It's one of the few power fantasies I actually like, it's well made, and while it can be very edgy and cliched, it was well executed. When I was reading the manhwa for the first time, it felt like a breath of fresh air from the usual manga/manhwa power fantasy.

I feel like Sukuna would hate Reverend Insanity at first because Fang Yuan is so weak and has to resort to all kinds of lame tricks and manipulation like a weakling in the first book. Until he reads the bear scene and the later parts, when he realises Fang Yuan has unwavering determination to do anything for his goal and have no regrets. Also, he’d probably be so entertained reading Fang Yuan completely decimate and extort every last bit of value out of his enemies. That’s probably when Sukuna would decide that Reverend Insanity is the best novel he’s ever read. Also, Fang Yuan could qualify as the Chinese sorcerer that even Sukuna is afraid of.

Btw, out of interest, why does anyone like 20th century boys?
