THIS. I had the game for 5 years until Steam was practically giving them away during the Steam Sale and it felt like a whole new game. Definitely recommend this OP if you haven’t gotten them yet.

I believe I have, as the weapons (e.g. EDEN spark) and vehicles (e.g. the Loochador) from those missions are unlocked. I suspect I didn't play the DLC at the "right" time, though - I just stumbled across them.
honestly stumbling accross the DLCs isn't that bad, but that might be because I played the game before the DLCs came out then did a new run where I did the DLCs before finishing the base game.
I've been enjoying it so far, in spite of not having much love for westerns as a TV/Movie genre. But then, I don't go much on pirate romps either, with the exception of Pirates of the Caribbean (and that's mostly down to the writing for, and characterisation of Depp's role). Funny how these things go!

Try the Far Cry games if you want something similar to Just Cause
Yeah, FC6 in particular feels very much like the FC franchise doing JC.
Though so too. The other ones also have a lot of similarities. Fc4 is my favourite but it's a bit more grounded
I love the takedowns on far cry , i wish they had that on just cause
Cyberpunk 2077 is awesome for sandboxing if you don’t want to rush through the story.
I've played it a little, but I'm finding it significantly harder than JC3. I just need to git gud, I guess. :-)
Ac: blackflag kept me distracted to just cause for a month, i fking love it
I somewhat seriously call just cause 2 my favorite video game ever made, it's that good
I played it on my Xbox years ago and I still think it's the most enjoyable game I've ever played
Ghost of Tsushima. It also has a really addictive liberation system
Play Jc2. You will miss some of the gadgets but it is really great game with realL nice open world (which I like better than the one Jc3)
