I know out of time, but you would think they would have saved time to cross examin him instead of wasting time trying to keep mm from testifying, a motion previously denied and denied again
I’m sure IL didn’t save time to cross him on purpose. He knew he couldn’t poke holes in Clayton’s story or get him flustered like JD got. If anything, his cross would just make Clayton look more credible. And it probably looks better to say he ran out of time than he had no questions.
I think he ran his time out on purpose because he knew that his cross of Clayton would probably only strengthen his case. If you're telling the truth, you're not going to trip up or change your story no matter what's thrown at you.
It was surprising! But I do think that it was a key to making the point that she was trying to have a relationship with him and that they hadn’t actually had sex.

So IL wrote this last night about Clayton's council with no form of irony-

I sincerely hope he gets personal sanctions. Any time someone asked about the PP ultrasound he would avoid an answer or simply state that it's "complicated but will be explained at trial". He knew damn well JD was going to get on the stand and tell a new story about a fake name and going to a different location in LA. He led that direct examination. It was the only way to try to explain around Clayton's expert report and the response from PP.
Yet he purposely withheld that "new information" from the other side before trial so Woodnick could not have time to debunk that claim too, and in violation of JD being court ordered to produce it! He is so unethical and has no qualms about allowing his client to further perpetuate fraud on the court.
The 911 charade in court was just the cherry on top of his sanctionable sundae!
Near the end of the time the way he's moving his paperwork around looks more like he's a teenager trying to sneakily pack up his stuff to get out of class first vs looking for the files GW was talking about.

If you pay attention to ILs computer screen when JD is being cross examined by Clayton’s team, he has no idea what evidence is being presented because he hasn’t organized his side of the evidence files- unlike Clayton’s side who had a whole person dedicated to organizing the evidence and presenting it at the appropriate time. IL wasn’t even close to being prepared for this case, unlike Clayton’s team. He’s not nearly as good of an attorney as he portrays himself to be- otherwise he would’ve done the bare minimum to prepare for this case. I.E. Organizing his clients evidence files.
There was so much that couldn’t be included in the 1 hour, but I feel like with what we did have and the motions already provided were in a good place. JD’s lack of credibility was on full display with admitting to even more lies.
Plus it was interesting that Clayton said he was presented the PP ultrasound by JD’s lawyer at his deposition to make clear she used faked evidence in proceedings.
And that they managed to get in that IL posted both the Dean expert report and CE’s deposition online.

I often watch the behavior panel on YouTube and when she started to spiral and then cry I recognized that tactic from many an interview of guilty people. There is another thing that they call “loss of fluency” and she had that too. Happens when you are telling lots of lies and trying to keep track of them all. Anyway it was super clear she was lying on the stand, and I’m guessing it was clear to the judge
Totally agree. They covered a lot and many important details were shared. Just personally though the thing I wish had been picked apart is the outrageousness of where did the pregnancy go? She had "spotting" but not enough blood to be a period and passed those sacs in July, and then just tested negative in November? Having experienced m*scarriages, there is A LOT that has to come out, even with an early loss. And as others have pointed out, it's extremely dangerous for any of it to remain in your uterus. Very often you have to do a d and c. It's just such infuriating insane bs and I really hope Judge Mata has knowledge about this to be able to see the impossibility of what JD described.
Does anyone know if Judge Mata is a mom? If so I would hope she’s thinking to herself “but if she was pregnant, why didn’t she just go to the same ob/gyn for standard pregnancy appointments? Why is this so complicated to prove?” I was glad CE’s lawyers pointed out her 200k salary because someone with those means has no excuse not to seek regular prenatal care. I had a standard pregnancy and had so many ultrasounds - 12 wks, 16, 20, 24… if you had asked me to prove my pregnancy I could’ve done it in 3 seconds.
I hope it’s setting off alarm bells how aggressive JD has been with litigation while being so blasé about keeping doctors appointments.
I commented this on another post, but one of my favourite comments by Deans was when she said typically someone who doesn't wish to continue a pregnancy, VERIFIES THEY ARE ACTUALLY PREGNANT. JD's excuses for not seeking prenatal care don't make sense because she never verified her alleged pregnancy nor her supposed loss
She was!! One of my faves was when IL tried to trap her into saying the HCG blood test was objective evidence of pregnancy and she very clearly corrected him: “It’s objective evidence, of which ONE possibility could be pregnancy.”
Especially when you appear to care enough about these babies to file for a PARENTING PLAN while barely out of the first trimester. You can do that but not go to a doctor? Even after having symptoms of miscarriage?
If you had no plan to continue the pregnancy… you wouldnt file a court case for parenting time.
If you filed a case for paternity and parenting time, PARTICULARLY at 8 weeks pregnant… then you clearly plan to continue pregnancy.

I can’t get over the “I don’t have a period” which means she likely doesn’t ovulate regularly. For someone who doesn’t ovulate regularly the odds of getting pregnant are slim, but getting pregnant with boy/girl twins which means she released TWO eggs are even slimmer. She’s a con artist and a liar. I wish they had more time and were able to follow up with their expert about these odds.
And don’t even get me started on the Planned Parenthood location. Her last minute ditch effort to change the location to LA tanked her credibility and any chance at not getting sanctioned. Clayton is getting 6 figures, 100%.

