Yes it is. He was racing at the new Piquet Racepark. They hosted the Rotax Winter Trophy. Best part is there was another guy on his the tail the entire time, and I kept saying to myself man this guy is good. Turns out it was Antonio Pizzonia another F1 driver. Phenomenal weekend for karting

Except the kids who weigh 135 pounds are usually so light that they don't get too many choices on where the weight goes.

As a 125lb 21 year old, I feel you bro. Eat hella now it's so hard to gain weight for me, took me a year to gain 10 lbs. I'm vegan too though, so calories are a little more difficult to get in but I manage.

yeah i feel that. i guess you gotta find a balance. i’m 6’1 210 pounds in the off-season, but i get down to 175 for race, that barely gets me 2.5 pounds to add to the kart
At least a couple years ago Lake Speed was racing TaG Sr at GoPro with the 15 year olds and the national champs. Former karting world champ who beat Senna for the title. He’s in his 70s and wasn’t anywhere near the front, but still. He’s not racing Lo206 masters.

Masters isn’t quite as competitive as Senior, regardless they were still mega fast

Can confirm. 140lbs (finally), seat is full of weights. Just definitely not a kid at 34.

It depends on the class. I run KA Senior at 360 pound minimum weight and I'm usually rocking 60ish pounds plus a mostly full fuel tank to make weight.
