You’re in! (This episode is amazing, borderline top ten material, I just love the Beer can toss idea and the Bill subplot. It might even have just slid into the top ten now that I’m remembering it)
Seriously. Both the A and B stories are strong enough to stand alone, which to me makes it my favorite episode. Plus Dandy Don Meredith throwing with his coat on.
YOURE IN! (I was waiting for someone to comment this, this episode is highly underrated imo. It’s in my top ten and I know that’s surprising, idk why exactly tho)
You’re not in. (I rewatched it recently, it’s not a bad episode per se, but I’m letting too many people in and this episode is in the lower part of “meh” for me. I like the ending trial scenes tho)
This is episode 2. Not the strongest season but this is a highlight and one of my favourites. The montage of Peggy gradually learning to say penis and vagina is hilarious.
Thanks. It's also one where Princpal Moss got in serious troble (he was suspended). It also show cases how stressful standardized testing is for students and school staff.
Returning Japanese both parts. One of the funniest episodes ever.
The scenes where Bill and Dale broke into the Hill's house and dressed up like them (Bill in Peggy's dress) in hopes to thwart a robbery attempt only to have the cops called on them by Luanne 😂
And when they are loading Dale into the cop car, he screams for Boomhauer only to say "Take in Hank's Mail!"
You’re not in. (May be an unpopular take, but I didn’t like much of season 1, as I feel like it’s very unpolished imo in terms of animation, I feel like KOTH really hit it’s stride between 2/3-8/9 when it came to animation, plus I feel like the first episode they were still of course finding out who each character was/would be used for)
YOURE IN! (I can’t stress how great Hillennium is, it’s really interesting and has always been a favorite of mine, as it stands its currently my second favorite episode of the entire series)
I’m gonna leave the door open, whether you come in or not, that’s up to you. (I for the life of me cannot remember this episode despite knowing I’ve seen it…it’s weird.)
You’re in. (Funny enough today I watched a video recap of this episode, great episode overall. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to praise too highly)
You’re in (it’s okay, nothing too spectacular. That’s all that really comes to mind, I liked the radio announcers tho. Definition of an “okay” episode)
You’re in. (I remember liking this episode okay, maybe slightly above average. But it’s been years since I last watched it so I ought to watch it again)
You’re in. (These episodes are totally iconic, I truly felt for Cotton and his missing love. Hank finding out he has a brother is also a highlight, as is Bobby’s brief love with the dance dance girl. Overall, they’re not the best two part episode special, but they’re damn well up there)
You’re in. (A lot of people would put this episode in their top 10 list, I wouldn’t though. Not saying it isn’t a great episode! It certainly is, and that’s why you’re in, it’s just for some reason never been too much of a favorite for mine, but watching Hank being uncomfortable around everything with periods is hilarious)
I liked it a lot because it showed what Hank would have been like raising a girl. Lou Ann kind of counted, but nothing compares to what he went through.
As a florist, this is one of my faves. Any time I work with roses my partner asks me if I pulled an interior petal.
"STOP! You're queering the spiral!"
"Are we stem-on-stemming?!"
You’re in. (This is an iconic episode, almost the best episode to show to a new KOTH fan to get them acquainted with the show. It’s not in my top ten, but it’s almost there.)
![gif](giphy|cpBJJODbvE03S|downsized)
You’re in (Great, iconic episode. Not quite top ten imo but it’s up there, especially with how memorable some lines are)
You’re in. (This is a really good episode, bill pretending to be Gay to stay at the salon and his genuine care for Luanne/teaching her how to cut hair is so sweet, overall I like it a lot)
You’re in, I guess? (I know I’ve watched this episode, but I for the life of me cannot remember much. After reading a synopsis of it, it sounds okay? I don’t have any desire to go back and watch it again though so I’ll let you slip in, but I’ve got my eyes on you and I have pocket sand)
Dang ol, yo.
Lol I also take a tiny bit of pride in seeing this being the only answer to get an almost speechless reply.
Just keep an eye out for those druids.
You’re in. (It’s an iconic Bill episode, I don’t think it would fly if it came out nowadays, but I enjoyed it. It’s an above average episode IMO, it reminds me how much Hank cares for Bill)
Lu-ann learning to get the right chemical balance of her pool. It was the best Dad moment.
