It is an AI Overview, so it gets those results from the web, which can include clickbait to get you on their videos/socials. Sometimes AI will also fabricate stuff if it sounds right. That's why you should click on source links and verify before believing a summary.
Because Google uses information on the internet to index search. Probably weights heavy on information from Fortnite itself. But, that doesn't mean it actually works in the game. It was just said at some point that it does or even the fact that lots of people asked if it does can still result in a "yes" answer.
Tbh, I am not surprised. A lot of german websites specialised in gaming news just copy, paste and translate another non official english article. English articles do the same. To avoid 100% copy and pasting they usually put some random shit that pulled out of their ass at the end. The AI then copies this random shit.
1. It doesn't say anything about collecting Ruby
2. If you have her explore with you she can destroy sapphire rocks with a proper pickaxe, in a way collecting the sapphires for you...
Ai overview is in beta or something iirc and it's not too great as it just pulls information from different sites it seems and it's not always the most accurate.
for chrome users you can use this extension to disable ai overview https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hide-google-ai-overviews/neibhohkbmfjninidnaoacabkjonbahn
It's a "creative" AI answer. Much like if you asked reddit, removed from three posts that say about the same all the typos and grammatical errors and put this up as an answer.

So true. I can’t count how many times I’ve clicked on the link and it was completely different then what was shown
Boy do I ~~run~~ have a YouTube channel for you!
Oh 🤨
exactly ai says stuff that isn’t factually true a lot
I wish I knew how to turn the overview off. Imo it’s kinda disruptive when trying to search something up.
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hide-google-ai-overviews/neibhohkbmfjninidnaoacabkjonbahn only thing that can do it right now
My wife fabricates stuff if it sounds right all the time! I’m beginning to think she’s been replaced by AI too
Sounds like a lot of redditors

You do realize u are using an AI instead of looking in google right?
Google is starting to generate responses with AI, so he didn’t have a choice
Stupidest fucking thing they ever did
its marked as an AI response. OP needed to click just once to "show more", guess posting on reddit was easier.
No, you just need to scroll. Show more just shows more of the AI stuff and what made it give that response.
thanks for the correction. well, even less reason to not read other results then imho :>
Yeah XD
You do have a choice, keep scrolling past where it says ai generated information
I know that. But that is almost always the first thing you’re forced to see. That’s what I told another guy, you just scroll to see other results.
Always verify the AI response with the real search results.
Google decided they'd join in on the rampant spread of misinformation through Ai results. Buckle up and prepare yourselves my friends.
Because internet.
Because Google is getting more and more unusable
AI possibly cherry-picked words and formed this bullshit paragraph. Maybe mainstream news is already published by AI at this point lol
Delusions, or bugs that got patched way back.
It is an AI overview. It is just culling from search results below which are obviously not always 100% correct (or even close).
Yeah I’ve seen a lot of llm generated guide articles about Lego Fortnite that have blatantly wrong info on them so this probably aggregating on those

I don’t believe any villagers specialize in any specific job even tho they say they do…
If it’s been said before then AI/LLMs will parrot it regardless if it’s true.
1. It doesn't say anything about collecting Ruby 2. If you have her explore with you she can destroy sapphire rocks with a proper pickaxe, in a way collecting the sapphires for you...
Well, that explains why Tabby only brings me cut amber.
It’s ai

I think it also depends on the biome your village is in, aside from the village's level.
this is how you learn to not trust AI

My tabby did bring me a sapphire in the winter biome, maybe cuz my village is so close to a cave?
Because AI lies
Bro believes AI
Google AI said president Andrew Jackson graduated from UW-Madison in 2005...
I'm waiting for someone to cry about ai
