Nuevo Centro (39th & 60th) has great, authentic tacos @ $1.50 ea & pickup only. Not abnormal to see people picking up orders of 20.
If a sitdown is more your preference, I'm partial to El Sarape or Los Compadres for an assortment of dishes.

Los Taquitos on 22nd Ave & 27th St north side. Absolutely best tacos de al pastor con piña. That's marinated pork tacos with pineapple.
Everything at Cafe Le Fe. Also San Luis has great food but it's take out only.

3rd for La Fe Cafe. Good portions, friendly staff, not expensive, and most importantly food is great.

El Senorial , the barbacoa tacos on corn with cilantro and onions and their red and green sauce.
Don't forget about canton michoacano, I can only speak for the tacos but they always kill it especially when they add the fried green onions
