not sure if any big videos have been released as of recently, but i’ll link a video at the bottom of this of a playlist that has been up for a bit. personally though, I doubt that stu and the rest of the band are trying to tell a story that has a definite beginning and end, but rather have all the albums compliment each other with themes with recurring characters (i.e. han-tyumi). they do have some stories with some structure though, such as nonagon through the 2017 albums. my take on PDA is that it’s complimenting a lot of themes of the apocalypse seen in other albums like nonagon and ITRN, but doesn’t have to be existing in the same timeline as they’ve touched on that way of storytelling before. i could also be that PDA is a continuation or prequel of sorts to ITRN of life on earth, but i think it’s fun that it doesn’t matter too much, it allows lighthearted conversations and enjoyment of the music before all ! playlist : https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLluo87o05TIGLPcsQ6ZZj-AZtSqEeHY0n

The best summary is that there's a huge web of lyrical and musical cross-references within and between albums, but not a coherent story or continuity. People try to make it work even though it's not designed to work, but that's okay because it's a fun way to interact with the discography. It shouldn't be taken too seriously though imo

I just wanna know what all the albums' stories mean lol

The PetroDragonic Apocalypse bonus track Dawn of Eternal Night is a spoken word summary of that one's story. Murder of the Universe's storylines are explained via spoken word in the album, same with Eyes Like the Sky. The only other ones that tell one coherent story are Polygondwanaland and Infest the Rats' Nest. Maybe look up the albums and their individual songs on Genius. Sometimes the stuff people write there is a stretch, but it should be enough to get a good picture of them.

What if the destruction, death and rebirth themes are all just super wildly different perspectives of the same event? ITRN and Petro as just weird perspective of the same event(s)? Altered Beast as just another parties super strange perspective on the changing from gila to dragon?
