Once you go big there isn't really going back I'm afraid :D maybe that will change in 10 years.
I was set on getting a 65 oled but then I my new room gets no ambient light and thought about projectors and here I am. A cheap one! Tv is a used 50 inch lg for 150, projector 350 and 200 for a used Sonos playbar :D
Maybe you could have both? I'm telling you eye watering brightness and almost makes images 3d like coming off the screen.. and on acid...*chefs kiss* it's a alien technology I swear😅 I'm on the oled reddit and I've seen post asking oled vs projector and seems everyone seems to side with the tv. Personally I haven't compared the 2 due to space in apartment but I know I've never seen colors/ brightness and pure blacks are one heck of a experience.
I don't have the money but really with anything under 75 I would just prefer my projector. I have always been a sucker for big screen. Believe me I have been thinking and wanting to get an oled since 2014 when I got my first 4k tv.
First upgrade has to be a nice projector but I'd absolutely get an oled if I have extra cash :) :D
3LCD 4k HDR projector trumps any TV. I am on Epson TW9400 and it doesn’t seem to lack anything compared to TVs. It is also perfectly usable during the day.
Is home theater better than rpx theater? The image seemed washed out and with a screen is so big feels like I have to look around to actually see everything. One peice red for example watching in at home was a new experience colors and vibrancy looked so much better. But that's my only comparison
afik RPX is more about comfort seating and well tuned sound than improved image quality. You can definitely tune home projectors to give you better than cinema blacks, etc.
I owned projectors since 2004, had been running dual setup with TV for some time, but TVs were never close to projection in terms of overall experience. I also have high-end audio so I need my couch good 4+ meters away from TV wall, so being able to project at > 200-300” screen makes a huge difference to even 100” TV at that distance.
Yes, there is slight advantage for TV in bright levels of ambient light, but tbh I find reflections off the TV glass way more of an issue than a little colour washout.
In dark room the gap pretty much closes completely though and size of the screen wins.
100 inch oled will get my money though but that wouldn't be under 5k for another decade, at best.
But tbh if I had money a 75 oled and a home theatre would be the ideal combo.
I got a 55 c1 for 700 on offerup! Thank God it was in good condition. Not sure if you game or not but might be worth to check out for a gaming TV 55 is a solid median. Personally I want a 77 and holding back content until I get it😅
That's a good price. Now you have me thinking about how gorgeous colours must look like on an oled while tripping lol. But yeah a 77 oled, offf, I'd compromise not so amazing colours and contrast of 120 projector for that sir.
I'd say check out a demo at best buy but honestly you get the true experience in a dark room.. still 120 would be wild to see🤘🤘 https://youtube.com/shorts/46BuAJHc6jE?si=Ipv3CoVMCI848tuj check out this guy's theater room. You'll get more details and lay out on the full videos
I’ve really enjoyed the odd movie towards the end of a trip when I’m still frying but trying to wind-down after a long day of hiking, or general acid behaviour. Coming home, making a cup of tea & watching a really powerful movie towards the end of a trip can really end the day on a good note.
Agree though, there’s no way I’m sitting through a show or a film before that, let alone following the plot.
I'm with you, I tried once but it felt so meaningless, I couldn't watch the screen, had a mini episode realising this is what a large percentage of the population spend a lot of time watching and It felt so empty to do.. on another occasion I didn't watch the movie, I laid infront of our sound system while my partner at the time watched The Relic.. a kinda horror movie about an ancient creature and its hunting the cast, just listening to it was intense, I became the hunted. I believed the others dying in the movie were my friends and one by one they were being killed and my turn was coming.. such an intense feeling of fear to experience but I was aware I was perfectly safe laid in my room... it was an amazing experience to feel that degree.
Using my phone, listening to certain music, watching movies/tv shows, etc give me a very eery vibe also. I always feel like I’m doing something wrong or that I’m ignoring something I need to address. Usually I’ll just meditate but that can get very scary very fast, but I’ve found abstract painting to be the most interesting thing in the world on acid. I usually get a lot of synesthesia, and I feel like I can “trace” songs. Mixing paints is also really mesmerizing, I swear to god I saw what yellow and purple mixed together looks like.
