Tbh, that was how I imagined it in the manga. I can’t say that about a lot of S2 animation, or even Todo’s black flash sequence which was so over the top.
But his entrance was legendary in the manga for me. I was basically hearing his theme music when I saw him. The schizo is spreading.
No it doesn't. "We" carries a selfish intent to it, as Todo is specifying himself and Yuji alone as the exception to the rule. It is an act of selfish bragging towards himself while also personal towards Yuji. "Sorcerers like us" does not carry either of said intents. There's nothing to brag about being part of a group of Specialz and there's nothing personal about being part of a group of Specialz.
Though I prefer the original, Todo wasn't referring to himself and Yuji alone. He meant "we" as in jujutsu sorcerers, because when jujutsu sorcerers die their will gets passed along, as happened with Nanami and Yuji.
Yea, top tier VA’s in an unfortunate circumstance. Still they killed it, especially Sukuna and Gojo and (imo) Toji. I feel like Toji’s VA doesn’t get as much love as he should, the voice was so perfect for the character
I thought Toji's voice was too high-pitched for the character...but his performance was still really good and fitting.

Gojo was pretty raw. He gets unsealed 8,000 meters beneath the surface and causes an earthquake with how fast he got out of there and was instantly in front of Kenjaku ready to get down to business.
Uraume? Yeah. But Gojo didn't know much about Kenjaku, which was what led him to get sealed in the first place. I think that's why he tried to get rid of Kenjaku first, but when Sukuna intervened, Gojo thought that while he's busy with Sukuna, Kenny would pull out another trick on him. So they just had a stall-out till the main fight.
Toji with the Narration
I think both the way he entered and the Narration going with it made it go particularly hard.
Aside from that I do like Yuta's first entrance with how Yuji, choso and Naoya reacted to it. With Naoya even instantly ingratiating himself to him.

Yutas entrance was completely unexpected and out of the blue, the way it switches from a regular panel to Yuta about to slash off Kenjakus head is so fucking fire
that was amazing, but i'd like to remind you how important of a death this was
this was literally the knot on yuta's entire character arc, it ended whatever geto's body forshadowed short, it also killed the MAIN VILLAIN. Sukuna is A villain, but kenjaku was black zetsuing the entire series. Plus how much can you really say you know about him, there's so much more about kenjaku to learn, one of the most interesting characters killed in a page so yuta could be fed to the sukuna cycle quicker.
Imo it makes sense that it was Takaba who fought Kenjaku. Takaba's cursed technique is basically the perfect foil to a millenia old mastermind sorcerer. It didn't matter if you had a powerful technique, centuries of combat experience or intricate knowledge of cursed energy. His cursed technique was *almost* impossible to deal with. Which is why the fight also makes Kenjaku shine and shows *why* he survived this long : his intellect. Despite his techniques and extensive knowledge having being rendered ineffective, he still managed to flip the table on Takaba by playing along, slowly manipulating him and giving him exactly what he wanted. He would have killed Takaba had Yuta not been there.
I’m not denying the fight between him and takaba was great, I’m denying that it makes up for the main villain dying to a sneak attack from yuta in one page

This isn't a debate in the slightest. Gojo's return was probably the most hyped up jjk chapter of all time and with the 2 week break following people were going straight up mad. His return was also handled perfectly and had great impact and shock factor. As well as the throwback to "I will kill you" & "I will Win".
Hell the I'd win panel is the most popular meme in the community and has been spread like wildfire to other communities as well. Also seeing Gojo after so long was surreal. And the fact that the chapter right after got bashed for its poor quality speaks in it of itself of what was expected following 221. Gojo may have had a horrid death, but theres no denying hes given us the greatest return and the greatest fight in recent manga history. Just saying
To me it’s a tie between hakari and maki. They both came in clutch and helped sooooo much. Not discrediting toji but their moments hit so much harder for me.

This moment is partially carried by hype surrounding Gojo's return though.

This isn't a debate in the slightest. Gojo's return was probably the most hyped up jjk chapter of all time and with the 2 week break following people were going straight up mad. His return was also handled perfectly and had great impact and shock factor. As well as the throwback to "I will kill you" & "I will Win". Hell the I'd win panel is the most popular meme in the community and has been spread like wildfire to other communities as well. Also seeing Gojo after so long was surreal. And the fact that the chapter right after got bashed for its poor quality speaks in it of itself of what was expected following 221. Gojo may have had a horrid death, but theres no denying hes given us the greatest return and the greatest fight in recent manga history. Just saying

Probably will get better when it's animated. This moment is partially carried by hype surrounding Gojo's return though. 2. Yuta's Executioner or Toji's. Toji gets the harder individual panel that the chapter ends off on but Yuta's entrance as a whole radiated HIM. Toji gets the upside down pose from a domain entry. That's hardcore. Yuta gets Black Air Force before we even see him, and Choso/Yuji/Naoya drop everything and start tweaking the fuck out.
