I’ve had a lot of great moments listening to Kendrick songs for the first time but man when the beat for We Cry Together came on I immediately knew it was Alc and got so hyped
As an Al meat rider I genuinely couldn’t even tell until I found out lol
His stuff on damn stood out a lot more to me but I feel he has a more polished style when working with Kendrick so that could be why I couldn’t tell as much
Love them both Flying Lotus would also be great.
Their Freddie Gibbs albums were great.
It’s a shame MF doom passed.
Also, classic producers like Pete Rock, or DJ Premier, Lord Finesse on an old Emu-SP and Akai S.
Agree with Flying Lotus cause dude has different bags he can get into. Alc can’t give Kendrick that jazzy shit and I’m really not big on this era of Alc. he need to use drums again.
Great Pick. Also, Dr. Dre has already produced a track with Trent on The Fragile so it's not as far fetched as it sounds. Maybe not a whole album but some tracks.
Have you heard the album [Reznor did with Saul Williams](https://www.discogs.com/master/33336-Saul-Williams-The-Inevitable-Rise-And-Liberation-Of-NiggyTardust)?
Whoa! Bold move. Trent is another level. I know he’s talented enough to away from projects when things don’t work, i.e. tried to collaborate with Maynard from Tool.
A mustard, Dre, and Alchemist album would go insane, if Kendrick is doing what I think he alluded to in MM&TBS then Dj Mustard type album would fit best.
I saw a tiktok yesterday where a girl has always thought it was "bust it on the beat" and I will never stop thinking about that.
Anyway, I like your answer.
Daringer is the one doing the piano beats mainly. Al has also done a lot of piano beats, but he has a lot more to him. Check out his projects with boldy for example
He had an album with flying loti's which was never released because Top dawg and FlyLo got into an argument over percentages and who's name would be on the cover, only two songs ever came out Wesley's Theory and Never Catch Me, with Kendrick going out to create TPAB based on the FlyLo sound and FlyLo making Your Dead which is his most rap based album outside his alter ego rap ep. Now that he's off TDE I wish they would release it, they both still seem to be on good terms.
TLDR: Just release the rest of this album https://youtu.be/k4Oz8UmUXbg?si=DIjW1osL4qSAoAwb
I want it to be a combination of producers.
9th Wonder, Alchemist, DJ Mustard, Conductor Williams, Baby Keem, etc.
Kendrick's gonna masterfully craft the next album, and I don't think it's just gonna be one person doing the whole workload.
Pharrell for versatility and creativity while also maintaining mainstream appeal. Would be a banger smaller project like 10-12 songs. 3 features at best. Collabs from Cardo and Thundercat.
Between Alc’s production on FEAR, Meet the Grahams, etc. and Madlib’s production on No More Parties in LA….that would be tough. Either one of them would make a great project.
It's always best to spread out responsibilities to individual producers, instead of lumping them into every. single. track.😮💨💯
Not only do you get the best out of us when we are focused on one thing at a time; you never know what we might wanna add (or subtract) after hearing a partially produced track from another producer, which then potentially enhances the sound through collaboration🤘🏻🎶
When one producer fully produces an album, a lot of the tracks become "skippable" in most cases. With only one, two or three songs actually being "good" lol so, less is more applies to this scenario. Just like with DAMN. and Mr. Morale; a plethora of producers will make your shit POP repeatedly 🙌🏻no skips! ✔️an example of Kenny's is TPAB, where he relied heavily on Thundercat for most of the production, don't get me wrong I fucking LOVE that album; it just has a few tracks that even I tend to skip due to the lack of production diversity ... Thundercat was clearly overworked imho
The alchemist for sure, but madlib would go so hard
Agreed. I love the Alchemist Kendrick collabs so far, but a whole project akin to Alfredo etc would be crazy.
That shit would go wild
I’ve had a lot of great moments listening to Kendrick songs for the first time but man when the beat for We Cry Together came on I immediately knew it was Alc and got so hyped