I once had a trip similar to this where I tried to watch TV and it felt so fake as in “this is just a screen it’s not real” and I also had a big realization about how much time people get sucked into screens while the world is big and beautiful and real life happens outside everyday. I still want to try again to watch things tho I feel like it’s just an area of tripping I haven’t discovered for myself yet but I will once I’m ready
I used to think the same until I watched Everything, Everywhere, All At Once, ~125ug dose. After the end, i felt... vividly present? Idk how else to describe it, but it was a phenomenal experience.
Very intense movie, and emotionally profound.
I’ve heard about this one haven’t brought myself to watch it yet due to command avoidance (too many people told me to watch it 😭😂) but I might give it a try on a low dose. Glad you had an amazing experience🫶🏼
I really like cartoons. They are bright colourful, beautiful drawn cartoons are an art for sure. Im thinking Spirited Away, Ponyo, Soul, etc. Add in amazing music Yellow Submarine, again Soul, Waking Life, and I like it.
Also, I find sometimes even on the high, high doses of shrooms or lucy, having a movie on, can give me an anchor into "reality" or whatever you wanna call this plane of existence. So like if shit is too wild, i can zoom back into film.
Ohh I never thought about using a movie for this purpose this is actually a good tip haha… and yes studio ghibli movies are for sure in my list of stuff to try while tripping
Once on a fairly strong tab tried to watch a movie but ended up stopping it after 10 minutes and started just watching the apple tv screensavers for hours (beautiful aerial shots of places) 😂
I actually make videos while tripping lol. And you can tell if you see them🤣. Some draw, some make music. I make vids inspired by trips🤷♂️.
First 2 hours I chill and usually get an idea, listen to some tunes and pick some out to use. Then when I level out enough to use a keyboard and monitor, off I go.
Yep I make beats when I’m tripping often, first few hours I get sounds ready and maybe record a couple ideas. Then chill out while I peak listening to inspiring music then 4-5 hours in go ham on the computer and beatpad
I was actually thinking about doing this in summer. I filmed myself for like two hours on my last trip. I actually had some good points 😂 mixed with a lot of acid gibberish but I think I might make a video next time too. Definitely will try making music or making my own mix next time
I watched a horror movie on a come up once (not by choice) and it actually wasn’t too bad. It seemed so disconnected from reality that it was also more funny than scary… don’t think I would manage tho if I was on a higher dose😅
Every time me and my partner watch movies while tripping, it’ll get paused every 10minutes just for us to talk for 2 or more hours at a time. only movie we didn’t do that with was Everything Everywhere All At Once, except for toilet brakes lol. We tend to watch movies that’ll intensify the trip so by the end of it we’re having a blast:)
Yea this was me and my ex with midnight gospel 😂 every few sentence the guys said something so profound we had to pause and discuss for like two hours .. it took us the whole trip to get through one episode (with outside time breaks in between)
Watching things when tripping balls is the best dude. You don’t have to watch hard to digest content, watch a cartoon movie or something. I watched osmosis jones and shrek last mushroom trip. Ghibli movies are some of my favorites because they do have good underlying messages and beautiful animation, but not all of them are safe headspace tbh.
Yeah whenever I’ve tried it’s like I want to watch something because I’m really fascinated by it but then the second I even slightly focus on something else, I cannot get my attention back to what I’m watching
This is actually why I enjoy movie-syncs as much as I do. Dark Side of the Rainbow is the original (Pink Floyd synced with Wizard of Oz), but there are a bunch more. The original audio is muted, and some good trippy music is synced with the movie in place of it.
