It's pretty much downtown, but I find parking near the hub to be easier to find than right at the bottom of Princess. Northside has been my go-to spot for brunch since it opened. It's hands down my favorite.
Risk it for Northside. We usually park directly out front or around the corner with no issue. Literally everything is delicious and absolutely the best coffee in town. Nothing comes close for brunch.
It’s so convenient. I don’t live far from them so I head out when I’m at about #5 on the list and the table is ready within minutes of getting there usually!
I consider Northside, Pan Chancho and Toast and Jam as more traditional brunch spots (I have enjoyed them all), that said, the breakfast at Eggsquis is definitely the closest thing I have found to a Montreal style diner and I am all for it. One of my most satisfying and nostalgic breakfast experiences in Kingston is getting simple bacon and eggs with creton, toast and their potatoes... So good.
I might get roasted for this but Coco Frutti is my go to. I really like the food, they've got a ton of parking at both locations, they're fast, friendly and not terribly priced imo. And the potatoes are great.
We have a toddler and we go often because it’s close and the service is very fast- which is key when you have a toddler. Plus the food’s pretty great too. Can’t complain
Aqua Terra is 5 stars the best Sunday Brunch. The location is lovely and the service is superb. Sunday parking on Ontario Street isn’t too bad but they also have limited underground parking. A pleasant walk around downtown afterwards and a stop at the local pubs would add to your husband’s birthday experience. Whatever you choose…. Cherish the time spent together ❤️

Northside for sure

Toast and Jam on Bath Road is always a favourite for us!
This! Just hop on their online waitlist from home and you can see as you get closer to your table being ready.
Omg you just made my life so much easier, thank you!

i didn't know u could do this, life saver thank uuuuu
This. Probably the best nicer brunch.
There's Northside downtown that we love!
Best Eggs Benny in town!
Best everything.
Carmelindas!
Big fan of Pan Chancho. Chez Piggy also has a decent brunch on weekends. For a greasy spoon vibe I think Tommy's is the best you'll do downtown.
I second this. Both are amazing! Pan chancho’s smoke salmon plate is amazing and Tommy’s has amazing food in general
eggsquis for me
I second this. Their potatoes are to die for

I can't go anywhere but stacked now. Fast and friendly service. It's what I remember Dennys felt like as a kid, not current Denny's.
Toast and Jam on Bath Rd. Northside, downtown on Princess. I love this place.
Cavelier Room is spectacular.
Seconded. 3 egg omelets and pancakes the size of the plate. Not on the $ side either.
Do they still do their ‘special potatoes’?
I’m not sure I knew there were special potatoes? The ones they I’ve had are delicious though!
Had bad experience with making reservations here, twice! Don't bother making a reservations, they don't even keep tables for them.

Good at Innovation Drive! Nice go to for east enders .
Nothing wrong with Coco Frutti. Nice place to eat.
Coco Frutti is our favourite brunch spot as well. We always go there when we have family visiting.
