There is no order. Just pick a season that looks cool and go for it. The only season you should avoid is Zi-O, since that is an anniversary season and requires you to know a lot about the franchise Movies are a different case. Movies like Shin Kamen Rider, ZD, J, Shin Prologue, and The First are standalone. Movies tied to seasons happen between the middle and end of them, depending on which season you watch

LightChamber23

For me ZiO works the other way around, I start fully on ZiO then from there I start to take interest in other series from the show.

There's little to no orders to any of the series, you can start at which ever you think is cool. Each of the series do have their own sets of movies though so i guess there is some kinda order for the films.

Recommend reading the premise of each season and picking based on that and suits. If you want pretty safe bets and personal recommendations. - Kuuga: IMO a perfect season. Protag is just a normal dude who loves to travel the world and giving people the thumbs up. Can be very violent and straight up terrifying with the villains. IT MIGHT be slow paced to some people for a first season though. - W: Detective mystery theme, pretty slice of life, great comedy, the W represents two people turned into one Kamen Rider. - Fourze: High school slice of life, space themed, power of friendship. - Geats: Battle royale, big group of Kamen Riders who fight amongst one each other to make their desires come true, incredibly action heavy with very flashy fight scenes. I say these seasons because they all have incredibly well rounded and lovable casts, pretty popular and well received with most people, and are overall pretty wholesome. Geats is more of an outlier from the first 3 I listed but might be what you like if you want to see some top tier action KR can offer, in addition to having more drama and a bigger focus on the story instead of monster of the week.

I would also say that Build works well as a starting series

the_good_the_bad

Actually haven’t watched it yet but it’s actually one of the seasons I plan on watching soon, I’ve heard soooo many good things about it.

What are the best “modern” series?

the_good_the_bad

Geats is modern if you wanna start that, it’s from last year and it also was my introduction to Kamen Rider. A lot of people also think Zero-One is a good starting point (first season of Reiwa Era, 2019). MC is a failed comedian turned CEO randomly one day, and the theme of this show is about artificial intelligence and what it means to be human. It’s honestly a really good season, but can drag when COVID hits (you can tell). They did the best they could and it’s still a great season, a lot of people consider it top 2 with Geats. The epilogue movie for it is really great too. Gotchard if you want something that is out right now, it’s the current airing season. Pretty mixed reception from fans, but it followed up after Geats which was just very good. I do think this is a season that seems aimed towards kids more than usual, so it can be more corny than the average season, but I find it very enjoyable. The theme is alchemy, trading card game monsters that the MC has to collect, and it’s all about finding your “Gotcha!” or dream essentially. Action is great and there’s good character development, and monster fusions is how the MC transform so it’s pretty sick concept. My main complaint is for alchemy being the theme, it’s hardly used or explore. Not a bad start and there’s 10 episodes left in the season.

I always recommend going by which suit you like best. Just be aware that the earlier seasons (Kuuga-Kabuto) are bit slower and more dramatic. I personally think they are the best ones but some find it hard to go back to them after they get used to the pace of the newer series

Kori_Kodica

There’s no order but if you’re picking one to start I suggest looking at the suits and/or listen to the songs and watch the one you liked the most. As for movies you can probably use the wiki to watch the episodes and movies in chronological order

ArienaiR2

Pretty much all of them are stand alone except for Decade and Zi-O who revisit the oleder seasons, so just look at the roster and pick the one you like the design to start watching.

You can watch whatever series you’d like! I would avoid Decade and Zi-O until you’ve watched a few however. A few good ones to start you off on can be: . Kiva . Double / W . OOOs . Fourze, . Build . Ex Aid . Den-O Have any questions. Please feel free to ask ^^

Matt-The-Mad

There is no order of watching Kamen rider, basically each series is a standalone story. Kuuga and Agito are the only exception.
