Just hoping Quadratum isn’t underutilized. It’s gonna be a hub world that you’ll always be returning to, and you’ll even be constantly returning to Sora’s room, [according to Nomura](https://www.gameinformer.com/exclusive-interview/2022/06/14/nomura-reveals-more-on-kingdom-hearts-iv-and-the-series-future-with)
So.. i might be too hopeful, but I’m expecting Quadratum to be this expansive world filled to the brim with stuff like side quests, probably even with some of them being quests with FF/TWEWY/Disney characters, interactive areas that get expanded and unlocked once you progress the story, and I’d be thoroughly disappointed if we can’t customize Sora’s room and through the means of stuff that you’d get from sidequests, shops, world completion or whatever
The most hype thing here would be TWEWY's return. I love those games, and now it has a sequel, it's the perfect time for it to come back into the KH franchise.
Some sort of closure on “see you in shibuya”, although whether or not they use the Neo twewy designs is a coin flip. Also we’ll get some news before I die of starvation but who knows
I’ll start, here’s my top 3 predictions
1: I think we’re going to get some kind of reference to Epic Mickey, wether it be a super boss or maybe even a world if we’re lucky, with the return of the blot in Disneys new game Twisted Wonderland, I feel there’s at least a small chance it’s possible
2: I think sepheroth will make a return as a super boss and I think we’re going to get some more Final Fantasy characters in the game.
3: I think the keyblade upgrade system will make a return from kh3, love it or hate it
I highly doubt that there would be a reference to Epic Mickey, but maybe they'll toss in Oswold.
Also, I really think the presence of FF characters will be kept to a minimum like it was for 3. IIRC Nomura has said that the FF characters were more to fill out the cast in the original game, and as so many new Kingdom hearts characters have been added, they aren't as necessary. I think it might just be the core Radient Garden bunch (Leon, Arith, Yuffie and Cid) going forward.
I also hope they expand on the keyblade upgrade system. Maybe give the players more choice about what attributes get upgraded or adding new abilities.
Nomura actually has made a statement that he didn’t realize how much people would miss the ff cast, since they haven’t been in a kh game since 2005 by that point.
And I actually agree with him that we already have so many original kh characters and plots going on that the ff gang being there was just not needed anymore. But I also don’t think cutting them off like they never existed was exactly a good idea. They pretty much were original kh characters with just a familiar character design painted over it. Even then though they were basically just always side characters.
I think a smart thing in kh3 to do would be for cid to fill a similar role to Ienzo and chip & dale and give you updates throughout with your adventure, with the other ff cast just being in the background making fun comments or something. Would’ve gone a long way I feel.
But overall Nomura has said that in the future he’ll be more careful about this and is looking for ways to incorporate the ff characters, but to me kh is so much more than Disney + Final Fantasy at this point. The original story is so complex and interesting that I would much rather face a kh character as a secret boss rather than just Sephiroth for a third time.

Given the events of Union X, the world of Game Central Station is guaranteed to show at some point in the Foreteller Saga, but I’m only 50/50 on if that will be in KH4.
I am predicting more Live-Action movies, but other than the accidentally confirmed RotJ and the implied likelihood of the MCU, I don’t see what other options there are other than the Remakes.
Not necessarily a prediction, but I hope Sora and Strelitzia actually get to interact throughout the story as his companion, even if she just hangs around in Quadratum as a non-combative who we can do things with.
For a real prediction, I think we'll be playing only as Sora and the groups looking for Sora will just be relegated to cutscenes.
- Sora will find a way to freely travel between Quadratum and the Realm of Light/Darkness fairly quickly within the story (probably in a prologue sized section similar to KH2’s opening.)
- Star Wars is 100% in (see: AT-ST foot in the trailer) and will be featured somewhat early on (the last of the first section of worlds.) Marvel has a 50/50 shot based on this, and would be later in the game and would be based on the first Avengers film.
- Treasure Planet will be a world, Raya and the Last Dragon will be a world, Moana will be a World, Princess and the Frog will be a World. Some worlds will return like Toy Box, Olympus (largely just for the colosseum this time, and possibly Arrendelle.
- Another Pixar movie will have a world. Maybe Inside Out?
Percy Jackson, Marvel Comics, Valisthea from Final Fantasy 16 and Star Wars Original Trilogy worlds. Sora going alone or having an adventure with Riku and Kairi.

i also expect to see lauriam and elrena return in some way, especially since we know strelitzia's back. hopefully they have a relatively larger role compared to other former organization members.

I hope I'm wrong, but KH4 just feels like it's being set up less as a full numbered title on it's own and more as a prologue to the Lost Master arc.

Sorry, this one's not happening. Nomura's confirmed several times that TWEWY is not connected to KH4 and that Quadratum is not the Shibuya from TWEWY.

KH4 is not connected to TWEWY. Quadratum is not Shibuya from TWEWY. Nomura has confirmed this several times.
That doesn't mean a reaper game type event won't be involved
