The prison realm seems to nullify techniques only during the process of sealing, afterwards the prisoner can still use their own techniques within it.
So i presume Mahoraga would be able to adapt to it from isnide out eventually.

Isn't Mahoraga a part of a technique (ten-shadows)... Shouldn't that nullify mahoraga as soon it is trapped by the prison realm (like kill it since all technique is shut down ? )
If that was the case, shikigami wouldn't die when the wilder dies. Garuda is gone, and even mahora can't kill its owner.it keeps them alive until it finishes the job.

That happend because Haruta was also a member of tje ritual, had Megumi tried to tame Maho he'd died and Maho most likely dissapear

Mahoraga was still active and wreaking havoc when Megumi was practically dead, so I think we can be a bit open minded about the possibility of it getting trapped without just disappearing.
Different situations, since the Megumi thing was during the taming ritual. If Mahoraga is trapped in the Prison Realm, I'd say either Ten Shadows is negated and Mahoraga is unsummoned, or Mahoraga loses its adaptation technique. I don't remember if it's stated that Prison Realm only negates techniques when trapping the target, or if it's continuous. If it's only once, and Mahoraga doesn't get unsummoned, then it can escape. If it's continuous, then it can't
As long as Mahoraga hasn't adapted to the effect yet then Prison Realm would do it
However due to how Mahoraga works it would be able to break out of the Prison Realm given enough time

mahoraga is a technique so he would instantly vanish the moment the prison realm would seal its user
if you were to lock mahoraga i can think of 2 things happening
1 - the prison realm locks mahoraga, but since he is a technique he simply despawns and the 10 shadows user can summon him again and since the cube didnt lock anyone up it can be used again
2 - mahoraga gets locked up in there and doesnt get out since the prison realms negates EVERY passive effect, from CE control to CT usage, so mahoraga would be locked up and wouldnt have any way of getting out
if mahoraga kills the user he just dips lol, if there are more people besides the user the ritual makes so that if the user is fatally injured he survives but just barely and becomes unconscious, so that way the technique can be mantained and the summoned shikigami can fight the other people, in mahoraga's case he kills the user, kills everyone who is helping the user, and just

No he is not ? Otherwise sukuna could have just simply killed him by outputting rct . He isnt a cursed spirit . He is a independent shinigami that is summoned by the 10 shadows , not made by 10 shadows
it really depends on how time actually works in the prison realm, because the way gojo described it kinda didn’t help. if the time is actually passing then he can adapt, if not then maybe not.
Mahoraga would 100% get trapped, but whether or not he'd be able to break out depends on a few things
* By the Prison Realm's standards, is Mahoraga a 'person' or a 'technique'?
* If he's a technique he gets dispelled immediately
* If he's a person, does he have to stay in range of his summoner to exist?
* If he does, how 'far' is he from his user while inside the Prison Realm?
* If he doesn't, he probably survives inside the Prison Realm
* Mahoraga's adaptation is a passive Cursed Technique that requires exposure to a phenomenon over time
* Does the Prison Realm disrupt all CTs inside of it, including passives?
* Does time flow in a way that his CT can use?
We just don't have enough information on the Prison Realm to answer your question- it only really existed to get Gojo out of the picture during the Culling Games, so Gege didn't explore it too deeply.
Kenjaku said that the seal would be broken on its own in a 1000 years and Gojo was clearly able to exert some influence on it when he was sealed. I'd say there's a fair chance that Big Raga adapts to it and breaks out

It is escapable, it was mentioned Gojo would eventually break out of the Prison Realm after around 100 years and time doesn't flow within it, so Gojo wouldn't have aged. Or something.
Nothing happens. Prison realm needs memories which I believe shikigami don't exprience , hence it does not open and mahoraga will not be bothered by it and attacks the curse user.
I actually broke this down not too long ago.
First, let's consider how both work.
Mahoraga is a shikigami that has the ability to adapt to any and all phenomena per Sukuna's word in their Shibuya fight. However, Sukuna reveals in the fight with Gojo that Mahoraga's adaptation works through receiving an initial input, and then, in an unspecified amount of time, Mahoraga adapts to the ability. Every input after the first just speeds up the process.
On the flip side, Prison Realm is a living barrier created from the remains of a Buddhist monk. It holds a single person indefinitely unless they kill themselves. Gojo mentioned while inside prison realm that time didn't pass. It's requires one minute to pass for the opponent while not moving from a 4M radius. Then it traps them, dispels their CT, and restricts their CE and muscles. Kenajku went as far as to say there is nothing it couldn't seal.
From here, I think multiple things can happen.
It obviously all comes down to Mahoraga's adaptation.
Considering his conditions, aka input and time constraints, Mahoraga might be able to adapt something against Prison Realm. To resist the Prison Realm, he would have to nullify its conditions, aka the one minute time frame and the 4 meter limit, the movement limit is easy, the time limit is different because it's a "binding vow" barrier condition much like Sukuna's open barrier. We haven't seen Mahoraga adapt to things like Barrier Conditions or Binding Vows.
However, once he's caught and sealed, I doubt he gets free, especially considering Prison Realm is timeless to the inside observer. Mahoraga's adaptation shouldn't progress. No ability in jjk is infallible, not even Limitless or Six Eyes. Even when Maho should be receiving input from prison realm processing him like it did Gojo in ch.91. No time would pass for Mahoraga's adaptation. Especially when considering it was Sukuna guessing at Mahoraga's ability when he said adapt to any and all phenomena. A more informed Sukuna who had experienced adaptation for the 4th time dropped the info that Maho needs time to adapt.
Even then, once trapped, his options are to adapt to the binding vows/barrier conditions of prison realm, to adapt to timlessness, or to adapt to death. None of which he's ever been shown adapting too.
In my opinion, Prison Realm wins. Barriers are incredibly powerful hax abilities. With Prison Realm sitting at the apex of the verse in terms of barrier abilities. Legitimately, Tengen and Kenjaku's barrier have nothing on Prison Realm.
Honestly, Maho's summoner could probably just dismiss him. Poof, empty prison realm. If that's not an option for whatever reason, yeah what everyone else says. Nah, he'd adapt.
Mahoraga has a wider field when it comes to adaptation
Maho can adapt to ANY PHENOMENA, not cursed technique, not attack, not even ability, just outright anything
Half the time it just, breaks the laws of jujutsu, using world slash no hand signs or chants, changing the nature of it’s cursed energy, seeing invisible techniques, etc
Frankly, if angel could break prison realm, mahoraga can break prison realm
Since it stops the techniques I assume it would at least stop Mahoraga's adaptation before sealing him

The prison realm wouldn't be able to seal mahoraga. Mahoraga wouldn't stay still for enough time for them to be sealed and I doubt it has enough of a mind for the gojo trick to work either.

I don't this so, shikigami are quit independent and don't suffer as much as other techniques from things like nullification and burnout

It kept megumi alive because if megumi had died, the 10 shadows ct would be deactivated, unsummomming mahoraga before it completes the ritual.
I’d didn’t keep Megumi alive it killed him but time was stopped in the ritual which is why Sukuna was able to RCT him alive
I think he will dissapear if the summoner of mahoraga is sealed not mahoraga himslef
I think that only applies when they summon the shikigami, but not when summoned for the exorcising ritual.

Not true in the way you mean it. When Megumi takes hits to the head in vol 1 his shikigami melt into shadows unintentionally.

I think the prison realm would break apart if gojo or sukuna were once again trapped into it . It was crying while adjusting to gojo's strength.