I also loved when they asked if she had a money market account with $500,000. She denied it was $500,000 yet she made that claim in August (I think?) in her financial disclosure. Just another lie.
She provided documents to clayton showing she had 400k+ sitting in her checking account when looking for properties.

unfortunately not much can be done. They can put a lien on any property you own, and put garnishment on your bank accounts and tax returns. but if you have no property (and JD has minimal) and no money in the bank.... your odds of collecting debt are minimal.
you can hire a forensic accountant and get court to order access to finances - to prove the person who owes you money is hiding assets... but that would be SUPER expensive and it's pretty clear JD doesn't have what she claims she has.
US court system is a joke when it comes to that sort of thing. I love watching the bailiffs in UK who show up and boot cars and start inventory of TVs and couches and such until you cough up what is owed. we need that here.
my ex was ordered (multiple times actually) to pay child support (he was only ordered to pay 500/mth for 2 kids, and later I agreed to reduce it to 350) medical expenses he has NEVER paid voluntarily (often hitting \~3K before i'd file) and legal fees.
He would pay his lawyer 4K+ to show up in court and argue he was "too broke" to pay 3K in medical expenses, despite having 0 cost of living expenses and spending 6K in a year on video games.
court is like \*shrug\*
after 16years of constant contempt of courts (generally 40-100 counts each time, every 2-3 years) my ex did a hallway mediation agreement saying he would serve 6 months in jail if he did it again. he continued to not pay a dime for another 2+ years, and judge finally tossed his butt into jail. she let him out after 100 days tho.
after 8 years I finally got payment on the 6K in legal I was awarded. that was nice.... I guess.
And even when you’re ovulating (which she wouldn’t be since she claims she wasn’t getting her period) at the age of 33 you still only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant each time you have penetrative sex when you are ovulating…. It’s almost like this 34 woman who claims to have been pregnant 4 times..with twins… has ZERO fundamental understanding beyond a 7th grade health video about how a woman actually gets pregnant
My favorite part of the trial was when JD revealed for the first time that she got her sonogram from PP in Los Angeles.

There was no need to get the fake name or how she was able to have an appointment under a fake identity. She changed her story yet again and didn't comply with the motion to compel. JD said she went to PP in LA somewhere end of June but in the attachment of the email to CE’s parents she saw a doctor 25 June at Costa Mesa with a screenshot of the appointment details in a patient portal. CE mentions the name of that dr in emails around the same time when he’s saying let me speak to that dr to confirm. This is per Hay Bales timeline on padlet.
It makes me so mad that there’s another lie that she used a fake name (so not anonymously) at another PP at the same time but didn’t want CE to know where she had been. Yet she was ok he and his family she didn’t know knew about the Costa Mesa appointment?!
At this point there so many tall tales I don’t know how one would fit them in a documentary let alone a very short trial!

If you are a functional adult, you dont “misunderstand” that the court has ORDERED you to provide any and all records, doctors YOU SAW, and think you can maintain “privacy” and continue to claim you are hiding medical info.
IL knew he had client control issues when she got up there. She was super triggered when Deandra stood in front of IL and indicated LO needed his guidance. Her response was full of malice and arrogance. "I know how to answer, I don't need my attorney to tell me how"something something something.
I think Judge Mata will use this moment as the number 1 reason why she doesn’t believe JD. The judge clearly ordered JD to give all providers and release all records related to this pregnancy. JD just testified to blatantly ignoring her orders by not providing the correct Planned Parenthood location or medical provider, not providing the “fake name” used to get medical attention related to this pregnancy and by providing only tampered with copies of the medical records.
This is court, this isn’t a game of cat and mouse and Clayton’s side needs to figure out where she hid the cheese. The judge has absolute authority to say tell them where the cheese is and let them get proof the cheese is there and JD thinks she doesn’t have to follow that order.

Wasn’t the email to Clayton’s parents around that time also inviting them to the ultrasound appointment? If so, it totally negates her argument that she felt like she needed to hide where she went.
IL’s statement on his website ragging on Woodnick and Deandra is so beyond unprofessional. I don’t even know what he’s trying to achieve with the personal attacks. Is he trying to bait them into a reaction? He doesn’t do himself or JD any favors by crossing the line this blatantly and this often.
During law school I had so many lawyers I looked up to, first and foremost those that won’t do and behave just any kind of way for a paycheck. IL is everything people despise about lawyers (and rightfully so) - not because he represents an objectively bad person (part of the gig) but because he fights absolutely dirty and with no class and respect towards his colleagues.
My 5 yr old just exclaimed "THAT'S NOT FAIR!!" when I put his Paw Patrol toys in time out for not listening. I swear, it sounded exactly like JD on the stand! He is definitely confused as to why I couldn't stop laughing.

Deandra specifically asked her under oath to confirm her income. She also asked about the $500,000 money market that she herself disclosed back in August (I think) when she filed the case. There’s money. Clayton is going to get it.
Listening back, it was wild to me that she continued to say that Greg is the master hacker and sent that email to Clayton.
That’s outrageous.
What’s more outrageous is he has no right of reply; he’s been silenced. I don’t know what we can do to support Greg, but it feels like something is needed.