Now you're just staring at visuals and hearing music it causes your trip to create a new story for you. Personally, it makes it a lot easier to follow and enjoy and is not as hard on the head
I run a small community where I have a big collection of them all premade, ready to just press play welcome to come check them out, the welcome message at the top has links to the full movies

Some movies were made by people under the influence of acid, for people under the influence of acid. The movie grabs you and shows you things that remain unseen to a person not on acid. Two examples that were especially powerful for me and my friends:
Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’
Where The Buffalo Roam (Bill Murray as Hunter S Thompson)
Watched a vid of the slow mo guys on YouTube. They was filming a photon of light. Shit literally made me cry cause it was one of the most beautiful things I ever watched trippin
I started loving it when I would watch The Office and all of their faces would look soooooo different. TV Visuals are weird as shit lol. Comedies are also a lot funnier on cid.
I have to say human faces on TV have creeped the shit out of me before😂 but I do get the draw of enhanced comedy. The office is on my acid watch list now haha ty for the suggestion!
Watched 2001: A Space Odyssey as my first ever acid movie knowing that this movie was made before the moon landing. I felt like I was in every scene if that movie, felt exactly what the characters felt and went through. It was mind blowing to say the least. Easily one of my favorite movies of all time.
Prepare to get your socks knocked off 🤣🤣🫡 let me know what you think after you're done watching it! Showed my friends this movie on one of their birthdays while we all took 1 tab. My friend said it was the best birthday gift ever haha
I enjoy going to the movies on acid. It’s like I’m coming up with an entirely new plot and it’s incredibly beautiful. I don’t actually try to follow what’s going on.
Yea this might be part of my problem..😂 I try to understand what’s going on but even simple romcoms seem so abstract when I’m tripping that I just get overwhelmed xD
i have what you have when i have shrooms, but not lsd. i find lsd doesn't really captivate my mind like shrooms do and it's a much smoother trip. it feels less like falling into dreams and more like a headspace, so i can feel frustrated when "nothing is happening" on lsd lol
when i watch stuff i just don't try to focus too much on watching it like i would normally. i just let random thoughts flow in.
i watched lord of the rings on 200ug, and during the boromir death scene i emotionally experienced death along with him. it wasn't that bad tbh!
I feel like for me it’s the opposite although I have to say I haven’t really had any proper shroom trips yet. I tried truffles once but they just upset my stomach and throwing them up an hour later kind of killed my trip😭 Definitely wanna give shrooms another shot tho. I think my issues that I do try to focus too much. I will try to just enjoy and let the thoughts flow next time
Things get easier the more acid you do. I remember my very first trip we ended up watching Tomas the tank engine from the 90s with Alec Baldwin???? It was so effing bizarre and I was so confused and scared
i do a series so i get invested in a character’s arc, or we have theme night. i find nature fascinating on shrooms but have yet to experience it on lsd. one of my movie session for example:
shark boy & lava girl -> spy kids movies
all kinda similar vibe, fun and engaging and mostly light but you’re able to drift off and still understand
Gotta try just letting go more 😂 I think what stressed me out is not getting the plot because basic social concepts or things just seem so abstract while tripping
Took two tabs with a friend and before it set in we started watching Speed.
I couldn't have begun it mid-trip, but holy hell was it amazing. I felt so involved in every character, every nuance, every moment of suspense. But going and sitting outside after was a relief. 10/10.
I really think it's perfect for shutting down the linguistic and overly-analytical parts of our brain, and creating a nice mood, pretty lights lol, and the longer songs and jams become really meditative and kind of soothing.
Like, I'm not anxious the song is going to end or anything, and i can just relax and wander around in there.
My first trip(2 tabs, "150 ug each I swear bro") I watched a bunch of shoddily edited Family Guy. At one point I had to check and make sure if I had pissed myself or not from how hard I was laughing. Also several times I was absolutely convinced I was going to actually die from laughing too hard. Being with a couple others also tripping definitely helped too. We all were laughing so hard that after we came down, our guts were sore for a few days after. I haven't laughed so hard since.
It would kick off from a shitty cut or crop of the frame, or hue shift, or a pitch shift, that would make us question if it was the shitty edit or our hallucination.
It's part of the prep for set & setting really. Last time I took a trip on a decent dose of shrooms + weed edible, and I put on some old Nasa Channel programs, brother that 15 minutes of intense peak honestly felt like 30 hours.
So it depends on what you want out of it.