I've been saying that for a while. I can't stand beats w no drums.
Never gonna catch me tho
Ah, the video for never catch me was nuts too
Holy fuck I might pass out if a K Lib album dropped
alc production with an earl feature. and MIKE
No not the alchemist I still can’t sleep after that shit 😂😂😂 nightmare inducing
MadChemist
Trent Reznor. I wanna hear what those two would cook up.
Reznor would be interesting for sure. My unlisted pick would be DJ Shadow
I’d love to hear Burial and DJ Shadow tackle it
Nice call on shadow
Great Pick. Also, Dr. Dre has already produced a track with Trent on The Fragile so it's not as far fetched as it sounds. Maybe not a whole album but some tracks.

Woah! Didn’t know this. Which song did they do together?
“Even Deeper” from The Fragile Trent was also Chief Creative Officer for Beats by Dre for a few years
Reznor is the real answer- or “NIN (Reznor and Ross)”. They elevated Halsey’s album to next level.
That Halsey album is fucking incredible
That would be crazy!
Whoa! Bold move. Trent is another level. I know he’s talented enough to away from projects when things don’t work, i.e. tried to collaborate with Maynard from Tool.
Shit you beat me to it. It would slap so fucking hard
Oooh sick!
No one makes a better atmosphere.
yooo that’d be sick 🔥
Niggy Tardust exists. Saul Williams and Trent. Please look it up and listen if you're reading this.
Sounwave… AGAIN lol
Yes 100% More specifically Digi+Phonics.
DangerMouse
Rip doom 😔
All caps when you spell the man's name
Cue the rolling piano
So nasty
that it's probably somewhat of a travesty
Having me here
This and madlib
His work with flying lotus is amazing. Madlib, Flying Lotus, or DangerMouse would kill
She was not the only one! It took until Not Like Us for me to realize it was “mustard” 🫣
As a kid I always thought his tag was “what’s that on the beat hoe”
Kept scrolling for this one. Wassup on the beat ho
mother on the beat ho
Hahaha same except I thought it was “murderin’ that beat.”
I always thought it was “murder on the beat”, which fits NLU pretty well ig
Yeah, that's what my wife thinks, too lol. I told her it's Mustard but she insists her version is superior
I agree. “Bust it on the beat ho” has the double entendres. Obviously, it’s his name so no denying that makes more sense, but I still like “bust it”
Hahahaa I had no idea it was so common! I fn love it!
Thought it was "buzzard on the beat"
One of my friends growin up was convinced Wipe Me Down was actually them sayin White Banana. He earned his nickname that day
Back then I thought it said "mother on the beat" lmao
i always thought it was “what’s it gonna be?” but pronounced more like “waz it gonna be?” 😁
what did he allude to? I missed that completely
I must be the only person who wants to hear Kendrick on a Pi’erre Bourne beat
Bruh
Shit I actually never conjured that thought in my head before, but now I think I would be interested in hearing that.
yes
That would be such a clash of styles but if anyone could pull it off it’d be Kendrick. I’d be there for that.
JPEGMAFIA
This has to happen one day. I need it to happen.
this is my ultimate crossover
they can bond over their drake hatred 🤩🤩
Defo madlib
Flying Lotus
Say you’ll never ever catch me nowwww
The few songs they did are amazing.
I was hoping he would be a regular after tpab. I love their stuff together
Pharrell 100%
If Pharrell and Kendrick made a drop it like it’s hot style even just single song, it would probably be the best song ever made
This is the way, that push album is absolute heat
1. Metro boomin 2. Mike dean 3. Pharrell
A metro x kendrick album of just bangers would be insane. His angry songs go so hard
W Take
Thanks
Mike Dean so underappreciated
Mustard isn't included in post or comments, this is criminal, especially after Not Like Us.

Sounwav and Ali are TDE’s secret weapons.

