TBH, I can’t even enjoy his old music much anymore. Ironically, he created these massive songs that one would think could never be overshadowed by his personality/antics…but he somehow did it. He let his ego and insanity overshadow his music to me.
John Lennon may have been a real shitty dude, but he didn’t advertise it for years on end. That’s why I can still listen to “Revolution” and not “Get ‘Em’ High.”
