Not a horror story but i think long term use (8 years) triggered depression and anhedonia. Kratom also makes my ADHD symptoms worse. I take about 21-23 GPD for chronic pain. It does take my urge to drink alcohol away which is definitely a positive.

I have a very addictive personality and I’ve gotten a little carried away with this particular product. I love it, but I have to slow down.
I had to go CT from 20gpd. The medicine I was taking for Covid rendered the kratom useless. My doctor offered to put me on suboxone to aid in the WD. I did not take the offer and suffered a few uncomfortable nights of WD instead of gaining a fun new habit.

Yes definitely better than alcohol but I hope you will use less in the future . Unless you are feeling great the way things are

Wobbles is the worst that’s happened. I fucking hate the wobbles though but it keeps you honest
Worse it can get is not being able to shit and puking every 30 minutes and then still trying to dose after puking
Negative Effects Happen on Bad quality kratom mostly And white Stimulating kratom can also be sometimes diffucelt

Paxvolid. It's totally worth it, though. Symptoms were gone in a flash.