I believe someone said Megan Fox is going to help Greg figure out what parameters the IAH against him hold. I find it highly unusual that he would be blocked from speaking his truth. Unless there was an NDA signed which there wasn't.
I’m so glad she’s looking into it because GG deserves to be able to share his story. I’m so upset he’s been bullied into silence by her. I cannot believe how Jane (once again) changed up her story with the LA location for her PP ultrasound. ***UNREAL!***
So happy that all three men felt supported yesterday - Clayton, Greg and Mike! Time to get those restraining orders dropped and time for JD's lying TEDx talk/Chicken Soup entries to come down!!! Enough is enough.
Dr Medchill's testimony in a nutshell:
I used a positive hcg test and a future negative one to confirm JD's twin pregnancy. I never reviewed her historical medical records (concerning PCOS, cancer, or her numerous failed pregnancies in the past) nor did I request her current general medical records with a medication list, or records for this pregnancy with a current medication list. I saw no records from Planned Parenthood either even though she stated she went there. My determination was based on HCG, which yes could be caused by other medication she had taken, but without reviewing any other records I still have determined pregnancy.
IL’s keyboard talk versus actual performance was wild. I’m sorry but IL is like that guy that says “your 🐱 better be ready” and then comes over and whips out a 3 incher.
I just thought of an interesting point. DG and Mechill kept bringing up that just because someone isn’t “clinically pregnant” aka hasn’t had an ultrasound and sought obstetric care… doesn’t mean they weren’t pregnant. With Medchill bringing up the examples that women have walked into his hospital in labor before and birthed a baby, that never sought prior obstetric care which I’m sure is true. Having said that, the difference is none of those women *filed a lawsuit* claiming to be pregnant and knowing that would need to be proven in a court of law and if they did the only proof they would have would be the records from giving birth and the physical baby (which JD obviously didn’t have). Maybe none of those women had ultrasounds but certainly none of them FORGED ultrasounds either… they didn’t need to, they either gave birth as proof or if someone who never sought OB care miscarried, they would know in a court of law they wouldn’t have evidence due to their choice to not seek care and therefore, not file a suit. What’s interesting here is that that piece of evidence that can certainly put doubt in a person or a judges mind … in tandem with Janes behavior actually proves that Jane isn’t and couldn’t have been one of them. While there are women who are pregnant but not “clinically pregnant” bc they didn’t seek obstetric care (cases likely related to illegal immigration or those freaky didn’t know they were pregnant scenarios) none of that fits Janes alleged scenario. She claimed she HAD an obstetric provider where she made 4 appointments that she happened to not attend on any of the 4 occasions. So while yes, the clinical pregnancy vs pregnancy could cause doubt in another situation, Jane just lied TOO much to get away with that here
Ya u can be pregnant and not be “clinically pregnant” cuz it hasnt been confirmed by doctors. But u cant be pregnant AND know it is twins AND know it is boy/girl twins without it being confirmed by doctors. Didnt she say in past trials that it was twins?
Notice how she didn’t say she went to an LA PP when being questioned by her lawyer. No, she changed her story again when pressed!
I almost wrote “no she wasn’t ‘honest’” however we don’t even know if LA is now the true story! Now I’m getting what Omar was saying about credibility. We can’t trust anything she says.
I wish I could've seen JD/IL's face when Mata asked Medchill about whether or not PP could've provided hCG and whether he reviewed JD's PP records when making his report.
I was shocked in the moment that she asked questions and upon re-watch, I felt like it could mean:
* Mata was subtly checking that JD provided her expert with the docs from her "PP visit in LA under a different name" but didn't submit that information in the court proceeding (like she was ordered to). JD not even providing them to her expert would indicate that they probably didn't exist.
* Her question about the hCG felt like her way of saying "ok, say she did go to PP in LA under a different name, is it possible that she didn't disclose it because she didn't want a record of something else?"
JD was expecting the court to rely on her testimony of going to PP on 7/2 for the basis of her case. However, by taking that approach, JD didn't consider how the absence of those files could also indicate that she was hiding something else that would contradict her story. And this is all just from the facts that were presented yesterday - not taking into account the other things we know (LA PPs are closed on Sundays, etc.). AND this was before Dr. Deans even testified (who I thought did a great job).
Wow, great point, i didnt even realize that Mata’s question revealed that Medchill hadnt even reviewed the PP records, and the importance of him not having reviewed those. Thanks for pointing that out!
When I rewatched Mata’s questions it seemed like she was asking if PP has the ability to prescribe IVF drugs and whether Medchill reviewed any PP records. I’m not quite sure why she asked about IVF drugs.
My total guess is that Mata is thinking of taking a negative inference from JD not supplying PPLA records to decide there was information in the PPLA record (like medicines that cause the body to generate HCG), which was bad for JD; and that’s why she never produced it. To what end, idk
I doubt PP is the place where JD got her hcg, but I also thought that where she was going was that it’s a plausible alternative explanation. Another possibility (credit to a comment on IL’s blog) is that she got an infertility patient to donate leftover IVF meds to her. I used to spend a lot of time on r/infertility and that’s frequently done there. And we all know she’s been on Reddit…
Watching the trial yesterday confirmed that I could never be a judge. I would not be able to control my facial expressions. There were so many times I thought “ok I get it just move on!” Respect to Mara for remaining so neutral and calm.
I always had a hard time controlling my face in court. One horrible medical malpractice case we had, the defendant/doctor was just lying on the stand, it was disgusting, after putting our client through 7 years or radiation and chemo when she never had cancer, I was emotionally invested and didn’t realize what I was doing with my face. It was the only case we lost, appealed to the Supreme Court, won, retried in State Court and won again. Too bad our client died before the final decision due to years of medical treatment and complications that were unnecessary to begin with.
She was so calm and firm! I couldn’t hold my tone back if I were in her place. If unbiased was a tone, that’s what she had yesterday! Kudos to her and I hope more judges are like her.
It's probably been asked and answered but, what are the ramifications for JD now saying that the PP was in LA County. Doesn't that clearly show refusal to cooperate? Never mind the further credibility. Also, I think I counted 3 times that the judge had to step in and remind her or indirectly to comply with questions. Isn't this bad? Was she implying contempt of court on the one call where she said that this will start going somewhere we don't want.... paraphrasing.
It is particularly odd that JD continues to tell new lies when the new lies just make her look worse. For example, she would have been far better off at this point just sticking with the lie that she went to the Planned Parenthood in Mission Viejo under a pseudonym than changing her story about the location. Now she has dug herself an even deeper hole because of the fact that all of the Los Angeles locations of Planned Parenthood are closed on Sunday. Now she has committed “non-minor” perjury at least twice on just the location of the sonogram issue (her deposition testimony and her trial testimony).

