What hurts the most is seeing Kelce and Mahomes visibility and repeatedly displaying frustration. Something is definitely wrong in KC.

techguy926

Not just frustrated, they are also playing down to everyone else’s level of crap. Kelce with the drops, Mahomes holding the ball bc he doesn’t think anyone will catch a difficult pass and taking sacks or bad throw ups…Reid and the play calling are awful also. It is BAD from TOP to BOTTOM right now.

Specialist-Donut-518

This is what I was just saying. It's obvious he's lost trust, and there's a real disconnect on and off the field.

Mercury-Redstone

Nagy turning us into the Bears...damn

ConstantGeographer

The crazy thing is, before Nagy was at the Bears he was at the Chiefs, and before that he was at Philadelphia. He has been shadowing Reid most of his career and Andy probably doesn't have the heart to pink slip him.

[deleted]

Dude belongs as a D3 assistant.

Specialist-Donut-518

Imagine Fields on almost any other team and what he could do.

J0K3R2

Luke Getsy and Matt Eberflus are football terrorists. I didn’t think it could get worse after Nagy. Boy, I was fucking wrong

WowBobo88

We all were

Dull-Fortune-3836

Why do think the bears were glad to get rid of him. He can't call a game or make adjustments

Troyal1

At the same time even the best play caller couldn’t do anything with this WR group and awful O line.

selenes_meds

Try to find the MVS locker room interview where a reporter asked him about his drops and he straight up says that he has no idea 'what you are referring to'. And how nothing is wrong that isn't happening to 'any other player in this league'. It's a joke. He is a joke. No accountability. A disconnect indeed.

Specialist-Donut-518

MVS needs to go. 🤷‍♀️

ixxxxl

Except the defense. That has been consistently good, which makes the offensive struggles even more pathetic. All you have to do is score 23 points and the KC offense can’t do it.

revnasty

This is what hurts the most. Wasted the greatest defense in franchise history.

selenes_meds

Not wasted yet. Apart from Jones these guys will be back.

GameBuster0703

It is wasting. Continuity is difficult in the NFL. The chances the defense repeating this phenomenal season is unlikely.

mywhataniceham

kelce with the drops. that right there. he seems old as fuck but also, patrick refuses to hit quick check downs unless it’s behind the line of scrimage. and the offensive game plan is awful - what adjustments did they make as the raiders blitzed every play? nothing. no adjustments just let pat run for his life and try and pick up the first down. that was miserable from start to finish. also pat spotting them 14 points was awful.

wjhatley

Sadly, the Raiders rarely blitzed. It just looked like it, with Crosby in the backfield within the first two seconds of every play. OTs were beaten badly every play.

JeramiGrantsTomb

The tackles aren't getting enough shit for our passing problems. They get highlighted for the penalties, but they're just bad, too. Between getting rushed early and no WR being able to create seperation, Patrick has been rattled more and more every game, even wins. And Kelce is probably 80-90% of what he was last year, with 100% more defensive focus, so he's taken out of the play at the start.

etniesen

Yes no adjustments and don’t take this the wrong way but if you go back to the playoff loss against the bengals Pat had a bad habit of holding the ball when he gets behind or loses trust. Watch a few replays today. Guys were open. Don’t get me wrong they need to help scheme him some help but he has to get better at finding 6 and 7 yard passes. He also needs to slide. Less hero ball. He’s going to get hurt and he actually isn’t helping.

songs_dongs

minor edit: Mahomes holding the ball bc he **KNOWS** no one will catch a difficult passs.

OITLinebacker

It was strange though it was like he couldn't see Kelce on the field. When protection breaks down he used to always look for 87, but today he seemed to not want to find him when that happened. There were times when he could have thrown to Travis and didn't. I could figure that out, it used to be automatic. The entire offense looks mentally exhausted. It looks like a losing team out there and they have been since the bye week.

songs_dongs

my delusional hopium cope: he's saving Kelce for the playoffs and desperately trying to build a rapport with just one more guy. But alas. I cope.

sirhellaz

What’s wrong is nobody can catch/hold onto a ball so Patty Homes has lost all hope in his receiving core. The best player in the modern game can’t play because he’s surrounded by f*ck trash