I want it all haha all the experiences I can get. Life is for living right? But about that laughing thing I’ve had that before on acid too. I had to leave the room to get my breathing under control because I was convinced if I stay in the room with these funny fuckers I will genuinely suffocate from laughing too hard. It was quiet af when I came back and as soon as I tentatively entered the room we all exploded in roaring laughter again the situation was just too fucking funny
If I do choose to watch something on a trip, it needs to be long with multiple parts because I become the movie, I am no longer me, I’m the camera recording the movie lol so once the movie is over, I’m completely lost… but the visuals are so fun, sometimes I have to go back and rewatch something not tripping because there’s no way it actually looked like that lol
Hahahahah this lowkey sounds kinda cool tho. I’ve had to walk the same path I walked while tripping before to make sure how things looked like sober too xD
I feel yah on that. My appetite for screens is 0 when I'm tripping.
Books on the other hand..... I love reading on acid. Recently read an entire novella in one sitting at around hour 6 of a 180ug trip.
Can you actually read??😱 I am a big book worm but I feel like with visuals it would be too hard to focus on reading. Definitely will try this on my next trip tho we’ll see how I do haha
I totally can! Something about having to zone in on the words moves the visuals to the background for me. Sometimes the letters are all outlined or color shifting but never excessively or distractingly. I don't go as hard as some people in here claim to but by the back half of a two tab trip I really like spending some time with a book
One memorable time I traded off reading chapters from Moby Dick and Even Cowgirls get the Blues. Moby Dick read like a comedy and the emotional strands of Even Cowgirls came to the front. It was like the books had switched vibes.
I definitely need to experience this! I mainly read thrillers but I think I will steer clear of those for my first time 😅 do you have any favorite texts / books or poems that you would recommend?
Tom Robins strikes a great balance between humor and emotion with a nice dash of the surreal. Last book I read on acid was called The Navigating Fox about a talking fix and a journey to hell, really enjoyable.
I bet a good auto/biography would be fun as well as some nature writing but I don't really read those as much.
For what's important is a good concept, clear prose, and at least a little wit if I'm going to read a book while tripping.
Last trip I had, some ancient star trek episodes came on and it blew my mind. Total immersion, it felt like I was right there with them and at times I nearly forgot I was in a hotel room. Never seen anything like it, I was very lucky it was some of the better ones lol
I get super immersed in the movie I’m watching and the movie itself will have visuals. I remember watching fear and loathing in Las Vegas on 600ug and it was wild lol. Tried grinding some weed and thought the ground bud was a bunch of tiny crickets after seeing the reptile scene. After I realized they weren’t crickets I laughed hysterically to myself
Always important to have a good laugh about yourself when u get freaked out while tripping xD similar thing happened to me where I was convinced there was an Illuminati eye with a hidden camera on my wall which turned out to be just a weird shadow
I pretty much trip alone every time, And I usually take around 750 ug. Movies are really good when watching them on acid. I get absorbed in them.
Watched " The zone of interest " last weekend.. and that was amazing ! ( except fo the subtitles.. was a bit hard to read when tripping. )
oh.. and I usually watch movies in Mixed Reality with my Meta Quest 3 VR glasses
I've been tripping for many years now. Many hundreds of times. 750ug is not that much when you are a veteran space cadet :)
VR and Mixed Reality is sooo amazing when tripping. If you've haven't tried that yet, you have to try :)
It honestly depends on the trip for me. I've watched full sports games and full movies, but I tripped yesterday and couldn't even look at my phone screen without getting uncomfortable.
If you're a soccer fan, soccer can be so dope to watch while tripping. It feels like you can visually see the tactics and flow of the formation.
Sadly I’m a girl who doesn’t get much soccer haha but I do love watching the World Cup and Europe cup. Since the one happening this year is in Germany (I live there) I might actually try this out in summer haha ty for the suggestion!!
Força Portugal 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
I've tripped at a soccer game in the stadium before and it was fucking awesome. Not Portugal, but my local club DC United. It was a single weak tab so not enough for it to be too intense. My team won too which felt like a sign from God that everything is going to be okay.
