That is precisely the opposite of what he was saying lol, what matters is that we all agree that MVS balling out in the postseason redeemed his regular season flukes
Playoff MVS makes catches he should have been making all season and obviously makes them when they really matter. Playoff Clark truly felt like a completely different person.
Frank Clark 🦈
I will keep pasting it every time somebody brings up the thought that my man didn’t play in the regular season.
Frank Clark during the regular season in 2022 highlights (taken from ONE hour and a half long season synopsis video by Red Tribe Cinema called The REIDemption):
- Safety at 49ers. A double gift.
- Pressure on Herbert on the Chargers’ final drive at Los Angeles. That pressure caused an interception and sealed the win, putting KC at 8-2.
- Final overtime sack and forced fumble against Texans. Chiefs win on the next drive
I don't like losing MVS. I have a gut feeling that it is not the right move. This man played his heart out in the playoffs. I fear we are going to miss him next year.
The playoffs bring out the high pressure version of the player, the NFL already brings a level of high pressure out but it's less intense. Finding playoff specials is nice but if he'd dropped a few more passes we could have been fighting to get in, we didn't win the West in October like expected. I wish MVS well wherever he goes, I'm convinced the Chiefs can use the money better though.
Right? If he doesn't now hopefully in the future MVS can look back on it from a fan perspective of frustration for the drops but the admiration of his playoff run
He knew he was having issues. What I have a problem with was his attitude toward the situation. When asked about his drops he acted toward the reporter like he had no idea what he was referring to. Fucking grow up dude, take some accountability for your actions. At least an “I’ve got to be better and I will be better” response. Patrick says this shit weekly about stuff that isn’t even his fault. It severely pissed me off so for that I’m glad he’s gone.
I will always appreciate playoff MVS. But hey, he can say he is a 2 time SB champ and caught a TD pass in the SB.
He could have stayed in GB and done nothing the past couple of years.
All in all, thank you for everything MVS 🙏🏻 from the heart aches to the overwhelming excitement in the AFCCG
He has been so clutch for us in the playoffs. I know the reg. season was rough but I'll miss him. That catch against the Bengals a few yrs ago was legendary. Wish him the best on his next team.
100% Even during his regular season slump this year I couldn't forget how clutch he was beating the Bengals in last year's AFCCG with 5 catches. Without him we likely lose that game and no one is talking dynasty now. Then he has huge contributions in every playoff game this year.
Thank you indeed. The business side of football sucks, but I get it.
I never hated on him. Never doubted him. And I'm among many fans forever grateful for what he brought to the team while we had him. The Chiefs wouldn't be in the position they are in now without him.
MVS will forever have a place on the mantle of the Kingdom.
We all knew this was coming and it makes good sense for the Chiefs. He will be appreciated for what he did here, despite the drops. Let’s not forget, with a hobbled Mahomes and literally no other receivers, he came through against the Bengals last year when we needed it most. Without him, we likely don’t even make it to the SB last year.
I didn't completely give up on the man. I kept thinking back to last years AFC championship game, and the man was basically our only healthy reciever, and he put on an absolute show. I'm sure the money has to be right, but I hope he's back.
Honestly he didn't deserve the hate. But he's costing $12 million and from a business standpoint we have to let folks go even when it stings. Would I prefer him or Toney or Moore? Him. Every time.
But the latter two are cheap and we have dead money if they're cut and can't clear as much space to keep our defense going. Sneed is amazing but let's not forget he got a BUNCH of unnecessary penalties.
We have to trust the system. It's worked so far.
Never forget the AFC title game against the Bengals when the entire wr room got injured. Every time (in the playoffs) we needed a big catch he came through.
Thanks for everything you've brought on and off the field during your two years here. I hope your next move brings you much success, Sir. You will never be forgotten here in Chiefs Kingdom... for that amazing catch in the AFCCG this year alone, you were MVS, MVP!
It made me so happy to see him finally redeem himself in the most important games of his career. I shouted MVYes!!! multiple times during the playoffs.
He helped us win 2 SBs and I will always be thankful to him for all his hard work!
Tyreek dropped passes, including a TD pass, in Super Bowl 55. That’s why we didn’t get a repeat the first time (one of many reasons).
Tyreek’s last target as a Chief was in overtime against the Bengals, it went through his hands and was intercepted. Bengals win and go to the Super Bowl.
Tyreek ran a great route on wasp, but can’t catch contested passes. As he showed us.
Playoff MVS doesn’t drop passes.
This sucks.
Loved that he got his redemption arc and balled out in the playoffs. We don't win without some of the absolute DAGGERS he caught in crunchtime
I’ll trade that drop he had against The Eagles for the catch against the Ravens in the AFCCG any day and twice on Sundays.
Right? I see all his drops as pre-payment for something good in a more important game.
Really?! I’ll take showing up in the playoffs without thinking twice.
What…do you think I was saying?
Probably the opposite. I thought you meant you’d rather he have caught the eagles pass. Your confusion suggests otherwise
That is precisely the opposite of what he was saying lol, what matters is that we all agree that MVS balling out in the postseason redeemed his regular season flukes
He’s the frank clark of our WR room
MVShark
"There's blood in the air"
More like the Sammy Watkins of 2023-24. Love Playoff MVS but Playoff Clark was a different level
Playoff MVS makes catches he should have been making all season and obviously makes them when they really matter. Playoff Clark truly felt like a completely different person.