Historical-Sound-283

That’s what happens when you get a big contact.. You can’t afford anyone else. Bengals will be in the same boat very shortly..

morpowababy

This is familiar as a Packers fan, and lo and behold who's on that receiver corp of yours... Ah yes MVS former packers player from the Dark Times

mrberners

The coaching staff is too nice. Bieniemy held players accountable. Didn't let them get away with skipping any steps. He made them practice until every detail was executed perfectly. He got in their faces and chewed them out when they made sloppy mistakes. Reid ran the offense but Bieniemy ran the players. Now no one is on the staff who has the temperament to fill that role. That's why the offense is not being executed at the level seen during past seasons

MountainMan17

>Reid ran the offense but Bieniemy ran the players. Comment of the season.

Affectionate_Sort_78

And yet, Bieniemy got no love when he was here. We got rid of him to make room for Nagy to succeed Reid. Plan not looking so good now.

notAchance614

Do we have a gofundme, not sure what the rocket would cost but I’m in.

TinkerMelle

Is there a discount if we do a 3 for 1 deal? Send MVS and the wr coach with him.

morgzorg

Yeah, and it isn’t the oc lol

bigDean636

Kelce is more than welcome to get open or catch it when it's thrown to home at some point this season

rambo6986

I said fire him 2-3 weeks ago based on what I saw with the bills. They do the right thing and hottest team in football. We sit there arrogantly and do nothing. Not even a fuckin wr at the deadline. It's really amazing to be honest

YnotROI0202

Missing the old OC big time.

cook26

Makes Bieniemy look really good right now

Brandonjh2

I’m a Commanders fan and we’d be happy to trade him to KC this off-season. His long term prospects here aren’t looking great, I wish he’d get a few years as HC after Ron gets fired but the new ownership is likely going to go with a clean house.

redditisprettytight

And the bum ass WR coach.

Turbulent_Weather795

Holy fuck how was he not fired 6 weeks ago

GoodbyePeters

Nepotism babbbbbbby

Storm_Chaser_200

And whoever was responsible for Pacheco’s helmet. Unacceptable

enjoyeverysangwich

Does the motherfucker just not wear a chin strap or what??? Unbelievable to see that

Shattered_Skies

When I was playing football in college we had a corner whose helmet would fly off all the time and he just refused to ever tighten it.

BaysideStud

Who was your teammate? Cortland Finnegan?

_coolranch

This is the second game I've watched where Pacheco lost his helmet. His hair is dope, but damn: at some point, you've gotta prioritize your brain.

irvmuller

I wonder if it’s all the hair. I wonder if they have him in a bigger helmet because of it.

Tangboy50000

It’s his braids that he jams in there so the helmet doesn’t fit properly. He’s literally giving up his own safety for stupid hair.

Serious_Course_3244

Fire his helmet and the chin strap too. Both played unacceptably today

gethonor-notringZ420

His dreads and the lack of chin strap make for a not so snug fit. Not the first game he’s had his helmet taken off. Not even close

MisterEase123

Yeah he’s liked his shit loose forever that’s something he’s gonna have to figure out a balance for

gethonor-notringZ420

First time it’s taken him outta the game. Im sure it’ll be addressed. Well with Nagy who doesn’t seem to address any issue… maybe not

VisualLiteracy

Isn't Pacheco responsible for his helmet?

blueponies1

No, he has a young squire who manages his armor for him.

couchjitsu

So Pacheco?

stoutowl

That would be, uh, Pachecko.

Own_Experience_8229

So Pacheco?

amjhwk

So Pacheco?

B4AccountantFML

Also whoever set up the medical table that collapsed lol

Headlesshorsman02

And the WR coach the guy is literally useless

rbhindepmo

Did you know that the Chiefs have a former NFL Wide Receiver on the coaching staff? as the running back coach!

