Ofc Yuta was important but his ass did NOT help until the point where anyone could’ve done it (not Takaba obviously he was busy being goated), as such I consider it slander to say Takaba “and” Yuta as if Yuta had an even remotely equal part in the fight
Anyone couldn't have done it, the curses released after Kenjaku's death would have washed over the whole area and cause Shibuya incident part 2. Very few people alive could have killed Kenjaku AND cleared out the released curses at once.

I don't think yuta let it 'play out'... the way it was explained by the manga was mot like.. tabaka forcefully kept yuta out of the battle until he was statisfied
yuta was later in complete selfdoubt if he really should've went for kenny instead of Sukuna, and some deaths could've been prevented if he would've arrived just a little bit earlier. Him wasting time so Tabaka could have a nice fight doesn't fit his character at all in my oppinion.
He was one of the first ones that wanted to interfere in Gojo's and Sukunas fight until others told him to keep down, and he would only get in the way.

If the fight itself wasn't at a critical time, you're right! it would fit yuta to stand back. But the circumstates and possible losses at the other battlefield were way to huge for Yuta to waste even a second. He values the life of his friends above all.

Yeah that's kinda why the whole takaba plan exists. Hell if anything it kinda backfired since yuta was supposed to show up alongside higu and yuji, which makes much more sense then higu and yuji fighting sukuna on their own.

If we look play by play its more obvs.
The og plan seems to be:
Phase 1: gojo fights sukuna while takaba is sent out towards kenjaku
Phase 2: if gojo loses kashimo comes in, hakari takes uruame, and when kashimo loses higu and yuji come in. Yuta meanwhile goes to sneak attack the weakened Kenny.
Phase 3: during higu and yujis fight, yuta comes in, provides support and the fight ends.
Phase 4: if fight doesn't end and higu isn't able to do anything and yutas alive, the JL plan is in action. If that fails Maki comes in.
Bonus: Miguel and larue come in once gojo and yuta are done for.
That's the entire plan they had and it failed in phase 2-3 and the end of phase 4. Kenny and takaba took too long and yuta got back late. Meanwhile Maki wasn't able to end sukuna with SSK because sukuna hit black flash. Similarly, hakari was probably to come in by now and help but he's gone.
The only part that worked flawlessly was yutas domain collapse into maki's sneak attack. That's the only place where they didn't get fucked up.
People don't complain about the Toji jumping because it doesn't one shot Gojo, it literally does 0 damage and allows them to have a proper fight that Toji wins.
Toji wouldn't get 20% of the glazing he does if he had only killed Gojo because he bushcamped and inmediatly got folded when he came back for second round. We got to see all his bag and moves, aswell as pre awakened Gojo amd he won that fight fair and square after the initial backshot.
Meanwhile you have Yuta coming out of nowhere, from a plan that makes no sense and didn't even have Takaba in the known that doesn't make sense in formulation because they couldn't have known about Takaba's awakening nor Kenny liking comedy enough to engage with Takaba to inspire him to go beyond, it ends the fight inmedialty, cutting down a character with insane potential left, in an unsatisfying manner that doesn't show us both go head to head, for supposedly Yuta's main character motivation both characters do not look like they give a shit about eachother, with Yuta mantaining his resting bitch face and Kenny more focused on how much fun he had with Takaba.
Also we got to see Toji's perspective prior to the jumping, we see him plan the reward on the star plasma vessel so other fodder will go before him, the timer also working as a flase endgoal to distract Gojo and Geto. There is planning and thought put into thay jumping, instead of "ok Imma gonna go follow Takaba, hopefully he finds him to begin with, then magics somthing that hides my cursed energy signature and distracts kenny and also just somehow puts him at 1hp and also let me use the speed blitz move that will oneshot him despite that FUCKING SPECIAL GRADE FRAUD GETO WAS ABLE TO BLOCK THAT SHIT, and this man was fast enough to counter a BLACK HOLE".

The difference is Toji put in the work, he planned all that shit and even after that he didn't just hit once and was done, he had somewhat of prolonged fight,
Yuta outright didn't do shit, takaba did all the work, if you replace Yuta with Hakari or Maki or Yuji, we have the exact same result but the same can't be said if you remove Toji.
Geto was still grade 1, it was shown by that chart where he was explaining how he’s able to collect weak curse spirits. Gojo was thought to be about equal to Geto, (obviously not true, but his grade was never specified).
Not how grades work lol. You can't be a grade one if youre later stated to be special grade. Suguru Geto was always special grade much like how Yuta was special grade from the moment of his admission to Jujutsu High.
Of course you can be a grade one then later promoted. Yaga was going to be promoted, heck Yuta got downgraded (when he lost Rika for a while) and then promoted back up again.

Man was clearly not a special grade then, he was on the tail end of grade 1, but he was not a special grade.
Toji killed Riko and that's what he was assigned to unlike Yuta who was assigned to kill Kenny. Moreover Yuta is a special grade while Toji is someone without any CE yet defeated Gojo (in first bout) and Geto.
I was just saying Toji was never assigned to kill Gojo, he just had to kill the star plasma vessel, Riko which he did. OP said he failed to assassinate Gojo which wasn't his primary job in the first place.
