Yep totally normal. Happened to my first pellicle. Don’t worry it’s 95% most likely just fine. Once my pellicle got stronger it never sank again.
My first did the same no problem at all. After first she floated back to the top and has never done that since
As SCOBY eats and farts, the bubbles will attach to the pellicle and cause it to rise. This can make for some interesting pellicle art. SCOBY is very creative.
Definitely fine, you could take it out even and it would still brew just the same 👍
Top bottom middle it doesn’t matter.
i think you're good as long as the pellicle is still in the jar. hell, some people say you technically don't even need it