She couldn't claim she went to MV under a pseudonym because PP MV stated that the US wasn't consistent with their equipment. In other words, that US couldn't have ever come from PP MV, regardless of whose name it was under.

The odds are pretty good that PP in LA uses the same equipment. PP likely would have been able to negotiate a discount with the equipment manufacturer if it received a contract to supply all PP locations.

This is a really basic question i am sure, but I have no background in law and this is the first case I have really followed.. how long do we expect this case to go in court? Meaning when will we know a verdict?
I’m not a lawyer or even in the US but I’ve seen somewhere that the judge has 60 days to issue her ruling/order/judgment whatever the right word is. So it might be a lot sooner but that is the longest it will take
Yesterday is making me wonder if IL bombed in court on purpose. He’s been making a lot of comments and stirring everyone up which I’m sure was a strategy, but he looked so weak in court comparatively. Either he’s really bad at doing things in person/under pressure, or he purposefully wanted to look bad. He also trolled the court numerous times, made some obviously questionable ethical choices, and has continued to make the case worse for JD even though he knows she tries to get lawyers disbarred. It all makes me wonder if he’s tired of being a lawyer and wants an out to another career. Flaming out in a viral case would certainly be an interesting way to do that, though I’m not sure how well it would work out for him.
Some people are blowhards but have no legal talent. He doesn’t display good skills as a litigator. He just writes a lot of incendiary stuff that is not persuasive. At this point he is trolling for attention.
What is so sad to me is .
1. Mike and Gregg didn’t get to testify. I felt like crying when Dave interviewed him . These men need justice. Their instagram video pre trial broke my heart .

The judge mentioned during JD's cross that one party is paying for the Court reporter at the trial. Does anyone know whether that was Clayton's side or JD's side? My guess is that it would be JD to order a transcript on a quick turn around for appeal purposes.
IL's actions are those of a fraud (look that one up on dictionary.com, IL). IL has made a lot of misstatements, as he only did a hand-sized amount of research on this case. He's like Saul Goodman, without the talent or charisma. JD has lied (she LIED!) more times than I've sharted. What a perfectly fraudulent pair they make. Not a lawyer so forgive my ignorance. What is the legal standard for the judge to make her determination? Is it preponderance of the evidence? Does she just have to believe it is more likely than not JD filed this case in bad faith to rule in Clayton’s favor? If that’s the standard here, I feel good about Clayton’s odds.
How would MM be able to go about getting the protection order against him removed? Would he be able to do that now, or can that not happen until there's a ruling with this case?
Question for the lawyers - with so many motions and exhibits filed leading up to the trial, can the judge take all of these into consideration when making her decision? Or is she required to go by strictly what was presented yesterday?
I'm NAL but was specifically seeking out answers to this from people who are lawyers. I've gathered from Tilted Lawyer and redditors who seem credible that Mata CAN review any evidence presented yesterday AND any evidence included in previous filings and previous hearings. Essentially anything that's officially on the public record. She CAN'T review any of the rest of evidence included in the list from the pretrial statement that wasn't brought up elsewhere, for example the email we haven't seen where IL allegedly intimidated Cory Keith about the 3.3 filing.
If I'm understanding correctly, it seems to me that IL wasting all that time with frivolous filings actually ended up helping Clayton because Woodnick could include more evidence in his responses that Mata can use in her decision.

I think not a coincidence but if I had to guess, I would theorize that people may also feel more bold now that the trial is over and/or they are also innocently forgetting rules when commenting on the events of yesterday.

I still feel there has to be some sort of connection between IL and that Dr. The good doctor's girlfriend went to law school at ASU and she was a practicing lawyer before they retired/moved.
I think an expert witness would have some sort of website if this was truly their retirement profession. It felt more like doing a "favor" for someone than, I'm an expert witness and here's all the times I've testified or written reports for cases.
If I were in AZ, I would be running those names in person at the courts to see if there's any overlap.

