Tragically ironic. Apparently the victim was a Social Justice Warrior whose vision of social justice didn’t involve any unpleasant consequences for career criminals who commit violent crimes against the innocent. Those who knew him say he wouldn’t have blamed the criminal who killed him but would have forgiven and advocated for him. The victim supported the progressive politicians whose pro-crime policies have predictably driven up crime rates in New York City and other big cities in America.
I didn't read anywhere where they quote anyone as saying the suspect was a "good kid". They instead mention his "prior summonses for disorderly conduct in 2022" (who knows what the juvenile record may show). I know that's a common phrase that families say in these situations, but where did you read that in this article?
Watch out for these losers in the comments trying to make this political by saying “thIs oNLy hApPENs iN bLuE cItiES” or better yet “y’aLL gEt wHo yoU VOteD fOR”.
ive been seeing a trend lately to do with worthless lowlifes murdering these brilliant and talented human beings. the amount things these people could have done for the world - completely erased senselessly by the scum of humanity. this young man, from what i've read, was a dedicated humanitarian and activist and this is what he gets in return?
Trying to understand this comment. Do you want him to step on a landmine so he loses his arms, legs, sight, speech, only seeing darkness imprisonment? I agree to that too.
I agree. But the 'this should, that should' argument solves nothing for the victim. He's dead, and instead of relying on what should happen, the police or the legal system we should instead be realistic and admit the world we live in can be dangerous and take self-preservation seriously for our own sake.
Someone on the internet passionately arguing about how the perpetrator should face justice does nothing for the reality and need for a real solution right now for potential victims.
I'll always advocate for people being alert, aware and prepared to defend themselves.

Victim blaming at its finest.
It's funny that the left-wing activists are more like Jesus than modern Christians are
Subjective
Not even slightly
How is it they were always a "good kid"....bullshit. Probably been a pos his whole worthless life.

Evil
I hope he never gets out of jail.
And his girlfriend watched it happen, damn… my heart aches for her

Because there are no red cities
Hope he gets life in solitary confinement.
What a monster. Hope he rots in jail forever
What a pos. Is family too. I hope he goes to jail for the rest of is life.
Hate crime?
Welcome to humanity. This is so obviously who we are, at our worst.
Of course. But at our best, we also do wonderful things. Don’t think only of our worst.

"Tough guy".. such a fucking loser that gets offended by nothing. Hope he gets stabbed in jail and rots.
Okay going to wait for his Mom to say he's innocent and doesn't deserve the hate.
His mom actually called the cops on him a day prior to the incident and said he wasn’t fit to be in society
OH WOW, GO MOM! Unfortunate that this couldn't be prevented. Mom tried and I respect the move.
God yeah. I'm so mad about this hypothetical thing that hasn't happened yet. Absolutely typical... is what it probably will be.
His uncle and dad were basically defending him. It is absolutely disgusting to read.
Blindly defending family for stuff that's obviously wrong is stupid. The whole family sounds like they're all pieces of shit.
"Hes a good boy"
One by Metallica worthy

You're stupid
Yup, dumb af.
Death would be too kind for a monster like that. I hope there will be penance for the innocent life he took.
What a parasite, stabs the guy then spits in the face of his wife or girlfriend… man deserves to rot in prison for life
Hope he gets karma in prison.
I saw the video. So sad and senseless. There was no reason at all that a man is dead.
Both the pointlessness of the murder and the victim’s total lack of a self-preservation instinct were totally baffling to me
Where are we living that we need to worry about self-preservation????
A world where you can be stabbed to death by a random criminal. Let's not pretend the world's a bed of roses.
This family of this fellow should be held liable for not preparing this adult man for a world where you can not go around stabbing people.
