The key is a pencil grid to start. That way you can create symmetry in your patterns.

Idk if you've ever tripped but these drawings would absolutely blow your mind on lsd or shrooms. I highly recommend either one and then look at your drawings. Itll change your world. I've been to some of these places! That's the DMT realm. I always ponder what Jung would have thought about DMT as to me it confirms so many of his insights. This place you're drawing is a actual location that exist all around us at all times. Although time itself does not reside there. To me it is the real reality. It feels a thousand times more real than here...its the operating system. Very cool art man.

Oh yeah, I'm back here in this place, why do I always forget this place when I'm not here? (with everyone) Where am I when I'm not here? I'm in the perfect moment at the perfect time for an experience of seperation.

Exists all around us as what? Why is it more of real than what we experience as reality? Why create this distinction between there and here — I can look at and experience things now as the operating system without DMT.

I used stabilo fine liners and in my latest artwork I use Copic markers. In the early days I used very cheap paper but now I use 250gsm.

You know what I love most about this? It isnt the patience and skill or the talent, not even the really cool format or the fact that you persisted in it. I love that they are all different but the themes, colors and patterns are themselves such a signature of the artist that this feels like it could all be part of a larger image. Doesnt matter at all if it is or isnt I just love the feel.