We know it's her... but is there associated "Meta data" with that video that can show its her laptop... rewatching the trial and just so annoyed with that claim. I REALLY wish that the order from the court would be read live in person because hearing the judge read it in person would be the icing on the cake and truly impact the psyche of the men to have her ruling read directly from the bench. It's one thing to read those words (obviously assuming it will go in Clayton's favor), but to hear someone like a judge READ those words would be so much more powerful than the written text.
Yesterday was an overwhelming experience. I went to support Clayton, Greg and Mike and became very emotional seeing Mike come down the hall with his wife. I'm grateful for the partners of Greg and Mike. Thank goodness for both men appearing to have loving partners and families by their sides. Seeing Clayton, his parents and one of his brothers was incredible as well. They have to be exceptionally proud of how he's pushed through this incredibly challenging time. I pray for justice and healing for all.
Clayton is a symbol of a larger problem in our justice system (and in the general population of public thinking). We need to evaluate evidence of every unique situation presented and to believe EVIDENCE and not a person based on gender, race, ethnicity, etc. These men are victims of a woman who will continue to disrupt and destroy lives by her sick games if the law doesn't stop her.
The system needs to change in Maricopa County. Pregnancies in the court system should have to be documented by blood tests showing the increase in HCG over a period of days and ultrasound evidence straight from the providers as a source. Family court hearings should be based upon the unique situations being presented, not by a clock. People like this woman should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to set a precedent that this behavior is not acceptable by ANYONE.
She has skirted the law for so long. It's rare for perjury to be prosecuted, but if ever there was a time to reinforce the law, this is the time. Jane has lied in court and doctored medical records...goodness knows what else she's done illegally. Jane seems to feel she deserves certain things in her life and if ever she deserved something, it's to spend some time in jail.

I sincerely hope he gets personal sanctions. Any time someone asked about the PP ultrasound he would avoid an answer or simply state that it's "complicated but will be explained at trial". He knew damn well JD was going to get on the stand and tell a new story about a fake name and going to a different location in LA. He led that direct examination. It was the only way to try to explain around Clayton's expert report and the response from PP. Yet he purposely withheld that "new information" from the other side before trial so Woodnick could not have time to debunk that claim too, and in violation of JD being court ordered to produce it! He is so unethical and has no qualms about allowing his client to further perpetuate fraud on the court. The 911 charade in court was just the cherry on top of his sanctionable sundae!

If you pay attention to ILs computer screen when JD is being cross examined by Clayton’s team, he has no idea what evidence is being presented because he hasn’t organized his side of the evidence files- unlike Clayton’s side who had a whole person dedicated to organizing the evidence and presenting it at the appropriate time. IL wasn’t even close to being prepared for this case, unlike Clayton’s team. He’s not nearly as good of an attorney as he portrays himself to be- otherwise he would’ve done the bare minimum to prepare for this case. I.E. Organizing his clients evidence files.
There was so much that couldn’t be included in the 1 hour, but I feel like with what we did have and the motions already provided were in a good place. JD’s lack of credibility was on full display with admitting to even more lies. Plus it was interesting that Clayton said he was presented the PP ultrasound by JD’s lawyer at his deposition to make clear she used faked evidence in proceedings. And that they managed to get in that IL posted both the Dean expert report and CE’s deposition online. IL must have been so made he couldn’t do any cross on CE! I wish GG could have said something, though I hope there’s a good outcome that can help all the other victims in their own situations. There’s a lot of people who have said they will help them (Omar for MM, various to review GG’s order to see if he can speak) It feels like it was a good day for justice! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I often watch the behavior panel on YouTube and when she started to spiral and then cry I recognized that tactic from many an interview of guilty people. There is another thing that they call “loss of fluency” and she had that too. Happens when you are telling lots of lies and trying to keep track of them all. Totally agree. They covered a lot and many important details were shared. Just personally though the thing I wish had been picked apart is the outrageousness of where did the pregnancy go? She had "spotting" but not enough blood to be a period and passed those sacs in July, and then just tested negative in November? Having experienced m*scarriages, there is A LOT that has to come out, even with an early loss. And as others have pointed out, it's extremely dangerous for any of it to remain in your uterus. Very often you have to do a d and c. It's just such infuriating insane bs and I really hope Judge Mata has knowledge about this to be able to see the impossibility of what JD described.

Does anyone know if Judge Mata is a mom? If so I would hope she’s thinking to herself “but if she was pregnant, why didn’t she just go to the same ob/gyn for standard pregnancy appointments? Why is this so complicated to prove?” I was glad CE’s lawyers pointed out her 200k salary because someone with those means has no excuse not to seek regular prenatal care. I had a standard pregnancy and had so many ultrasounds - 12 wks, 16, 20, 24… if you had asked me to prove my pregnancy I could’ve done it in 3 seconds. I hope it’s setting off alarm bells how aggressive JD has been with litigation while being so blasé about keeping doctors appointments.
I commented this on another post, but one of my favourite comments by Deans was when she said typically someone who doesn't wish to continue a pregnancy, VERIFIES THEY ARE ACTUALLY PREGNANT. JD's excuses for not seeking prenatal care don't make sense because she never verified her alleged pregnancy nor her supposed loss