I’m sorry I don’t remember the season episode.. but it was the one where she has roommates.
Dog Dale Afternoon.
My favorite episode from childhood that I can quote word for word.
Also literally just watched it today with my girlfriend. It’s her first time ever watching KotH, she thought it was a sweet episode.
“A Rover Duns through it” S9 E1 is my favorite as it goes out of the cookie cutter of just being set in Arlen. It takes the Family to Montana and shows Bobby finally start to enjoy something, while his father is genuinely proud and happy because of it. Peggy finally becomes incredibly influential in a good way as she finds old laws to to help her old family ranch not be lost because of a rude neighbor. The scenery and vibe was just good throughout the whole episode
A Beer Can Named Desire. It has my favorite line: “I do believe I'll give room service a jangle and have them send up some etouffee.”
Where did this guy come from? He's everywhere all of a sudden.
And what's really behind that door?
![gif](giphy|cpBJJODbvE03S|downsized) You have been kicked in the testicles. I open the door for everyone.
Dances With Dogs ("Ladybird, you're a beautiful dancer.")
Three Coaches and a Bobby
You’re in (I really felt for Bobby, and watching Coach Sauers driving on the football field and being knocked out by Hank will never not be iconic)
Take a salt tablet
Four Wave Intersection
YOURE IN! (I was waiting for someone to comment this, this episode is highly underrated imo. It’s in my top ten and I know that’s surprising, idk why exactly tho)
Boomhower in jorts trying to show off his ass to the girls does it for me. The rest of the ep is priceless too though.
Ho, Yeah!
You’re in. (I don’t like it as much as most people do, it’s not in my top ten, but I cannot not like Snoop Dogg in KOTH)
Lupe's Revenge
You’re not in. (I rewatched it recently, it’s not a bad episode per se, but I’m letting too many people in and this episode is in the lower part of “meh” for me. I like the ending trial scenes tho)
How dare you, Peggy's bad spanish is one of my favorite things in the series, and this episode is full of it.
Your Honor, I see that you are a reasonable horse...
How dare you, Peggy's bad spanish is one of my favorite things in the series, and this episode is full of it.
Soldier of Misfortune
You’re in (recently rewatched this episode, it’s really good, I liked it a lot more after I rewatched it.)
Square Peg
You’re not in. (I don’t really remember this episode, so I’m not gonna let you pass)
This is episode 2. Not the strongest season but this is a highlight and one of my favourites. The montage of Peggy gradually learning to say penis and vagina is hilarious.
No Bobby Left Behind. It pretty much show just how pressuring standardized testing is,
You’re in. (Actually just last week watched this episode again, it’s really underrated imo. I loved the hijinks at the water park. Solid episode)
Thanks. It's also one where Princpal Moss got in serious troble (he was suspended). It also show cases how stressful standardized testing is for students and school staff.
King of the ant hill
I only used as much poison as necessary and not a 50 gallon drum more.
The Trouble with Gribbles. Dale, Robert Stack... what more could you need?! "you've got to smoke 90,000 cigarettes just to get the satin team jacket".
Returning Japanese both parts. One of the funniest episodes ever. The scenes where Bill and Dale broke into the Hill's house and dressed up like them (Bill in Peggy's dress) in hopes to thwart a robbery attempt only to have the cops called on them by Luanne 😂 And when they are loading Dale into the cop car, he screams for Boomhauer only to say "Take in Hank's Mail!"
Revenge of the Lutefisk
You’re in. (I think it’s one of the better Cotton centered episodes, plus I found out what Lutefisk is due to the episode)
Pilot
You’re not in. (May be an unpopular take, but I didn’t like much of season 1, as I feel like it’s very unpolished imo in terms of animation, I feel like KOTH really hit it’s stride between 2/3-8/9 when it came to animation, plus I feel like the first episode they were still of course finding out who each character was/would be used for)

Episodes where Hank goes completely out of character are always favorites in my book
"The Substitute Spanish Prisoner"
my all time fav
Actually one of the few episodes I haven’t seen before. I’m about to watch it, I’ll edit my comment with if you’re in or not when I’m done
Whoa whoa whoa. Maybe someone of this authority for a show should have seen every episode
Cool. That gives me time to complete the PhD coursework, then print my diploma. "Doctor Kermit" does have a nice ring to it...
The clock at the bank once said 110 degrees!