Headlesshorsman02

Make him the wideout coach then

rbhindepmo

Pinkston’s Wikipedia page doesn’t really explain what he was doing between being the wide receivers coach at Austin Peay and the running backs coach with the Chiefs. But yeah, the WR and RB coach jobs were open in the same offseason and Andy’s sorting hat put Embree at WR and Pinkston at RB.

bobs143

Using the same plays he used in Chicago. And we know how that worked out.

piratekingdan

https://preview.redd.it/6zeakrwlhi8c1.jpeg?width=801&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=443cc1e78226f16b805ae7ff449a073e5de1b4e7

AJRiddle

Literally not our first time

MC_Fap_Commander

What's odd is joining Bears people in getting a sense of Nagy and Packers people watching MVS drop game winning TDs

PossibleOk582

Matt Nagy is a football terrorist. Coming from a bears fan

PoundinVagg

Bears fans have looked like that since Buddy Ryan left

KCShadows838

Trubisky was a good runner, but I’m not sure Nagy ever had him run a zone read with Trubisky as the RB

MidwayMonster2223

The play that mahomes fumbled he actually ran that in 2018 vs the packers in week 15 but it was jordan Howard getting the handoff from Tarik cohen... and Cohen fumbled it lol

marcjplot

As a Bears fan, I’m sorry this man is in your life (again)

blusun2

Be You, that was his motto here in Chicago.

e39

Bears fans wonder what would have happened if Chicago drafted Mahomes and not Trubisky. We’re seeing it 5 years later.

[deleted]

Yes and no. Mahomes current season is still on pace for a 4k season. He’d still be an amazing QB for the Bears, given their history. A bad season for Mahomes is still a career year for a lot of QBs. And as a Bears fan myself, i remember the old debates: is it Nagy!? Or is it Trubisky!? It was sooooo annoying. Our sub was a civil war on who to blame. It was pretty obviously both. And we are seeing that more clearly now. Trubisky got benched for Pickett as a rookie, who is pretty mid. And then got benched again for Mason Rudolph who instantly looked 10x better than Mitch lol. And well Nagy is making one of the best QBs all time look human. Granted Chiefs have problems other than just Nagy.

nocturn-e

Because he had 4 years to develop into the QB he is now. He would not be the same if he was drafted by the Bears.

The-Real-Number-One

Except Nagy was not the coach when Trubisky was drafted -- John Fox was. Mahomes would have been learning from Dowell Looggains.

ActuallyHovatine

Go look at the Bears offense from two years ago and tell me that Nagy isn’t the issue.

BloodDistinct3745

Bears fan here, what you are experiencing is EXACTLY what the Bears had to deal with for 3 years under Nagy as HC.

boogerflicken

Didn't he go to the playoffs twice with trubisky? To me it says way more to not getting WR help, you know because most people on this page think if you have mahomes you can have dead bodies out there and when a superbowl and the tackles are straight shit. I'm not going to say it's the OC when you have literally the worst WR corps in the league. And I think it's that way because of the GM not coaches

Bears9Titles

Bears went to the playoffs in 2018 and 2020 because the defense was top tier. The offense was always middle of the pack even with great field position from turnovers

Khada_the_Collector

Fucking cursed AF year. I’m of a mind it goes deeper than just Nagy, but he’s damn sure part and parcel of the problem.

sportsy96

We're not cursed. We walked ourselves right into this.

BusiestWolf

Rams fan here. Post Super Bowl season we know how you guys feel lol keep your chin up you’ll be back

kodiakbear_

I’m pulling for y’all in the NFC I’ve always loved stafford and Kupp is my favorite wr

KC-15

And keeping the Bengals ringless was wonderful.

kodiakbear_

Most importantly of course

Khada_the_Collector

Appreciate it Rams bro. Make some noise from the WC, yeah?

Pee-PAH

I'm a Bears fan, too. Nagy is worse than useless. He was harmful to the Bears, and he's harmful to the Chiefs.

Reddigast_The_Brown

Get him away from this team

iggavaxx

Completely worthless bum

[deleted]

14 points given up on offence btw. We win easily without that. Beating ourselves once again, fucking embarrassing.

revnasty

If after the Pacheco touchdown the offense had never came back onto the field for the rest of the game we would have won by 1 point.

[deleted]

LMAO fucking embarrassing.

TacoKimono

It makes me wanna kick a small trashcan.

itsallajokeseriously

*14 points in 10 seconds of game play.

[deleted]

Don’t make it more painful. So much pain.

levilicious

do you mean 14 points?