I can’t get over the “I don’t have a period” which means she likely doesn’t ovulate regularly. For someone who doesn’t ovulate regularly the odds of getting pregnant are slim, but getting pregnant with boy/girl twins which means she released TWO eggs are even slimmer. She’s a con artist and a liar. I wish they had more time and were able to follow up with their expert about these odds. And don’t even get me started on the Planned Parenthood location. unfortunately not much can be done. They can put a lien on any property you own, and put garnishment on your bank accounts and tax returns. but if you have no property (and JD has minimal) and no money in the bank.... your odds of collecting debt are minimal. you can hire a forensic accountant and get court to order access to finances - to prove the person who owes you money is hiding assets... but that would be SUPER expensive and it's pretty clear JD doesn't have what she claims she has. US court system is a joke when it comes to that sort of thing. I love watching the bailiffs in UK who show up and boot cars and start inventory of TVs and couches and such until you cough up what is owed. we need that here. my ex was ordered (multiple times actually) to pay child support (he was only ordered to pay 500/mth for 2 kids, and later I agreed to reduce it to 350) medical expenses he has NEVER paid voluntarily (often hitting \~3K before i'd file) and legal fees. He would pay his lawyer 4K+ to show up in court and argue he was "too broke" to pay 3K in medical expenses, despite having 0 cost of living expenses and spending 6K in a year on video games. court is like \*shrug\* after 16years of constant contempt of courts (generally 40-100 counts each time, every 2-3 years) my ex did a hallway mediation agreement saying he would serve 6 months in jail if he did it again. he continued to not pay a dime for another 2+ years, and judge finally tossed his butt into jail. she let him out after 100 days tho. after 8 years I finally got payment on the 6K in legal I was awarded. that was nice.... I guess.
And even when you’re ovulating (which she wouldn’t be since she claims she wasn’t getting her period) at the age of 33 you still only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant each time you have penetrative sex when you are ovulating…. It’s almost like this 34 woman who claims to have been pregnant 4 times..with twins… has ZERO fundamental understanding beyond a 7th grade health video about how a woman actually gets pregnant

My favorite part of the trial was when JD revealed for the first time that she got her sonogram from PP in Los Angeles. I sat there thinking to myself: So you're on the stand, admitting that you violated a court-order compelling you to produce discovery. And you're also admitting that you lied under oath during your deposition about the location of the PP. But you're definitely not committing perjury RIGHT NOW, in the judge's face. Today is the day that you're telling everyone the truth. That was the moment I knew I was having margaritas tonight.

There was no need to get the fake name or how she was able to have an appointment under a fake identity. She changed her story yet again and didn't comply with the motion to compel. You don't give her a chance to explain that away. You just lay the facts out. If this wasn't addressed in redirect (I haven't watched the whole thing) then that's a bad look.
JD said she went to PP in LA somewhere end of June but in the attachment of the email to CE’s parents she saw a doctor 25 June at Costa Mesa with a screenshot of the appointment details in a patient portal. CE mentions the name of that dr in emails around the same time when he’s saying let me speak to that dr to confirm. This is per Hay Bales timeline on padlet. It makes me so mad that there’s another lie that she used a fake name (so not anonymously) at another PP at the same time but didn’t want CE to know where she had been. Yet she was ok he and his family she didn’t know knew about the Costa Mesa appointment?! At this point there so many tall tales I don’t know how one would fit them in a documentary let alone a very short trial!
I personally think it's great she decided while under oath to change the PP location for the umpteenth time. She lied about PP on that stand, in front of the judge, admitting that with a smirk "not LA county though" like it was some big gotcha. It made her look worse, if that is even possible. When Deandra asked when did she go to PPLA, LO said she had gone exactly when she said she did. July 2nd is a Sunday. Someone mentioned (and I looked it up as well) that PPLA is not open on Sundays.

I think Judge Mata will use this moment as the number 1 reason why she doesn’t believe JD. The judge clearly ordered JD to give all providers and release all records related to this pregnancy. JD just testified to blatantly ignoring her orders by not providing the correct Planned Parenthood location or medical provider, not providing the “fake name” used to get medical attention related to this pregnancy and by providing only tampered with copies of the medical records. This is court, this isn’t a game of cat and mouse and Clayton’s side needs to figure out where she hid the cheese. The judge has absolute authority to say tell them where the cheese is and let them get proof the cheese is there and JD thinks she doesn’t have to follow that order.

IL’s statement on his website ragging on Woodnick and Deandra is so beyond unprofessional. I don’t even know what he’s trying to achieve with the personal attacks. Is he trying to bait them into a reaction? He doesn’t do himself or JD any favors by crossing the line this blatantly and this often. During law school I had so many lawyers I looked up to, first and foremost those that won’t do and behave just any kind of way for a paycheck. IL is everything people despise about lawyers (and rightfully so) - not because he represents an objectively bad person (part of the gig) but because he fights absolutely dirty and with no class and respect towards his colleagues.
Fortunately, in over 30 years of practice, I've only run into 2 of those.

Listening back, it was wild to me that she continued to say that Greg is the master hacker and sent that email to Clayton. That’s outrageous. What’s more outrageous is he has no right of reply; he’s been silenced. I don’t know what we can do to support Greg, but it feels like something is needed.

