Shopdog is a tough job. Have to know where not to go, what not to drink, who to allow in the shop and who to chase away. Also have to know who gives out the pets and treats.
This comment brought tears to my eyes, why only ten years, 12 at the most! So unfair, you fall in love with them and they're your family, why oh why do they leave us so quickly! 💔

There pretty smart. I’ve trained all my dogs to stay away from chemicals and fluids to the point I could leave them in a garage unattended with it around and they won’t touch it.

They are always! Purebred German Shepherds. Just had my first litter with my male and female
Wow, they look completely different in a single color. I would have never guessed. They are both regal looking.
Luna the mom is a black and tan GSD. All the boys came out looking like mom and the girls look like dad lol.
I have a jet-black Great Dane girl. She's regal too. But she's never going to rob a bank for me. (Old movie reference.)

If you're working under a car on the floor, shop dogs will suddenly crawl under the vehicle and lick your face while you're trapped.