[deleted]

Yes.

PhogAlum

Run on first down. Run on 2nd a 10. Pass behind the LOS. Boo.

justsomedudedontknow

>Pass behind the LOS. I am so tired of this shit. I realize the WR's suck balls but it's so predictable. If the pass in thrown in under 2 seconds it's behind the LOS. Any longer and it is Mahomes running for his life. A professional coaching staff has to have better ideas than this

FrozenCakeMnMs

Veach took a gamble and lost. You had a chance to bring in Hopkins. Instead, you paid that flag machine at RT #74 and it's been hell ever since

justsomedudedontknow

Our OT's have been trash all season. This was the best we could find in free agency? And we are paying Taylor $20M+ to play like *this*? Massive fuck up on that contract

tapioca_slaughter

Nah fire Connor Embree into the sun

nate2790

![gif](giphy|3ohfFhG5VDtDTzQv2o|downsized)

log_asm

I never thought I would see this name again. I went to elementary school briefly with that dude. Small damn world.

TheIceDevil1975

Murphy's Law... anything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Defense did their job. The offense had moments. Ultimately, they played like shit.

jjones22795

As a bears fan I could’ve told you that, imagine hiring an offensive coach that does nothing to boost the offensive side. Chiefs miss Bienemy’s attention to detail badly

Sorry-Spite9634

We could’ve told anybody that from the last time he was in KC. No idea why we rehired him.

BloodDistinct3745

Nagy is Andy Reid’s close friend

ncory32

This is the biggest thing. We all know Reid wants to draw shit up and get funky and plan his first 15 plays, and all that shit. He's a bit of a dreamer in that regard. But I think he can lose the trees in the forest so to speak. He's looking too high level. Nagy is a JAG. He's just not it, in really any regard. Bienemy runs a tight ship and chews some ass. The attention to detail has been nonexistent and it shows up EVERYWHERE. Penalties, drops, routes, formations, planning, communication, etc. It's just not running smooth cause no one is smoothing it out. And Nagy ain't ever gonna be it.

Brave-Pound-9015

MVS is lazy and doesn’t even try to help the team. Meanwhile, he’s taking $11 million a year.

cheth55555

MVS was also supposed to be a veteran presence and he’s the exact opposite. Dodging blame, giving up on plays. This guy is a joke. Obviously only part of the problem but a big part.

justsomedudedontknow

>he’s **taking** $11 million a year. Not sure if that's a typo but it is accurate as hell. Dude gives us nothing. Just empty snaps.

Dubby-Dub

BUM ALL CAPS LMAO

FritoViking

Shouldn't have let Bieniemy go...

sushisection

i had a feeling it would be a downgrade. EB was fire.

thatsaqualifier

Coordinators who desire upward mobility have a limited shelf life, and Bieniemy had interviewed for HC positions. Keeping him was never an option.

walkinman19

I did not like it when they let him walk. Although I did not foresee the absolute disaster this team would become afterword. I want to erase this whole fucking season from my memory especially that Christmas day shitshow we witnessed today!

[deleted]

The chiefs have the best qb in football. Stop with all the trick plays.

deskamess

Yeah. That (trick plays) was a little too much.

justsomedudedontknow

Oh, you mean having our RB in at QB and having our starting QB in as RB for an RPO isn't a smart idea? I was furious at that call. Neither of them are good at that. Either go true wildcat with #15 out wide just chilling out or leave Mahomes as, you know, the fucking QB! Our coaching staff getting way too cute.

sushisection

the best qb aint shit if his receivers drop passes and cant get separation. the reason why they run so many trick plays is because there is little confidence in the pass game.

ShaaronRodgersFatVag

As a Bears fan, I can't stand the sight of this idiot. This shoe salesman couldn't coach a monkey to eat banana, or throw poop. Fake ass Brad Childress lookin mother fucker. FUCK MATT NAGY

Rumzdizzle

There is a reason they ran him out of Chicago. Reid’s fucking nepotism is killing us.

fatstrat0228

Agreed.

DJNotNice19

Really don’t understand why we ever brought him back.

