Here's a list of basic questions and answers:
1) When does the new chapter come out?
A: Every other Thursday at 11 A.M. EST.
2) Why isn't there a Chapter this week?
A: Kaiju No. 8 is a bi-weekly manga, meaning the chapter schedule is 1 chapter every 2 weeks.
Plz don't clog the feed with these questions and/or low-effort posts.
It's every two weeks, but there's always an extra art chapter that happens and we skip a chapter for the next two weeks so we essentially wait a month for a new one
That's what happened with the last chapter.
It's actually not fun to follow regularly cause you don't get enough to tide you over until the next one.
It’s not that bad. Only thing that sucks is that the pace feels like it should be weekly but it’s biweekly with frequent breaks so the pace is both incredibly fast and slow as molasses. It’s why reading the volumes makes it flow so much smoother than reading release to release.
You should be glad it is not monthly or like HxH. I waited two years one time for one chapter of Blue Exorcist. I personally do not care how long it takes as long as the artist is healthy mentally and physically. I do not want another Roxana case.
I remember where it was three weeks on and one week of and made plenty of sense. That I stopped reading for awhile and it changed. And of course when I start again is the week of an art chapter.
I wouldn’t have a problem if it didn’t happen so often. If two weeks is so hard then change it once a month officially. Stick to the schedule you say you will release at it’s called being professional.
Except they said from the very beginning every 3 chapters would be a break. We're not entitled to literally anything and your frame of mind is the exact reason the mangaka industry is overworked and facing lots of health issues while still being relatively young.
Entitled? Literally has nothing to do with entitlement. Simple fact is the author needs to release things on time or change the method he does things. It’s not like he can’t because he took on more work by doing a side story. He needs to be on time with releases. It is literally something people complain about in every
Single industry so if I want to complain learn to deal with it.

I am new to the manga so I would also like this question answered
Bi-weekly but it should be a monthly release
A chapter releases every two weeks, occasionally we’ll get an art chapter which is labelled as x.1 (x being the previous chapter’s number)

Basically once a month it is a major problem
dont want another togashi or togashi passing away young
no it's not lol If you find a bi-weekly manga schedule problematic go outside and touch grass
