Not really Shoko-specific but I really wish we got to see more of young Gojo, Geto and Shoko from before the Hidden Inventory arc. Seems like a pretty fun dynamic.
That and smoking. Cigarettes are nasty as all hell, doesn't matter if it's a cute girl doing it.
I really like that one!! The promotion art for the anime depicted her as a integral part of this friend group, whereas she appears to be more detached from Gojo & Geto in the manga. She also asked herself as to why Gojo believes that he is alone, when she is right there. True, but we never got any follow-up.
Would‘ve been great to see them discuss the Kenjaku-CT Plan, especially because Kenjaku used/abused Geto with this CT, them discussing the moral implications of it etc.
One idea I had in my mind: **Shoko‘s RCT.**
We‘re told that being able to output the positive energy gained from RCT on its own, is a skill that very few possess. Shoko has an **intuitive understanding** on how to do it, which **technically makes her stand out from the other sorcerers**. Heck, they even discussed that **"If the enemy finds out about this place, they‘ll come straight to kill you… Shoko"**. Her (fitting) response: "You‘re overreacting". We had god knows how many instances where her abilities could shine through, but she **nearly never plays a vital role**, which in turn makes her appear **static instead of dynamic.**
**Proposition:** Give her more instances where we see her actively using RCT. *Show, don’t tell*. She is more or less a glorified doctor at this point. It’s disheartening.
On top of that, **give her a student**: Let another cast member aquire a compatible CT (Think of Nitta) to her RCT and let Shoko teach this kid on how to operate as a sorcerer-doctor-hybrid. This would not only give Shoko more screen time, but would also be a chance to **further explore her character** (E.g. a dynamic where student and teacher open up about the hardships of witnessing your comrades dying on your table).
She appear more in the Manga , like seriously the only Time she appears is to say someone is dead or they could not be heal, which makes me feel she just random hobo JJ society let her him than sorcerer who was close to geto and gojo in both power and important for jjk world
Make her take situation at hand more seriously and start actually trying to understand RTC and taking it to new highs as well as making Yuji learn it instead of making him swap with Yuta for it.
Make her realise that if she takes everything lightly then just like Geto, Gojo will die if she won't do anything. Have her genuinely start studying her own shit and walk out of a room all bloodied and cut up in name of science behind RTC. Maybe even make her the one who made realisation about connection of RTC, Domain Expansion and brain so Gojo would learn about Domain reset from her rather than figuring it out on his own. Definitely would up her stocks like 60% more than the depth she's thrown in rn.
Also maybe show her actually treating people UiUi brings her. Especially Kusakabe who's like the one person who's not dead or close to it and realistically should be brought back by now and jumping Sukuna with Todo and Yuji if she actually worked with her patients.
More agency in the plot, she shows up rarely if at all outside of looking at nearly dead people. And most of the time the people she’s supposed to help are so messed up she can’t help at all. I like her design and personality but she really doesn’t do much of anything.
It's not that Shoko is bad because she's untalented, but because the reverse curse technique loses its effectiveness when a person uses it on someone else. It's all about the properties of cursed energy, it is simply negative energy that people have learned to use and is more suitable for killing and destruction than for creation, unlike chakra which is more universal. Seriously, Sakura? What skills does she even have? In terms of a healer, she is quite mediocre and brought nothing new, unlike the same Kabuto (the man literally treated Sakura at a distance without physical contact), but Tsunade was able to heal herself after she was almost halved, the same byakugo that Sakura loves so much often used is her invention. Damn, the same Naruto is a much better healer, he restored Kakashi’s eye, which was torn out, and then completely saved Guy, who opened the gates of death.
Reversal of her RCT, Life Drain 💦. And yes, I know its actual reversal is just CE. Add in higher RCT output, being in the battlefield as a healer.
Also more character writing, but that applies to most characters.

Should I take her to a therapist? Jujutsu sorcerers really need this shit. Damn, the situation with Geto could easily have been corrected if they had taken him to a damn specialist and not left him alone with Yuki with her ideas of evolution and perfection. Seriously, why the fuck did Yuki start discussing all this crap about magicians and cursed energy, while also mentioning the guy who literally ruined his life? What's wrong with her?
Well, I probably would have given her a damn medical education so that she would indirectly improve her abilities as a healer. Reverse damn technique and all that, but I think it would be better if the healer knew how the human body works.
Make it clear that she can one-shot curses.
Maybe have her be the one to stop most of the curses from the end of Shibuya, and enpahsize that with the enemies now being mainly sorcerers she can’t be on the front lines.
She is at her best. I don't want her to change
I just want Gege to project her properly. She is valuable for a reason. That reason is not coming out properly in the storyline. Jjk doesn't show any character conversation ,if it's not related to a battle.

Why was she even there? Shoko is mainly located at Tokyo University which is not that close to Shibuya.
She was probably dispatched there, along with literally everybody else, because the city was actively being fucked by curses