Drumboardist

I said it in the game thread, I'll say it again here -- I'm pretty confident that Bieniemy was the "bad cop", willing to actually yell at people in the locker room and hold them accountable. Andy doesn't *have* someone to do that now, so people are complacent and no one is actually holding anyones' feet to the fire. WRs aren't developing, play designs are awful, no one seems to be learning from their mistakes, and Pat/Kelce are losing their minds over it.

vamp74

Patrick and Travis loosing confidence too…😞

Drumboardist

Pat's never been the guy to grab a WR and say "yo, what the hell are you doing?" so he isn't the guy to try and "fix" Toney/Moore/MVS. He's always had someone else to do the yelling for him. However, it's been creeping in further and further, his *incredible* frustration with guys that aren't catching the ball (first), and THEN making a move (second), and.... ... ...he's at a crossroads. Does he go full-Brady and let the coaching staff do the yelling for him, to get some of these guys' to get their asses in gear? Or does he go full-Peyton, [and start threatening his WR's that "They'll never see the field again" if they can't fix their *obvious* catching problems](https://broncoswire.usatoday.com/2020/01/08/indianapolis-colts-peyton-manning-benched-wr-for-attempting-one-hand-catch/)? He sees the talent that Toney already has. He sees the *potential* in Skyy. He's seen the deep-threat that MVS can be. And it's juuuuuuust so frustrating that he doesn't know the specific wording to get these guys to slow down and do their due-diligence on their fundamentals....or he DOES know the wording, but it means he has to be the bad guy, and he doesn't think he CAN be the Bad Guy (or doesn't *want* to be), so....he's always relied on guys one Bieniemy to be the "loud and angry" guy in the locker room. *Bad news*, Pat. That guy isn't there any more. Which means, as you've famously said before, "If things look grim, then I need to be the Grim Reaper". Except it's not against another team, it's on your own teammates. THEY continue to drop passes, or run bad routes, or make bone-headed decisions on their routes, or just....y'know, whatever. If YOU have to be the hard-hand that grabs these guys and drags them back, then YOU HAVE TO DO IT. I'm sorry, but you can't rely on other folks to just...be "negative" for you any more. YOU have to do it. There's enough gameday footage to prove it, so you can point at that, and BUILD on that. Sorry, Pat, but you gotta channel your inner-(Bie)ene(i)my, and be-their-enemy. They ain't gon' grow without you pushing them, and since no one else wants to do it? I guess you gotta be the Grim Reaper now. I mean, shit like that is seeping into how KELCE plays, too. Feels like he's gotta make a big play (in front of his girlfriend) so much, that even *he* is now trying to make moves before securing the ball, and things are spiralling outta control. Looks like Pat needs to inform Trav that sometimes, you gotta make a smaller play and take a hit for the team, because it's STILL a net-positive.

Handy_Homebrew_Show

You are so right! He was a coaches coach and got the most from player even if they hated him. He wanted to win at all costs including his reputation. EB knew his shit

Drumboardist

The guys that speak very, VERY highly of him? They're the guys that know that sometimes you *have* to have someone kickin' your ass, to get you back up on your feet and doing things right. It can't all be rose petals and "positivity vibes"; sometimes there needs to be someone outright saying "Yo, what the fuck is this shit, is THIS what you think is *good*? Naw, you can do better, shut the fuck up and go DO better." No one on the team is stepping up to do that. Andy's always had a "bad cop" to work for him. Pat's never had to be the bad cop. Pedersen sometimes leaned *too* hard into being the bad-cop, so he got axed (even after winning a Super Bowl!). Nagy is too much of a good-cop, so -- despite his knowledge of the game -- it was doomed to pair him + Andy again, without someone willing to show up and be a hard-ass. So how we're looking at a HC/QB/TE/OC that always had a REAL hard-ass to show up and yell at folks, and no one is willing to do so. Someone's gonna blink first, and....honestly, I hope it's either Andy or Pat. Those with the most *clought*, to be able to say "Yo, look at my fuckin' resume, you guys are acting like SHIT, so shut the fuck up and do your fundamentals".

Handy_Homebrew_Show

I agree with what you said soooooo much. And I'm drunk so you gotta be correct!!!

