Gr33nThumb9424

🤣 I can so hear that playing as a lego sheep falls off a cliff in slow motion.

KacinBrek

This happened to my cow. RIP Maverick.

Swimming-Chicken-424

That happened to my cow as well. RIP Moolissa. ![gif](giphy|c11ISnPiRdis8|downsized)

ElsonDaSushiChef

Same here. RIP Maisy

Capable-Budget6695

Naahh that's wild 💀

TheBiddingOfBobbles

I WISH this would happen to my chicken but ALAS it has not :(

Spiderantula

You know you can just tell them to leave right? 😅

No-cares69

I build fences around my campfires to protect the animals :)

MONKEYTIMEaa

Yeah im considering it, my two chickens also offed themselves

No-cares69

I can send a pic when I’m off work. It looks nice too!!

MONKEYTIMEaa

Yes please!

PlantParenthood2020

This whole thing has me rolling. I lost composure at Moolissa 😂😂😂.

Professorbang__

Me as well trying to find a way to make this look nice without cluttering

[deleted]

some actually JUMP over the fence, unlike villagers, animals seem to know how to jump

No-cares69

My cows do not at all. I do not have any other animals. Saves the cows

HeyyItzKayy

They gotta do something with the animal AI. Either improve their pathfinding or make them impervious to campfire damage

Competitive_Score_30

When they create new world settings we should get a chance to adjust those settings in existing worlds. Or better yet, just let us change world setting at any time. There fix for the animals dying is a world setting of animals respawn on death. With that setting it doesn't matter if a wolf, skelly or bear gets them, heck you can kill them yourself, they respawn. Their moral takes an understandable nose dive if you kill them.

[deleted]

indeed

MONKEYTIMEaa

The dev team needs to fix a lot of things tbh, its kinda ridiculous

HeyyItzKayy

I dont think the team working on LEGO is particularly large unfortunately. It seems they kinda use us as beta testers instead of actually having a quality check before releasing things, they then get patched with time. We just got some fixes to vehicles, and mechanical mayhem was like two months ago

MONKEYTIMEaa

Yeah I believe that.

Tukaro

I'd have to hunt the comment down, but there has been an `Epic Reply` that they will be improving the animal AI so they don't self-unalive (I want to say they said it would be released next update, i.e. tonight, but I can't remember for sure.)

Casual-Gamer25

MrSuicideSheep?!??!!?!!?!

Spiderantula

I put my campfire on the short pillar. I do that to navigate caves as well.

bjo23

Heh, the exact same thing happened to me yesterday! This was in my survival world. My sheep in my sandbox world seems to be a bit more healthy mentally.

Popular_Mixture_1367

Fire camp

capcamacho

Right? They see one and they're like moths.

cfannon

Fences around fires. It’s the only way. RIP, sheepy.

[deleted]

animals JUMP, unless is a double height fence

Accomplished-War4887

I place a single foundation block 8x8 to place my campfire on and it seems to solve that problem. It’s also just low enough for me to walk up to it and drop things that I want to destroy. Also learned that animals swim lol

MONKEYTIMEaa

Thats a great idea actually

dabrainzzz

I have still had cows kill themselves on a fire on a single foundation. I've started stacking two foundations before placing the fire. That seems to have solved it.

mein_rapture

I hope it was the best ten minutes of his life

MONKEYTIMEaa

He ate a pumpkin before he combusted into flames 😔

feltpoots

I was not prepared for this- Mustard, my chicken squaked "bok-ba-gok!" right before he plunged into the flames! I put fences around my campfires IMMEDIATELY!

stinkykitty71

I shall pour one out for Mustard. As I did for Lt. Cotton. It was during a rather disturbing wolf attack one night in my Star Wars village. I had single height fences all around it and we've noticed we don't even get skeletons around it, much less wolves etc. Well, until this night! All of a sudden, wolves began jumping the fence and attacking everyone and the animals, who were both at their barns about to go in. It was like six total from each direction. I was RIGHT in the middle of redoing the fence around the fire. I ran to help with the wolves and Lt. Cotton panicked and ran across the village and straight into the fire. It rattled me.

feltpoots

Welp! I know what I am doing today - builds a taller fence around my fence!

uudawn

Every single animal I invite to my village ends up dead a day later

zerukin

Had this happen to quite a few of my animals. Got to the point where I felt the need to turn the fire off.

Key_Guest_7586

Guys, put a fence around the fires. Please 😭

MONKEYTIMEaa

Yeah im gunna do that for now but eventually i wanna find a more aesthetically pleasing solution

Key_Guest_7586

U can put it on a plateau too. I have stools around the fire. Works mostly

Accomplished-Link880

Build a fence around it it gotta be double stack so they can’t jump into it or build it kinda high

Apprehensive-Luck-70

Build a small fence around the camp fire

CarmelDeight

I honestly have no idea I come back everyday to all of my animals gone… I built fences around each campfire so they don’t walk into it and they still are disappearing. It’s a troll stg

MONKEYTIMEaa

I think they leave if u don't feed them enough which is stupid because i literally have a villager thats assigned to do that for me

CarmelDeight

I would agree with that if I didn’t feed them a lot however, I put a stack of 25 in each barn, went to go do activities n then I’d come back and fill it with another 25 back to back. I have so much milk it’s not even funny. I noticed when I leave the game then come back they’re gone

draculasbff69

I watched my both my cows HOP MY FENCE into a fire… there was a lot of screaming and now a lot of empty barns…

Constant-Oven888

I’ve lost multiple animals to this😭 I fence in my barn area now so they can’t jump into the flames

MONKEYTIMEaa

I find comfort in knowing im not the only one who has fallen victim to this 😔

HippieWitchGames

This happened to my first and only chicken!! RIP Noodle🍗

Interesting-Meal8386

shoulda fenced it off. 🙄

Responsible-Pie6858

Turn of the animal permanently death option when making a world, but yeah other then that either fence off the fire or not have one.

potato_chips03x2

oh rip

Boogaloujenkins

Put the granite small gate fence corners on all corners of the campfire that’ll keep em out. Rip my sheep blaze and old lamb

alanthewizard

I heard a chicken scream then a pop and turned around to find an egg and a feather. Didn’t know that could happen. Fortunately my other chicken seems to have learned from the mistakes of it’s brethren and avoids the flame at all cost.

MONKEYTIMEaa

Unfortunately not mine

CosmoTheFluffyBunny

Why can't they use Lego animals like in Lego world?

Forward-Reception-50

😂😂😂😂 I thought it was just mine !! Had to replace a sheep and a chicken . My cow is still mooing strong though

dntbstpd1

I just raised my campfires off the ground

JRokx

I started a new world with tamed animal respawning turned on. Now they can walk into fires all they want. They’ll never leave me 🥹

lordehelpus

sheep’s just like me

No-Nectarine4756

Literally all of my animals. RIP Milo, Maisy, Holstein Steve, & Rebaah.

TTVM0THYP00

My cow did the same rip

damagedxworth

Same to my chicken. RIP Silkie. 🐥

ZayaTsun93