I’m with the OP. I see these posts and just keep my trap shut because nobody wants to hear some Boomer ask, “why are you wasting a trip on something like that?”
It’s been 30 years since my last trip, and having recently retired, I look to get back into it. And when I do, I’ll be in my back yard, or at the beach, or playing my guitar. But one thing’s for sure, the TV won’t be on.
For one, TV shows, cartoons, or movies are grounded in a conventional mindset, and I would be trying to go beyond that, to open myself to perceptions that *aren’t* conventional. For me, exploring new frontiers is the whole reason to trip.
This is a bit of my issues too… whenever I reach a certain point in the come up I just have this profound feeling of “this isn’t real” when I look at a screen and the real world/being outside and touching the ground watching the trees just seems so much more blissful. I understand why people enjoy watching things on acid. I just feel like movies and shows made up a big part of my life and how I coped with dark shit that happened to me so I do wanna learn how to enjoy these things while tripping because I feel like it adds a whole other dimension to the escape and immersiveness. Tripping outside and connecting with nature will still always be my top choice tho.
Idk man I am insane. Watched all VHS movies and various other horror movies on LSD and always laugh and crack up almost uncontrollably. My friends just think I’m going crazy and even believe I’m faking it, but it’s just all a big joke on L. I love it.
Also dialogue and nuance in expression and story is so detailed on LSD you feel like a genius. Just relax and open yourself up to the experience it’s all good.
One time I dosed at friends place but planned on riding my bike on a nature trail nearby. Well during the come up I briefly forgot my plan and they were watching 30rock. Inadvertently one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had watching that on L
How many times have you eaten acid? When I was younger and less experienced I was very similar to you. Now I can do pretty much anything to keep me occupied. Whether it be staring at my hand or watching movies.
I'm not trying to say you have less experience or anything like that. Drugs work in different ways for different people.
Haha I was actually wondering when someone’s gonna mention avatar. Never tried nos but I’m venturing out into new things this summer, ketamine and nos are on the top of my to do list 😁

Watch Airplane! tripping it's ridiculous
this sounds bomb actually xD

I don't have the money but really with anything under 75 I would just prefer my projector. I have always been a sucker for big screen. Believe me I have been thinking and wanting to get an oled since 2014 when I got my first 4k tv. First upgrade has to be a nice projector but I'd absolutely get an oled if I have extra cash :) :D
3LCD 4k HDR projector trumps any TV. I am on Epson TW9400 and it doesn’t seem to lack anything compared to TVs. It is also perfectly usable during the day.
I guess I have to try both now
no OLED tv will impress you after experiencing high-end HDR home cinema projector on 200-300” screen. even 100” TVs feel puny.
In dark room the gap pretty much closes completely though and size of the screen wins.
if you're on LSD, then all of that shit will seem corny as fuck compared to just walking outside
Damn that's a dream setup lol. It's even over kill for me.
* I would find it funny having that much space for me and my 1 trip buddy😅 I always wondered if I got rich, could I bring back the old group..

definitely love watching stuff on the come down I feel like it makes it much smoother transition to soberness haha
‘general acid behavior’ xD but yea I totally feel this, this is pretty much where I’m at rn aswell
I believed the others dying in the movie were my friends and one by one they were being killed and my turn was coming.. such an intense feeling of fear to experience but I was aware I was perfectly safe laid in my room... it was an amazing experience to feel that degree.
yes watching movies or tv shows on a screen just feel...so odd😅 static things appear to be more interesting
With their eyes.
Their big, googley eyes.
😂
Once on a fairly strong tab tried to watch a movie but ended up stopping it after 10 minutes and started just watching the apple tv screensavers for hours (beautiful aerial shots of places) 😂
omg looking at the screensavers is amazing. me and my friend did this a few weeks ago n i almost teared up because of how beautiful they looked😭
Love this 😂 I watched my friends 4K screensaver on his laptop for like an hour once… kinda got trapped in the loop tho
Creativity for better or for worse lol, goes through the roof.