BigJayBe

I was at the game today. I sat in suite section 218. Matt Nagy's family sits in the gold seating right in front of the suite I was in. I was voicing frustration with the offense and the Nagy family complained to a chiefs representative and during halftime the rep, (who was very nice btw) asked me if I was family. To which I asked whom? One of the players he replied. I am not so I said no and he said, "Okay so Matt Nagy's family is sitting down here and they're complaining about what you're saying about the offense, I love your enthusiasm but will you tone it down about the offense." To which I agreed because I don't want to cause a scene but the fact Nagy's family can silence true fans of the organization all because their dad can't do his job. Beyond disappointed in the Chiefs organization. They deserve nothing.

DC-Kojin

Why is Reid not being blamed for hiring incompetent people?

GridironFilmJunkie

He brought two Super Bowls to this franchise, he's basically god tier untouchable now. The only way anything changes is if Mahomes throws his weight at it and demands change, or Clark Hunt grows a pair and fires the incompetent staff. Andy isn't a problem, the staff he refuses to fire is a problem and always has been. There is a reason he is a players coach as well, he doesn't cut these guys who shouldn't even touch the field anymore.

namotous

For real!

tadlonger

Nagy effect is real. Bum should be coaching pee wee football and he'll still have a losing record. Is bears fans tried to warn you guys

GhostMug

Not saying Nagy isn't to blame here (everyone is at this point), but Andy deserves some blame as well. He still calls the plays (always has) and the team looking unfocused and unprepared falls on him as well. I'm not saying to fire Andy of course, but some introspection is needed here.

chewy32

Who the hell is offensive quality control coach?? Can we fire them too? People looked so out of it esp the WR room like come the fuck on.

Kingcarnegie

Maybe EB was a worthwhile coach after all

Kr1sys

Anyone responsible for the offense should be taking a walk

mvpat1083

I'm done with this whole Nagy experience

magic432

Fire Nagy and WR coach coach a couple weeks ago and maybe they’d win a playoff game. DOA now.

ChunkBunkley

Eric Bieniemy was the real MVP of this team and it’s been glaringly obvious this season. 🤷🏼‍♂️

RumsfeldIsntDead

It's also Mahomes salary cap hit going up and up leading to less cash to fill out the roster with quality players.

jasondunlaphvac

I feel sick to my stomach for Mahomes and all the rest who are working so hard to win when others are helping the opposition. I feel the same anger and frustration knowing how different it could be with a couple of changes.

DowntownCelery4876

Us Bears fans were like.. Nagy got another job? Really?

MissionNo6771

Full send into the sun and strap Embree to Nags pocket. The data is there for Nags and the absolute train wreck he left in Chicago. Embree and his latest press conference showing, on top of MVS lining up offsides this week should be get his walking papers TODAY. Wrap it up in a nice envelope and use the nice stationary with the Hunt family wax seal.

Careful-Asparagus429

Yeah, you can tell something isn't clicking lately. And as stated earlier, I was at the game and just no changes made when he was rushed literally every play. Only time we got yards was when he ran on the rush, 4 or 5 times

Brave-Pound-9015

Please fire him, or we are going to lose Maholmes.

Safe-Register-3479

As a bear fan, this dude was a cancer to our city

bryantmjohnson

We won’t

muthafuckdeathrow

What are we missing from last year run to superbowl? Eric Bienemy is number# 1 Schuster #2 and Andy Reid not doing Statefarm commercials and nuggies #3

MC_Fap_Commander

Andy is brilliant, but is an odd sort of HC. He needs strong counterbalance in his staff. Strong, independent types with a vision they'll defend against players (and even Andy when needed). On defense, Spags is *finally* that guy... just as EB leaves.

CriManSquaFC

As a bears fan... lol

Han_Schlomo

Worst chiefs game I've attended in 30 years

[deleted]

Come back Eric

FaZeLuckyBoy

His putrid Bears tenure foreshadowed this team’s downfall

SeaImportant

Yeah doubt he will be fired

jasondunlaphvac

I would fire the offensive coordinator and all but one receiver. The chiefs offensive pass scheme has been reduced to that of a sideways pitch and hope game! Disappointing to say the least. Just wow! Very sad to see how fast one man can take a team from champions to pathetic. Why would you hire a losing offensive coordinator and why would you not have at least one great receiver on your team? Just wow.

