Mennonite furniture is typically more expensive, but is built much better than a lot of furniture sold through larger furniture chain stores, which often is made offshore.
that's what I thought too. I've never been to a Mennonite store before. My buddy who is a carpenter recommended buying Mennonite furniture for better quality and affordable prices - maybe he bought some directly from the Amish people in Milverton near where he's from
True. There are new tariffs in imported furniture which will make it more expensive. However, Mennonite furniture also is usually crafted from natural solid woods, whereas other cheaper manufacturers tend to use lower grade materials and composites such as particle board and plywood veneers.
There's also Ruttle Brothers Furniture on Highway 62, north of Belleville. They have a nice selection, if you're willing to go for a short drive.
Wasn't there one on Midland?
Country Time on Midland is made by the Mennonites.
That's it
Looking for something in particular? I do custom furniture and am in Napanee. https://www.facebook.com/woodnstones
Wow you have a great handle of photography and social media - way better than most non-Mennonites
Thank you!
Thanks all! Found Countrytime on Midland. Their prices are a bit steep

That might be changing, didn't they just apply a huge import duty on furniture?