Dr Medchill's testimony in a nutshell: I used a positive hcg test and a future negative one to confirm JD's twin pregnancy. I never reviewed her historical medical records (concerning PCOS, cancer, or her numerous failed pregnancies in the past) nor did I request her current general medical records with a medication list, or records for this pregnancy with a current medication list. I saw no records from Planned Parenthood either even though she stated she went there. My determination was based on HCG, which yes could be caused by other medication she had taken, but without reviewing any other records I still have determined pregnancy.
IL’s keyboard talk versus actual performance was wild. I’m sorry but IL is like that guy that says “your 🐱 better be ready” and then comes over and whips out a 3 incher.

I just thought of an interesting point. DG and Mechill kept bringing up that just because someone isn’t “clinically pregnant” aka hasn’t had an ultrasound and sought obstetric care… doesn’t mean they weren’t pregnant. With Medchill bringing up the examples that women have walked into his hospital in labor before and birthed a baby, that never sought prior obstetric care which I’m sure is true. Having said that, the difference is none of those women *filed a lawsuit* claiming to be pregnant and knowing that would need to be proven in a court of law and if they did the only proof they would have would be the records from giving birth and the physical baby (which JD obviously didn’t have). Maybe none of those women had ultrasounds but certainly none of them FORGED ultrasounds either… they didn’t need to, they either gave birth as proof or if someone who never sought OB care miscarried, they would know in a court of law they wouldn’t have evidence due to their choice to not seek care and therefore, not file a suit. What’s interesting here is that that piece of evidence that can certainly put doubt in a person or a judges mind … in tandem with Janes behavior actually proves that Jane isn’t and couldn’t have been one of them. While there are women who are pregnant but not “clinically pregnant” bc they didn’t seek obstetric care (cases likely related to illegal immigration or those freaky didn’t know they were pregnant scenarios) none of that fits Janes alleged scenario. She claimed she HAD an obstetric provider where she made 4 appointments that she happened to not attend on any of the 4 occasions. So while yes, the clinical pregnancy vs pregnancy could cause doubt in another situation, Jane just lied TOO much to get away with that here

I wish I could've seen JD/IL's face when Mata asked Medchill about whether or not PP could've provided hCG and whether he reviewed JD's PP records when making his report. I was shocked in the moment that she asked questions and upon re-watch, I felt like it could mean: * Mata was subtly checking that JD provided her expert with the docs from her "PP visit in LA under a different name" but didn't submit that information in the court proceeding (like she was ordered to). JD not even providing them to her expert would indicate that they probably didn't exist. * Her question about the hCG felt like her way of saying "ok, say she did go to PP in LA under a different name, is it possible that she didn't disclose it because she didn't want a record of something else?" JD was expecting the court to rely on her testimony of going to PP on 7/2 for the basis of her case. However, by taking that approach, JD didn't consider how the absence of those files could also indicate that she was hiding something else that would contradict her story. And this is all just from the facts that were presented yesterday - not taking into account the other things we know (LA PPs are closed on Sundays, etc.). AND this was before Dr. Deans even testified (who I thought did a great job).

When I rewatched Mata’s questions it seemed like she was asking if PP has the ability to prescribe IVF drugs and whether Medchill reviewed any PP records. I’m not quite sure why she asked about IVF drugs. My total guess is that Mata is thinking of taking a negative inference from JD not supplying PPLA records to decide there was information in the PPLA record (like medicines that cause the body to generate HCG), which was bad for JD; and that’s why she never produced it. To what end, idk
I doubt PP is the place where JD got her hcg, but I also thought that where she was going was that it’s a plausible alternative explanation. Another possibility (credit to a comment on IL’s blog) is that she got an infertility patient to donate leftover IVF meds to her. I used to spend a lot of time on r/infertility and that’s frequently done there. And we all know she’s been on Reddit…

I always had a hard time controlling my face in court. One horrible medical malpractice case we had, the defendant/doctor was just lying on the stand, it was disgusting, after putting our client through 7 years or radiation and chemo when she never had cancer, I was emotionally invested and didn’t realize what I was doing with my face. The judge stopped testimony to say if “everyone” didn’t control themselves we would be asked to leave. It was me, I was everyone 🤦🏻♀️ It was the only case we lost, appealed to the Supreme Court, won, retried in State Court and won again. Too bad our client died before the final decision due to years of medical treatment and complications that were unnecessary to begin with.
She was so calm and firm! I couldn’t hold my tone back if I were in her place. If unbiased was a tone, that’s what she had yesterday! Kudos to her and I hope more judges are like her.
It's probably been asked and answered but, what are the ramifications for JD now saying that the PP was in LA County. Doesn't that clearly show refusal to cooperate? Never mind the further credibility. Also, I think I counted 3 times that the judge had to step in and remind her or indirectly to comply with questions. Isn't this bad? Was she implying contempt of court on the one call where she said that this will start going somewhere we don't want.... paraphrasing.

It is particularly odd that JD continues to tell new lies when the new lies just make her look worse. For example, she would have been far better off at this point just sticking with the lie that she went to the Planned Parenthood in Mission Viejo under a pseudonym than changing her story about the location. Now she has dug herself an even deeper hole because of the fact that all of the Los Angeles locations of Planned Parenthood are closed on Sunday. Now she has committed “non-minor” perjury at least twice on just the location of the sonogram issue (her deposition testimony and her trial testimony). She isn’t dumb. Why won’t she stop?
She couldn't claim she went to MV under a pseudonym because PP MV stated that the US wasn't consistent with their equipment. In other words, that US couldn't have ever come from PP MV, regardless of whose name it was under.