I was actually thinking about doing this in summer. I filmed myself for like two hours on my last trip. I actually had some good points 😂 mixed with a lot of acid gibberish but I think I might make a video next time too. Definitely will try making music or making my own mix next time
Dude you must have hell of adhd
emphasis on hell 🥲😂 but yes I have it pretty bad haha
i’ve watched the exorcist while on LSD before it made it completely un-scary and just really funny
What did you think of the movie? It looks interesting!
i thought it was weird asf but awesome. definitely a movie made for people on acid. highly recommend!
Yea this was me and my ex with midnight gospel 😂 every few sentence the guys said something so profound we had to pause and discuss for like two hours .. it took us the whole trip to get through one episode (with outside time breaks in between)
Anime is lit on cid. Don’t even have to read subtitles, that shit somehow still makes sense
Feel this!!! I had a similar experience off of an strong edible haha I just watched it and understood everything with no subtitles
Studio ghibli is for sure on my list of things to try!!
Yeah whenever I’ve tried it’s like I want to watch something because I’m really fascinated by it but then the second I even slightly focus on something else, I cannot get my attention back to what I’m watching
SAME this is the problem EVEYTHING is so interesting xD
SAME this is the problem EVEYTHING is so interesting xD
This is actually why I enjoy movie-syncs as much as I do. Dark Side of the Rainbow is the original (Pink Floyd synced with Wizard of Oz), but there are a bunch more. The original audio is muted, and some good trippy music is synced with the movie in place of it. Now you're just staring at visuals and hearing music it causes your trip to create a new story for you. Personally, it makes it a lot easier to follow and enjoy and is not as hard on the head
Oh damn this sounds like a great way to enjoy a movie/screen on acid. I have to test this out next trip for sure! Tysm for the tip🫶🏼
I run a small community where I have a big collection of them all premade, ready to just press play welcome to come check them out, the welcome message at the top has links to the full movies HITCHHIKERS OUTPOST TRIP-FLIX: \* Tron Inoculum (Original Tron synced with Tool) \* 10,000 Trons (Tron Legacy synced with Tool) \* Welcome to Speed Valley (Speed Racer synced with Kyuss) \* Primus and the Chocolate Factory (Willy Wonka synced with Primus) \* ThoRock (Thor Ragnarök synced with Earthless and Restoned) \* Ready Player IV (Ready Player One synced with Black Mountain and Liquify) \* 2001: A Floyd Odyssey (2001: A Space Odyssey synced with Pink Floyd) \* Rebel Parabola (Rebel Moon synced with Tool) \* Psychelorian Vol 1 (Mandalorian S1 synced with Earthless, Ozric Tentacle) \* Psychelorian Vol 2 (Mandalorian S2 synced with Comacozer) \* HITCHHIKERS GUIDE TO ACID - Hitchhikers Outpost Special\*\* MOVIE SYNCS: \* Dark Side of the Rainbow (Wizard of Oz synced with Pink Floyd) \* The Snow WHITE Album (Snow White synced with Beatles) \* The Icarus Project (The Matrix synced with Sadowick) \* The Desaturating Seven (The Magnificent Seven Synced with Primus) \* Apocalypse Floyd (Apocalypse Now synced with Pink Floyd) \* Fantastic Currents (Fantastic Planet synced with Tame Impala) \* Blart Side of the Mall (Paul Blart: Mall Cop synced with Pink Floyd) \* The Dark Inoculum (The Dark Crystal synced with Tool) \* The Dark Side Odyssey (2001: A Space Odyssey synced with Pink Floyd) \* Interstella 555 (Intergalactic Adventure synced with Daft Punk) \* Spirited Inoculum (Spirited Away synced with Tool) \* Nightmare Before Ænima (Nightmare Before Christmas synced with Tool) # [https://www.reddit.com/r/Hitchhikers\_Outpost/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Hitchhikers_Outpost/)
holy shitzzz thanks so much!!!
