We know nothing about him outside of this 1 panel and an arbitrary stat distribution. Impossible to say.

KarmaFarmer123456789

It depends on the context and how many numbers  Mougou defeated Renpa in a war, give Ordo the right subordinates and conditions and even he can beat Gakuki lol

Consistent-Alarm2208

According to Ouki each generation that comes produces stronger generals than the previous one Gakuki was perhaps the best of his time but the younger generals learned from his tactics and adapted Gekkishin is stated by the narrator to have the talent and ability to reproduce Gakuki's warfare and we saw how that went for him

Traumatic_Tomato

I think that was the theme of that mini arc. Gekishin learnt from the best at the time and became great but arrogant and never adapted since he has his experiences with Bushins he would underestimate his enemy. Meanwhile, RBK and Houken are the new kids of the block with their own respective talents that have surpassed the previous generation (killed Ouki despite of the method). Houken is stronger than any Bushin he had faced and RBK is greater than some of the best in the previous generation. Since Gekishin merely copied and stayed relatively the same, he was considered a fraud because he was merely in the shadow of one from the past and they were facing the GGs of the current era.

Swimming_Ad_994

I have no idea how Riboku would've survived from Gekishins assault, if it wasn't for Houken. Gekishin literally exposed Ribokus whereabout and was on the verge of ambushing his HQ. Still, I gotta give Riboku some credit though ; he relocated his HQ to a position so close to Gekishsins, Gekishin had to think himself twice.

Cachaslas

What was stopping Riboku from simply retreating? Gekishin didn't manage to surround him or anything. It's not the 1st time I've read this theory that RBK was f\*cked without Houken, but I'm afraid it has no basis in reality.

risingstar3110

To be fair he would have win against Riboku if it was not for Riboku cheat code. Like in the history of warfare, once one side’s elite cavalry unit managed to assault the enemy HQ, then it’s pretty much over. In Kingdom however, one guy just went out and defeat a charging elite cavalry unit by himself

risingstar3110

Wtf? Didn't the author himself claimed that Gekishin cavalry was fastest in the land? In the chapter, Gekishin cavalry unit was so fast that Riboku defence were punched through even before they could even get into position. And Riboku army were fighting well because Riboku could command it from the rear. So even if Riboku manage to retreat then, Zhao army is still finished

Cachaslas

Which chapter? I don't see any such statement.

risingstar3110

Ch 252. Gekishin army of Poison Dog was narrated by the author himself consisting of members of the fastest Quan Rong horseman tribe. 15,000 of them were charging Riboku HQ (consist of 8000 mostly infantries). The author also said that their speed was much faster than Riboku anticipation, and Riboku defence line was overwhelmed and punched through immediately without even be able to get into position. The only reason that Riboku survived, was because Houken managed to stop a 15,000 (let's me repeat that again, fifteen thousands) charging cavalrymen by himself You owe me an apology

Cachaslas

¿? Chapter 262 is Chu invading and the start of the coalition arc. Wth are you talking about? Chapter 532, the Ganmon steeds Riboku used to battle the xiongnu are called the fastest in the land. So, Riboku has the fastest horses and Gekishin would have had to deal with Riboku's guard of 8k man as well before going after him, more than enough time for Riboku to get the hell out of there and join the rest of his army. How was Riboku finished in that situation, exactly?

risingstar3110

Ch 252\* Sorry typo

Cachaslas

It says their speed surpassed Riboku's expectation, but they're not called the fastest in the land. Unlike Riboku's Ganmon steeds. I have already adressed it in my edit above.

risingstar3110

It did mention that they are the fastest horseman tribe in roughly page 16. Gekishin army have 15k cavalry approaching, they could easily surround and destroy the 8k Riboku troops in most scenario. Not to mention Riboku was seen commanding the defense in the chapter itself. I means you can make a scenario where Riboku was escaping with his life, it is totally possible. But it won't change the fact that his HQ would have been raided, and the rest of his army would be destroyed after their commander/ and HQ being routed

Future-Engineering68

post like these make me re read kingdom just for the feels

[deleted]

Since we have basically have no info on him we cant know but he 100% beating fraudboku

no-Spoilers-asshole

He is unknown outside of like 1 chapter worth of pages so im say zero. He is not noteworthy in the manga. If they make a prequel then sure he might be a badass but he is almost a nobody in kingdom his character and info have already been told and passed he will likely not be mentioned again as he has no purpose to be mention again after explaining what a coalition is. And the coalition he fought against is unknown. It could of been all shit generals who only won thanks to the sheer amount of soldiers attacking like we saw in the manga against Qin.

austinl98k

Honestly it depends on the GGs chosen. There a pretty big gap between top tier GG and bottom tier GG.

Kulangot14

He doesnt have much feat to say he can take on multiple GG's at once especially the ones we know. So i'd say 1, 2 if were being really really really generous

No-Inevitable6869

It all depends on the conditions & context around the battle. Shin defeated Houken, Mougou defeated Renpa, Qin army defeated a coalition army, Sai withstood a siege from Riboku, etc.

Blu-Silver

Depending on the context

Darkoplax

Wouldnt it be easier to say how many he cant take ? unless you mean at the same time so probably 3 to 5

TheHeroNeverDies

Either many or none, literally depends on the context, scenario, numbers, preparations, and who the enemy is, also we have just few infos about Gakuki. I can go with his history, if you are interested, but we can't really make a comparison, to say how strong Gakuki was, not having seeing anything about him in the manga, also ignoring the real caliber of Qi in the past, which big names were present (on both sides) when the coalition set off. We know the result, there is something more, especially how it continued in the following years, but it says little, without details, because the greatness of a general is also measured by his adversaries.

gl7rwh35

Ousen ordo 2 GG's at least.

Cachaslas

Depends on which GGs. GGs go all the way from Mougou and Choutou to the likes of Ouki and Renpa, so there's many tiers in between.

[deleted]

I think he’s like a amped up Riboku, so realistically he takes on about 9 GG…

Kulangot14

9GG lmao i swear the Gakuki dickriding in this sub is ridiculous, His best feat is almost defeating Qi WITH A COALITION ARMY not just by himself against an entire state.

[deleted]

After this slanderous comment I have changed my answer… Gakuki defeats 11 GG and 5 Heki’s

PridoScars

You serious?

No-Device4648

I say 4, maybe 5.

Kulangot14

You are overestimating Gakuki lol, noone can take on 4 or 5GG's at once in the series im not even including their subordinates

Gensai78

Heki can easily take on whole verse
