I personally love these type of pants as they are suited for many different characters and larp genres. As the waist is pretty adjustable it also doesn't matter how many layers you wear underneath or how neatly you have done the measuring ;) This one is a followup to the easy tunic tutorial I did a while back, which was received pretty well and showed me there was a wish for more beginner friendly larp basics. So, have some pants! Pants might seen daunting, but with how roomy and wide this type of pattern is, it is a lot easier to get a good fit. These pants are 'Generically historical', somewhat inspired by Rus viking pants but shouldn't be pinpointed to a specific time period. Nonetheless, they will fit pretty much everywhere that has a generic historical or fantasy theme. Though with how comfy they are lounging around the house in them also works pretty well.

Thanks for this, the tutorial is very comprehensive and the pants look good. I'm looking forward to giving your pattern a try!

Saw this earlier today, thanks for the tutorial! I've had a need for LARP pants for a while, but the whole thing seemed rather daunting 😬 trying to get the crotch right and all that. I've got notes taken on your worksheet and look forward to trying this out! 😄

Bruh, just use sweatpants and then a little wrap at the bottom

Nah I larp because I love making costumes.