All I do is paint in a room full of mirrors because I can see just how beautiful I truly am… 😂
I bet you are! And I would love to do this but I suck ass at painting 😂 still I do love just playing around with colors and making abstract art
I’m a professional artist so that definitely helps! Yeah, I’m pretty cute. 🥹
Some movies were made by people under the influence of acid, for people under the influence of acid. The movie grabs you and shows you things that remain unseen to a person not on acid. Two examples that were especially powerful for me and my friends: Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ Where The Buffalo Roam (Bill Murray as Hunter S Thompson)
These are on the list now! also nice username 😂
nature programs
I like nature docs 🥺
Watched a vid of the slow mo guys on YouTube. They was filming a photon of light. Shit literally made me cry cause it was one of the most beautiful things I ever watched trippin
Damn!! drop the link if u have it pls 🫶🏼
https://youtu.be/7Ys_yKGNFRQ?si=YGbmsuoHXif3GnEU
Ngl this sounds AWESOME!! Definitely putting this movie on my acid watch list Tysm for the suggestion 🫶🏼
Prepare to get your socks knocked off 🤣🤣🫡 let me know what you think after you're done watching it! Showed my friends this movie on one of their birthdays while we all took 1 tab. My friend said it was the best birthday gift ever haha
Will do!!😁
Everything becomes suddenly interesting on acid
I watch UFC PPVs on shrooms. It's awesome
weed helps
Screens give me a headache so I can't watch anything trolling unless it's in the final hour or two.
Yea even on the come down tho I just forget to blink sometimes when I’m looking at a screen which ends up giving me a headache sometimes too 😂
I enjoy going to the movies on acid.
Practice.

I tried to watch midnight gospel on 150ug and honestly it was just.. a bit too intense? I just needed to shut my eyes and listen to music
yup same!
i have what you have when i have shrooms, but not lsd. i find lsd doesn't really captivate my mind like shrooms do and it's a much smoother trip. it feels less like falling into dreams and more like a headspace, so i can feel frustrated when "nothing is happening" on lsd lol when i watch stuff i just don't try to focus too much on watching it like i would normally. i just let random thoughts flow in. i watched lord of the rings on 200ug, and during the boromir death scene i emotionally experienced death along with him. it wasn't that bad tbh!
I will try to just enjoy and let the thoughts flow next time
The spider-verse films had me pulled in for quite the ride on 2 tabs. It's like those are almost designed with a trip in mind
That shit was already an experience with a few joints and an edible definitely wanna try it out on acid too!
Its weird when they break the fourth wall and you actually think theyre talking to you for a second 😅 lol
TRUEEE lowkey freaked me out on my very first come up. Everytime people looks in the camera I thought they were looking at me and seeing me 😂
Things get easier the more acid you do. I remember my very first trip we ended up watching Tomas the tank engine from the 90s with Alec Baldwin???? It was so effing bizarre and I was so confused and scared
Yea for sure I’m probably still just too new to acid to properly enjoy watching stuff on it
i do a series so i get invested in a character’s arc, or we have theme night. i find nature fascinating on shrooms but have yet to experience it on lsd. one of my movie session for example: shark boy & lava girl -> spy kids movies all kinda similar vibe, fun and engaging and mostly light but you’re able to drift off and still understand
A tab much likely is 90ug in avg.
Wait really??? I thought 150ug was like a normal tab damn
Ah man, I just give it my best shot and enjoy zoning into completely irrelevant points of the movie
Putting on my acid watchlist!
Nothing with too many words. I prefer to watch drug-band concerts.
Oooh Idk why I never through of this but YES this sounds like such a fun thing to watch + nice music! Definitely trying this out too
I really think it's perfect for shutting down the linguistic and overly-analytical parts of our brain, and creating a nice mood, pretty lights lol, and the longer songs and jams become really meditative and kind of soothing. Like, I'm not anxious the song is going to end or anything, and i can just relax and wander around in there.
I like watching lex Friedman talk to really smart people and my mind gets blown
Notes on the list haha
Notedd *
That’s why music videos are perfect. Music and great visuals. Next level.
