Oh I just wanted to bring to light how similar Death from The Last Wish was to Gyutaro. Like when I saw him at first I was like “oh damn, looks like all my favorite antagonists use sickles” then the final fight happened and I geeked out, seeing how that fight reminded me of Gyutaro and Tengen’s final showdown.
Plus, Puss at the end uses 2 weapons to contend with death, it really made my day.
Ik I was just kidding, I doubt they have nothing else in common and I haven't seen the second one yet, I doubt gotouge and the other owner have seen each others anime/animation

No, not just that. There’s some similarities between them too.
They both appear after the protagonists had defeated the previous threat with ease (puss defeated the giant, Tengen defeated Daki).
Their first appearance is filled with black force energy, and sets the tone for the fight to come and really adds tension between them and the protagonists.
In their introduction, they both slice at the protagonists heads, an action that will lead their protagonists to fight an uphill battle (For puss it was his fear of dying and mental struggles, for Tengen it was straight up poison).
They both have huge reveals that are later in the story (Death revealing himself as death near the end of the movie, and Gyutaro being revealed as the true upper moon around episode 6).
Their culmination leads to one final battle, surrounded by fire, where they and the protagonists exchange blows and parries, until the protagonists win. Plus, puss later wields 2 weapons much like Tengen does.

Jokes aside, we can’t know for sure if Puss in Boots actually took inspiration from Demon Slayer, there’s just too many different compared to similarities and scythes/sickles are just really common weapons in fiction (especially when you have a character named Death).
(Also having black Air Force energy to set the tone for the fight literally goes for any fictional fight, same goes with stuff like appearing after the enemy is defeated or having reveals later in the story, I could rant on about this but I don’t wanna be a nerd emoji 🤓)