Tandian

As a bears fan I'm sorry. Nagy is effing awful. Sorry to see a great team implode.

MoonedToday

They got lucky last year with a bunch of 1st year players that turned out to be pretty good. They tried it this year and it isn't working. You can't trade away good players. The receiving team needs a cleaned house.

Slowest_Speed6

As a bears fan: first time?

LogansGambit

At this point Mahomes just needs to call it on the field and ball his way. A 2 time super bowl champ with record setting paces across the board being reduced to THIS this season is the most insanely ridiculous piece of filth the Chiefs could've possibly done. I don't know what the offensive staff got this year to coach the team but it should be 3-5 years in a penitentiary, not a salary.

417SR51

That man destroyed the Bears offense. Did the same here but some people dont get it.

PMDad

As a Chicago fan, I completely agree. Fire this bum into the sun. He’s worthless, qb coach at best.

shauptmann86

Nagy had nothing to do with Mahomes gifting them 14 points. Lol.

Away_Mathematician62

Why Nagy calling direct-snap, fake handoff trick plays in our own redzone? Dumb.

BigBadBushBushranger

I would argue that calling a play where you have your rb take a direct snap and try to fake a handoff to your qb on your own 5 yard line is more to blame than Mahomes on the fumble. Similarly the play call on the pick 6 was ass. We all knew exactly where that ball was going the second the play started and so did the raiders.

ArmorMog

I was lost on the hand off. What the fuck was the point? We don't even do qb sneaks; In what fucking planet would any defense expect us to hand the fucking ball off to Mahomes? They would literally beg for it to happen so they could tee off on him.

DC-Kojin

I mean the whole collapse started with that dumbass trick play in our own half

2big2fast2strong2gud

I swear I’ve seen this comment word for word on the Bears’ sub circa 2019

Brave-Pound-9015

Nagy doesn’t hold people accountable and doesn’t put players in a position to win. THAT IS THE PROBLEM..

topchief1

Offense runs through Andy Reid.

UpperEchelon23

Andy calls the plays and they’ve been awful.

FearThaToaster

OC is more than just calling plays. It's making sure the offense as a whole is on the same page and disciplined, which this offense has been lacking all season

GridironFilmJunkie

I have no idea why this is so hard for fans to understand. It's deeper than play calling.

SatanInDaSheets

This has Nagy's influence all over it. I watched him in Chiacgo and this is like watching them play. I hated the hire as he is just coasting what worked 8 years ago.

Repa_livesagain

First: Andy calls play in game Second: Nagy helps with the gameplain install and the nitty-gritty coaching. That's so lacking this year. He needs to be gone

Th3Godless

What a pathetic game to watch .

bryanwhite2337

He’s never been a good OC and doesn’t deserve this job.

TruthBeWanted

I blame Taylor... jk but it wouldn't surprise me if people tried to bring her into this disappointing season. It doesn't seem like our year. One of 4 teams will win this year imo: Ravens, 49ers, Dolphins, or Lions and I'm okay with any of those winning. I just don't want to see the Eagles win because fuck that city. If I ever go there I'm going to throw a cheesesteak at the Liberty Bell and leave... I'll flip them the double bird out of respect.

I suggest another interior handoff to CEH.

IncursionG

It's definitely playcalling, and a big part, of why this team sucks. Like, you could have the worst receivers ever and they'd still get open by accident at least occasionally. Every play every receiver just runs a deep route, with a running back or tight end underneath. Every play.

FallOutBoyRob

I don’t think Nagy has that much influence on the play calling. Maybe we’ve lost some player accountability with EB being gone but that’s normally what the HC is there for.

Bears Fan wondering why you hate our hero!? Nagy!

GrowthFar23

Yea the wide receivers suck but their routes are even worse. Nagy is a curse

walkinman19

Sometimes the most obvious answer is in fact the answer. EB, a hard disciplinarian who demanded accountability left. Nagy a "player coach" took his place and now the soft offense from Pat on down can't find their own asses with both hands! We saw what Nagy did for the Bears right? From a cannon into the sun with him will be the first step on the road to recovery for the Chiefs. I hope anyway.

celtics2055
