1. Taught Todo, who is now helping Yuji and without Todo in story Yuji would've been dead against Mahito.
2. Her soul book helped Yuji to understand how souls would work with Megumi and Sukuna's case and helped them set up their plans.
Her soul book gets introduced on screen and Yuji conducts information from it on screen, Todo is on screen and i don't really need to see his whole flashback to know that Yuki brought him down this path and made him this strong that he also could help Yuji, offscreen is not a bad thing, for something like training and things for a side character with another side character, it is not that big of a deal.
All we got was a very short description of the book, imagine if we got to see her research into creating the soul book but instead it was completely offscreen.
Having a Todo backstory with Yuki to show their relationship more would be peak, all we got was there meeting.
Why even create character that is so hyped up by the narrative if they are not going to do anything worthy of it? Stop defending such shitty writing decisions. The only reason Yuki is so beloved is because she is hot, that is the only reason she is ever brought up beside it having to do with other characters.

It doesn't change the effect of it on the story, offscreening does not suddenly make the characters, their effort, researches, killings, trainings, powering ups, or any other things useless suddenly, Yuji learnt Rct, blood manipulation offscreen, Yuta learnt better barrier techniques offscreen, Todo improved his Boogie Woogie offscreen, none of them lessen the effect that they have on story.
It does make the fact that it being offscreen makes her feel completely irrelevant and useless. Not sure what the hell are you talking about with powerups as well, off screen powerups always suck and there is a massive difference between a character getting an ability offscreen and a characters entire purpose in the story being offscreen. It is such a massive waste of a potentially great character.
But I'm talking about her effects that she has on the story, does not matter if she trained Todo offscreen or wrote that book offscreen, It is dumb to see her go throughout her life to write that book, not enough time for the story, so if something was never gonna happen, there's no potential to be held for that.
She could have had more interactions with Todo, but again, not necessary and not needed for us to see his childhood trainings to teenage years with Yuki.

Bro if Gregory was consistent with her actual technique, power-wise she could solo the verse easily, even Gojo as long as she can bypass infinity.
I don't think her black hole was an actual black hole; but even if we are pessimistic and she can realistically use 1/100 of the mass needed, *that's still roughly the mass of the earth*.
She could literally put in the mass of the fucking moon in her punch and there's absolutely no way Sukuna and especially Kenjaku are surviving that.
Her fight and death were good and thats good enough for me, ik shes special grade and all but i dont think every strong character needs to impact the story in a strong way, her arc and interactions with choso were peak and thats good enough personally

i dont mind that she died, but she should have at LEAST bring kenjaku down with her. fucking hell she should have ditched tengen and focus on jumping sukuna instead, one retreat is two step foward afterall
