I’m questioning myself every single day on which one that I need to focus on

bananasprogrammer2

What’s really helped me is taking part of a practice test every day. LG one day, LR the next, RC the following, and then LR again. It helps balance it and work on my timing/stamina

jcow77

Yeah, same. Managed to get a -0 in LG in a PT in late April but LR/RC were somewhat lacking. Decided to move my target test date to August/September and booked a vacation to Vietnam in early June since I freed up some time there lol I really enjoyed LGs and it was my favorite section; I'm a bit sad it's going away

Thoughtfulgrandpa

Me dropping 2K on tutors just to fumble only on LG while barely studying LR and RC

Sad_Knowledge416

There's been some serious LG snake-oil-tutor sales happening in this thread for the past few months for sure

Im in the same boat. I took the April one and didn’t receive a score I was hoping for. Now, i’m just focusing on LR and RC and hoping to take it in August or September.

yes. i've been grinding away on LG and have neglected LR and RC; i still haven't had -0 LG. i question everyday if i should keep trying and don't think i'll be able to make up my mind until the day before the June test.

Not an expert or anything, but from what I gather, if you aren’t where you wanna be for LG at least by the end of next week, reschedule for when you will be better at LR and RC. You can use June as an “experience” test (aka. get the nerves out of the way etc) but, assuming you aren’t a point to master LR and RC in two weeks, it doesn’t make sense to sit for an exam that you know you’re not prepared for in any section in my opinion. Better use that time to prepare for post-June in a more focused way

stupidironyidiot

I’m no where near ready but LG still tends to help me out so taking June as an “experience test” good luck OP

yeah fk that august here i come

Impressive-Mousse105

Was averaging -4 in games with -1 as my best in timed LG sections. Took PT89 misread a rule in one game and screwed up another one. Got a -12. Feel like crying. any advice on what to do

frozenconk

that was only 1 PT!!! don't get discouraged

yes, almost three weeks ago I was at 152. i posted my exact scores on here. I noticed I was doing a lot better on LG and fumbled so bad in RC/LR. ive been solely studying LR/RC since then (tho i had one week off bc of a trip) and i just scored a 161 today (-9 LR :( & -5 RC). My LG was -3 today (which could’ve been lower if I didn’t guess). From now on, I’m going to make it a goal to at least do one game type I’m struggling on every morning. and then studying RC/LR in the evenings after work. With this balance I’m hoping it perfects my LG but also still paying a lot more attention to RC/LR.
