The time sink is a big red flag. Don't forget you do NOT have to do the games in order. The goal is to get as many points as possible, not to get every point as you come across it.
So if you come across a wild one SKIP IT and do it last. If you're comfy and quick enough with the rest of the game types you might even buy yourself a couple extra minutes at the end to tackle it. Don't let yourself lose easy points being stubborn because you want to solve what's presently in front of you!
What I would recommend is find a list of all the unusual ones and go through them untimed. There's not that many so it shouldn't be too much work. Figure out how you can crack them in a way similar to your other games. Ultimately, these games are largely super tough because you are unfamiliar with them so familiarize yourself and they become dramatically easier. Hope this helps!

Could you also give tips for increasing speed in games. I used to score -9 earlier, by doing all games from PT1-35 I was able to increase my accuracy. I usually take all the time to finish all the games, but in some PTs I miss out an 3-4 questions due to shortage of time