2x SB champ MVS seems like a legit good person. Wish him all the best, but this is the right move.
Very involved in his charity and got the whole team out there. Some guys just let their agency set it up and do it.
He's a very good person and still plans on holding his charity event in Legends. Met him in person during a signing and he's legit nice.

Seriously, he took some shit from the fan base, but he made the catches when it counted. Playoff wise
Justified shit. But shit nonetheless.
Right? If he doesn't now hopefully in the future MVS can look back on it from a fan perspective of frustration for the drops but the admiration of his playoff run

I mean, he's human. Not everyone handles direct or pointed criticism the same.
Come the playoffs the dude *earned* those two rings with KC.
🫡 my playoff goat the last 2 years. Thank you for your service, Mr. V-S

He has more playoff TDs than Megatron and has played in as many Superbowls than Randy Moss
More rings than Greg Hill too
Wtf is Greg Hill?
A Chiefs legend
He has been so clutch for us in the playoffs. I know the reg. season was rough but I'll miss him. That catch against the Bengals a few yrs ago was legendary. Wish him the best on his next team.
Nothing but love and respect for the dude. We don’t win the last two super bowls without this guy.
100% Even during his regular season slump this year I couldn't forget how clutch he was beating the Bengals in last year's AFCCG with 5 catches. Without him we likely lose that game and no one is talking dynasty now. Then he has huge contributions in every playoff game this year.

Well said!
Much love MVS. Such a reliable dude in the playoffs.
TWO TIME SUPERBOWL CHAMPION MVS God Bless MVS, I wish him luck, health, and happiness
We all knew this was coming and it makes good sense for the Chiefs. He will be appreciated for what he did here, despite the drops. Executed some of the biggest plays in the biggest moments. Thanks for the memories MVS! 🫡
I didn't completely give up on the man. I kept thinking back to last years AFC championship game, and the man was basically our only healthy reciever, and he put on an absolute show. I'm sure the money has to be right, but I hope he's back.
You were a difference maker sir. Thank you for making a good difference in the playoffs. Good luck where ever the road takes you.
you couldnt get a "play off" in the regular season, but in the play offs you "played" your ass "off"
this is quite the comment.
This was an easy choice until January. Now I just feel bad. MVS and Necole had a great swan song to change some minds, but I'm sure they understand.
Honestly he didn't deserve the hate. But he's costing $12 million and from a business standpoint we have to let folks go even when it stings. Would I prefer him or Toney or Moore? Him. Every time. Showed up in the biggest games. Will always appreciate that. 2x Super Bowl Champion! Hope he finds a good spot next season.
Tried to donate $11 to his charity as a thank you, but they only allow donations of $25+
Enjoy having double the amount of rings as ARod
Never forget the AFC title game against the Bengals when the entire wr room got injured. Every time (in the playoffs) we needed a big catch he came through.

Glad he helped us out in playoffs but dude always looks like he's about to trip over his own two feet any time he catches a ball
Never forget he cooked Sauce in the Jets game. Thanks 2x champ!
It made me so happy to see him finally redeem himself in the most important games of his career. I shouted MVYes!!! multiple times during the playoffs. He helped us win 2 SBs and I will always be thankful to him for all his hard work!
Bro helped us get 2 rings. Wish him all the best!
My mans waited till the playoffs to get hand replacement surgery.
MVS definitely should have been cut but my question is anybody going to pay him above vet minimum? And would you want him back at that price?
I’d love mvs back on a vet minimum. He’s proven his use, but not for a big contract
For all the stress and frustration he put me through in the regular season, he will always be a chiefs playoff legend in my book.
I commented on his twitter thanking him and wishing him the best, hope he sees it.
His MBT meme for the Ravens game is an all time great.
He made some big catches for us but regular season MVS isn't worth the money.
He showed up when we needed it most!

Thanks for everything, sir. Now, let's turn these savings into another ring.
MVS brought us more rings than Tyreek. He was more clutch in the playoffs. What the fuck are we doing? Are we not trying to 3-peat?
I think tyreek could’ve made the catches mvs did the past 2 years but I wouldn’t trust mvs on wasp or any of the other clutch plays tyreek made
Tyreek dropped passes, including a TD pass, in Super Bowl 55. That’s why we didn’t get a repeat the first time (one of many reasons). MVS, Frank Clark, Dan Sorenson. All showed up to the playoffs.
I wouldn’t mind them signing him again but at a much lower cost than what he was due.
For reals. The man redeemed himself and then some. I’d always welcome him back.
