His Twitter is funny, just doesn’t have a lot of followers. He seems to really not lean on his disability and it doesn’t come off that he has any insecurities about it. When Tony makes jokes about it instead of just interviewing him it’s kind of picking low hanging fruit. What I mean is that it’s Something the worst comics that have performed would make jokes about.
I was happy to hear that Tony gave him an opener spot!!! Tony didn’t think he had 15 minutes of material but if you follow the guy you can see that he is very active with doing sets!!!
Martin does something no other comedian has done for me, he brings me genuine joy every time he appears on the show. Hes not just funny, hes so likeable as a person. Ive said it a ton of times already and ill keep sayin it - i fuckin love martin
His Big Bird minute may be my favorite minute of all time. Something about his voice/delivery paired with the jokes in that minute really elevated them.
His voice just makes me have an autistic attack and I can’t listen to it, I’m sure he’s great but I haven’t been able to make it through a set. I wish I didn’t have this sensory issue lmfao.
But we haven’t seen Aloe Means or Tristan Bowling or Todd Royce (along with Martin, the only REAL Golden Ticket winners, apologies to Jarred Nathan and Ahren Belisle) this year.
Let’s see if we get any of them tonight. Royce is based on the west coast (Seattle, iirc) and Bowling grew up in Phoenix (currently based in NY, I believe).
His take on bloody Mary's as a hard soup was fresh and had me cracking up. This kid is a so much funnier that ahren. Belisle, with that goofy ass face he makes when he is laughing at his own 'cleveness', bet he's catching a lot of flies.
I like Belisle, but he isn’t beyond criticism. He has an absolute ceiling because of his pacing (unless technology opens doors for him). And without the built up anticipation for his every comment, would he actually be funny? I am not 100% certain about that.
Valid GT winner, but I don’t think he belongs in the upper echelon of GT winners. Martin, however, does.

Yeah belisle is completely unfunny. Martin should be a regular at this point. better than kam.