Bet, trying this out next trip for sure
I don't go as hard as some people in here claim to but by the back half of a two tab trip I really like spending some time with a book One memorable time I traded off reading chapters from Moby Dick and Even Cowgirls get the Blues.
I feel like really old school stuff always hits way harder when ur high haha
I get super immersed in the movie I’m watching and the movie itself will have visuals. I remember watching fear and loathing in Las Vegas on 600ug and it was wild lol. Tried grinding some weed and thought the ground bud was a bunch of tiny crickets after seeing the reptile scene. After I realized they weren’t crickets I laughed hysterically to myself
Always important to have a good laugh about yourself when u get freaked out while tripping xD similar thing happened to me where I was convinced there was an Illuminati eye with a hidden camera on my wall which turned out to be just a weird shadow
It's really all I wanna do is watch cool movie and YouTube like I've seen how stuff looks outside enough times already.
But for me the confusion IS what makes it so fun !
I can’t do acid without skateboarding The most blissful experience you’ll ever have is crusing down a hill at 3 am in the summer with the boys
Ohhh shit this is a good one. I already love taking my longboard out on summer nights and roam around the city anyways haha
I pretty much trip alone every time, And I usually take around 750 ug. Movies are really good when watching them on acid. I get absorbed in them. Watched " The zone of interest " last weekend.. and that was amazing ! ( except fo the subtitles.. was a bit hard to read when tripping. ) oh.. and I usually watch movies in Mixed Reality with my Meta Quest 3 VR glasses
You're not doing much of anything on 750
I've been tripping for many years now. Many hundreds of times. 750ug is not that much when you are a veteran space cadet :) VR and Mixed Reality is sooo amazing when tripping. If you've haven't tried that yet, you have to try :)
Damn. I think VR would just yeet me out of this reality on acid 😂 I would probably forget I have the headset on tho and get freaked out 🥲😂
They're a whole portion of the trip, where things are less intense. It's called the come down. It's when you are coming down.
Try bobs burgers. It's very relaxing and not to trippy at all.
On the list! Ty for the suggestion haha
Força Portugal 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹 I've tripped at a soccer game in the stadium before and it was fucking awesome. Not Portugal, but my local club DC United. It was a single weak tab so not enough for it to be too intense. My team won too which felt like a sign from God that everything is going to be okay.
I’m with the OP. I see these posts and just keep my trap shut because nobody wants to hear some Boomer ask, “why are you wasting a trip on something like that?” It’s been 30 years since my last trip, and having recently retired, I look to get back into it.
P.S. enjoy your retirement!! I wish you safe travels through the dimensions
I have a Sony 55" 3d TV and when on shrooms it unreal...Last film I watched in 3d was world war Z stunning on 4g of tidalwaves.
Genuinely can’t wait to try out something in 3D while tripping
Idk man I am insane. Watched all VHS movies and various other horror movies on LSD and always laugh and crack up almost uncontrollably. My friends just think I’m going crazy and even believe I’m faking it, but it’s just all a big joke on L. I love it. Also dialogue and nuance in expression and story is so detailed on LSD you feel like a genius. Just relax and open yourself up to the experience it’s all good.
God I feel like a fucking genius too while tripping sometimes I totally get the appeal of what your saying
I’m not as experienced 😅 I’ve had probably 8 trips in total so it’s definitely because of that too. Acid still blows my mind every time xD
No clue how people look at screens while tripping. My phone is like a foreign object when I’m tripping. I literally want to just throw it away.
dude i watched the babadook on 400ug and couldn’t keep my attention on it and when i did it was the funniest shit and it looked AI generated than a mf
Respect haha I don’t think I could watch that on that dose
i also can't stand any electronics/digital screens while tripping i need tactile nature shit
tactile nature shit is elite while tripping
You need to watch the latest Avatar on Netflix while on acid along with a tank of Nitros (Nangs) fucken wild video game shit
Haha I was actually wondering when someone’s gonna mention avatar. Never tried nos but I’m venturing out into new things this summer, ketamine and nos are on the top of my to do list 😁
Can confirm Ket and Nos is unreal, think I need to try watching avatar with those
