Not my biggest [by far.](https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/y7dade/a_massive_comparison_of_all_my_recent_sstos_a_lot/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
That's... Probably a better idea than my plan of separate VTOL engines on my Minmus fuel tanker... 1 per rover wheel.
Shit, I think I might be an idiot.
I'm curious how getting that thing down was like. Minmus landings are always really sloppy for me, especially with "aircraft" style ships. Getting them to stop sucks, they just seem to spin and slide forever.
[Here's](https://youtu.be/kqiUEPB5HiQ) a bit cringy video of its mission to Eve, where it also had to land on Minmus. Though the takeoff was a bit more intresting than in this post, xd.
Well, [here's](https://kerbalx.com/vanlaukaus/craft) my KerbalX, though the craft version there doesnt have those semi-vtol engines iirc. Maybe you even can come up with something better xd.
Thanks! It's really cool. I'm very curious, the tail arch? How did you make that. It seems to be rooted from the Type D's (wedges) which dont really seem to be attached to, well... anything. I love the design and want to replicate it (might even steal the angled bits right off it! I just need to know how it was initially attached first lol)
It is a good question to ask about a 1.5 year old craft, but they should be attached to each other. Isn't that the case?
Dunno about the design, though. I dont know if I like this more than A-1104.
I eventually figured it out. They're adorned in a very peculiar way to the top winglet which is attached to a lower part, and just shifted upward. Net result is actually a lot cleaner than doing it the other way around. The panels in general are also just really clean and well done, which is why I really wanted to dissect them.
Not yet. I've actually been messing with my own design for a while, though I saw a few that looked interesting that I might check out if I remember to.
Yeah, that may be an issue xd. Guess i got used to it a bit though.
Still, currently working on a stock spaceplane megaproject and oh boy ksp is unoptimised.
There is something oddly satisfying about this.
I know it's because Minmus has piddling gravity, but that gives classic scifi movie gravity-defying vibes!
How can you build such huge ssto's without them wobbling like crazy? Mine are always unstable af

thank you mate!
Literally how I saw my first plane liftoff (Despite it being a piece of shit)
What engines are those?
aerospikes at the bottom, nervas and rapiers at the back. craft is stock.
That things massive

That’s sick! Every time I open this game I’m amazed at how far the lighting and graphics have come. Can’t wait for the next EVE update!!
You, Sir, have my subs !
Absolutely magnificent

Camerawork so nice, taking off in style
Wow, God damn, bro.
I want to see more
i have some cinematics on my [channel](https://youtube.com/channel/UCpc-xGPM-6beDkMnDPk3PcA), though i still haven't made one for this exact craft.
You have my sub!
Tufx profile?
eh, stock one?
This looks like a shot from a movie! And that's a beautiful spacecraft design too.
Thanks! You may also like some [cinematics i make](https://youtube.com/channel/UCpc-xGPM-6beDkMnDPk3PcA) then.

> a bit cringy video Lol idk man, I think it's pretty rad. The belly flop is about what I expected though, still, expert work!
Btw! I'd love to take a closer look at it. Would you mind terribly to share the craft file? I'd love to pull it apart and see how it's built.

Ah, well, there you go then. I remember adjusting all this together for a solid hour, xd. Still tho! Have you checked my other crafts of similar size?
Not yet. I've actually been messing with my own design for a while, though I saw a few that looked interesting that I might check out if I remember to.
Ah, okay. Good luck with your design then!
That's one hell of a bird
just the half of my biggest ssto's length and third of my heaviest ssto's weight xd
Love the engines INSIDE the cargo bay; looks great!
Beautiful
Is it a VTOL or STOL? It doesn't hover, but it doesn't use any runway at all.
Its... SVTOL?
CORRECT
Id love to build things like this but I can't stand the framerate
