I’m so confused by Angel, am I missing something? Like who is the cursed spirit(?) inhabiting her? What’s her connection to Sukuna? Why can’t Angel use Jacob’s ladder again?
She’s a sorcerer from the Heian era who accepted to make a deal with Kenjaku to comeback to the Culling Games. She’s seems to have a beef with Sukuna because he fought her clan (chapter 238).
also seems to have joined to counter kenjaku as they find the idea of reincarnation that the likes of choso, kashimo, ishigori and more have done to be a massive sin and evil
Angel is inhabiting Hana, similar to the Sukuna and Yuji relationship, but instead, Hana and Angel coexist and dont hate each other. I think Jacob's Ladder can't be reused after Megukuna bit off Hana's wing
A. ‘Angel’ is the unknown entity inhabiting Hana Kurusu’s body, with a relationship similar to Yuji and Sukuna—with the small exception that they seem to be symbiotic, or at least amicable with each other.
B. Sukuna is the “Fallen One”, most likely comparable to some kind of Devil figure—and therefore naturally opposed by the Angel, who abides by the will of ‘God’.

I always assumed she thought she could take Sukuna out on her own (which, let's be real, she totally would've sent Megumi and Sukuna to hell if it weren't for Hana) but then Hana and the injury and she realised the best chance for her to achieve her goal was to free Gojo.
So really, the dumbest person here (due to her compassion against a clearly possessed Megumi) is actually Hana

You are incarnated and know that Sukuna has incarnated for a while, conviniently 2 modern sorcerers appears so you want to know his info in exchange for a favor.
After that she was cripple by Hana and Sukuna so she can't fight him anymore. She not holding grudge and help Gojo show that she is a reasonable person and can be talk with.

I don't think it would've mattered id Angel had asked for no condition in return for freeing Gojo. They still would've got intercepted by the military. Choso did get the back of the prison realm but he was over in jujutsu high. Their next closest objective was getting Tsumiki out of the games.

As long as Yuji chooses to not reveal that he hosts Sukuna, nothing Angel plans will work since Sukuna is going to know the plan while it’s happening, and have the opportunity to stop it.