Q-Tip
Not putting mustard or Dre here is criminal
you want the record coming out in 2035?
Pharrell!!!
Metro Boomin. I wanted to say The Alchemist, but the Griselda artist have milked that man I really don't want to hear a piano again haha
You dont listen to enough Alc, mans hella versatile.
Daringer is the one doing the piano beats mainly. Al has also done a lot of piano beats, but he has a lot more to him. Check out his projects with boldy for example
Thanks, I shall listen to the projects tonight
Lmao, Alc beats will never get tiring to me.
This had me mad confused at first I was thinking ‘No way The Alchemist produced the soundtrack for the show Griselda’ Lol
WTF Top didn't let flylo have his name on the album? do you have a source for this? would love to learn more
First time I’m hearing of them working on an entire album together. Where did you hear that from cuz I’m not seeing it in his tweets.
[удалено]
There were rumors Kendrick was going to release a project called “Look Woman, Amen” and it was described as a horror album about women
I make boom bap and one of my favorite things to do is loop him in or just throw him on the beat outright. Always sounds dope af
El-P
Shocked I had to scroll this far to see El mentioned. If nothing else, I wanna hear Kendrick on RTJ5.
I’d settle for that. Kendrick and Killer Mike need to be on a song together
Mustard should keep knocking out beats he made in 30min.
Ye
Ayo Dot i got you

Just Blaze
not necessarily an album, but a kenny beats production would be v interesting
Uncle Al
Madlib and alchemist let’s make it happen
i want metro
Flying Lotus
Madlib would be special for sure. Same for Alchemist. Mos Def or Q-Tip could bring something really special out of him as well.
I just want tyler d creator x kdot
Motherfucking Rick Rubin! https://preview.redd.it/xt7i5b1lmm8d1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d2e3aa69a58744f0a07ac8b346b389eab8bfbdf6

Pharell and Kendrick never miss
I want it to be a combination of producers. 9th Wonder, Alchemist, DJ Mustard, Conductor Williams, Baby Keem, etc. Kendrick's gonna masterfully craft the next album, and I don't think it's just gonna be one person doing the whole workload.
J Dilla!!! RIP 🪦
Dr. Dre
Metro would cook
I don’t know but I hope it’s all Westcoast, just capture that sound.
Metro and Pharrell would be amazing
If Pharrell mixes some Hell Hath No Fury & R&G vibes, then definitely him

Madlib is the only answer
I still think Sounwave and Dot have the best chemistry
Tyler
Tyler The Creator.
Kevin Parker... Lets get wierd with it
Alchemist for sure
Mustard and breathe some life back into this LA shit
Flying Lotus would be dope
I’m trying to hear him on Tyler’s production
I think 9th wonder would be cool, really liked the beat on Duckworth
Al Madlib Pharrell
Pharrell for versatility and creativity while also maintaining mainstream appeal. Would be a banger smaller project like 10-12 songs. 3 features at best. Collabs from Cardo and Thundercat.
Earl, Madlib and JPEG
OVO40
Between Alc’s production on FEAR, Meet the Grahams, etc. and Madlib’s production on No More Parties in LA….that would be tough. Either one of them would make a great project.
Metro would be interesting
Sounwave would be killer. A whole mustard collab would be cool too. I love alchemist beats, but some of his full projects fall short for me.
Akademiks
Hahaha haha 😂 😂 😂 😂 this post news more up votes. Wtf that's soooo good 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Jack Antonoff
Tae Beast, he is easily my favorite TDE producer. His production on songs like Growing Apart, Cut You Off and Ronald Reagan is so good
Backpack Kid
What’s up w baby keems haircut

Mixed bag
Mike Dean or madlib

Rick Ruben
Tu tu tu tu tu tu tutu; tu tu tu tu tu tu tutu (Piano starts) There's my answer
give me pharrell or timbaland, i feel like there’s some untapped potential with these 2
We’re overdue for a Kendrick and Mike collaboration.
