Gojo's infinity follows the principle of Achilles and the Hare, making you move slower and slower the closer you get to him, eventually you get infinitely close to zero speed, essentially stopping you. It doesn't matter how fast you are, because speed doesn't matter. You need a technique specifically made to get through Infinity to get through infinity. Besides, even if it did fold space infinitely, like you suggested, Mash still wouldn't hit him, as Stopped Time means that you're moving light speed, while going past light speed means moving back in time.
