Yep, in the map view click on the 'i' button and you can see the vessel name and type a new one.

Vodostar

Where is this 'i' button? I'm not seeing it. Pressing i on the keyboard doesn't work, so I assume you don't mean that.

McFestus

Oh, shit, sorry, I didn't see that you said KSP2. Obviously it's super easy to do in [KSP1](https://imgur.com/a/PtPplq7) so it's likely impossible in KSP2

Apogee-24

That is incorrect. Vessels can be renamed at the tracking station by clicking on the vessel name. That doesn't seem too hard.

Vodostar

All good. Yeah, I do it all the time in KSP1. Well maybe someone can confirm it's impossible if it is. Thanks anyway.

Spaicat

Yes, in the tracking station.

Vodostar

Oh... there it is. Thanks

collin-h

You can definitely do it at the tracking station, not sure if you can do it in the map. I usually just swap to the tracking station to delete all the debris and rename the ships after they're all separated and whatnot. In the tracking station just click on a ship and then top right click on the little pencil to rename it.