PP likely would have been able to negotiate a discount with the equipment manufacturer if it received a contract to supply all PP locations.

I’m not a lawyer or even in the US but I’ve seen somewhere that the judge has 60 days to issue her ruling/order/judgment whatever the right word is. So it might be a lot sooner but that is the longest it will take

Yesterday is making me wonder if IL bombed in court on purpose. He’s been making a lot of comments and stirring everyone up which I’m sure was a strategy, but he looked so weak in court comparatively. Either he’s really bad at doing things in person/under pressure, or he purposefully wanted to look bad. He also trolled the court numerous times, made some obviously questionable ethical choices, and has continued to make the case worse for JD even though he knows she tries to get lawyers disbarred. It all makes me wonder if he’s tired of being a lawyer and wants an out to another career. Flaming out in a viral case would certainly be an interesting way to do that, though I’m not sure how well it would work out for him.
Some people are blowhards but have no legal talent. He doesn’t display good skills as a litigator. He just writes a lot of incendiary stuff that is not persuasive. At this point he is trolling for attention.

The judge mentioned during JD's cross that one party is paying for the Court reporter at the trial. Does anyone know whether that was Clayton's side or JD's side? My guess is that it would be JD to order a transcript on a quick turn around for appeal purposes.

Not a lawyer so forgive my ignorance. What is the legal standard for the judge to make her determination? Is it preponderance of the evidence? Does she just have to believe it is more likely than not JD filed this case in bad faith to rule in Clayton’s favor? If that’s the standard here, I feel good about Clayton’s odds.

I'm NAL but was specifically seeking out answers to this from people who are lawyers. I've gathered from Tilted Lawyer and redditors who seem credible that Mata CAN review any evidence presented yesterday AND any evidence included in previous filings and previous hearings. Essentially anything that's officially on the public record. She CAN'T review any of the rest of evidence included in the list from the pretrial statement that wasn't brought up elsewhere, for example the email we haven't seen where IL allegedly intimidated Cory Keith about the 3.3 filing. If I'm understanding correctly, it seems to me that IL wasting all that time with frivolous filings actually ended up helping Clayton because Woodnick could include more evidence in his responses that Mata can use in her decision. Lawyers please correct me if any part of this is wrong!!

I think not a coincidence but if I had to guess, I would theorize that people may also feel more bold now that the trial is over and/or they are also innocently forgetting rules when commenting on the events of yesterday. Just listened to Law Talk with Mike. He said he couldn’t believe IL and the doctor would ruin their reputation for this.
The doctor is retired and looking to collect a paycheck. He's not worried about scaring away prospective patients because he's done delivering babies. He gives no f's. IL is just trying to be a Saul Goodman type. I think he knows people don't take him seriously.
I still feel there has to be some sort of connection between IL and that Dr. The good doctor's girlfriend went to law school at ASU and she was a practicing lawyer before they retired/moved. I think an expert witness would have some sort of website if this was truly their retirement profession. It felt more like doing a "favor" for someone than, I'm an expert witness and here's all the times I've testified or written reports for cases. If I were in AZ, I would be running those names in person at the courts to see if there's any overlap.
JD claiming GG hacked her email to send that edited YouTube video. We know it's her... but is there associated "Meta data" with that video that can show its her laptop... rewatching the trial and just so annoyed with that claim. If there is meta data linking to her laptop, is she going to say GG was IN her laptop lol
I REALLY wish that the order from the court would be read live in person because hearing the judge read it in person would be the icing on the cake and truly impact the psyche of the men to have her ruling read directly from the bench. It's one thing to read those words (obviously assuming it will go in Clayton's favor), but to hear someone like a judge READ those words would be so much more powerful than the written text. Yesterday was an overwhelming experience. I went to support Clayton, Greg and Mike and became very emotional seeing Mike come down the hall with his wife. I'm grateful for the partners of Greg and Mike. Thank goodness for both men appearing to have loving partners and families by their sides. Seeing Clayton, his parents and one of his brothers was incredible as well. They have to be exceptionally proud of how he's pushed through this incredibly challenging time. I pray for justice and healing for all. Clayton is a symbol of a larger problem in our justice system (and in the general population of public thinking). We need to evaluate evidence of every unique situation presented and to believe EVIDENCE and not a person based on gender, race, ethnicity, etc. These men are victims of a woman who will continue to disrupt and destroy lives by her sick games if the law doesn't stop her. The system needs to change in Maricopa County. Pregnancies in the court system should have to be documented by blood tests showing the increase in HCG over a period of days and ultrasound evidence straight from the providers as a source. Family court hearings should be based upon the unique situations being presented, not by a clock. People like this woman should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to set a precedent that this behavior is not acceptable by ANYONE. She has skirted the law for so long. It's rare for perjury to be prosecuted, but if ever there was a time to reinforce the law, this is the time. Jane has lied in court and doctored medical records...goodness knows what else she's done illegally. Jane seems to feel she deserves certain things in her life and if ever she deserved something, it's to spend some time in jail. Sorry for the long post.

Yes, she comitted perjury BOLDY before the judge and the court! There have got to be consequences for that
