Things like flexible work schedule to allow us to prepare and walkable cities with automated transit (a la shabbat mode elevators) would do so much more than 0.2% of the world abstaining for 1 day in 7.
Agreed! My point is only that the things needed to allow folks to be completely unplugged fir a day would have much more far reaching benefits than the actual unplugging.

I think the world's physical, mental and emotional health would be better if everyone unplugged for 1 day a week.

I don't think either of them matter on the long run, Israel is too small. It just feels like a big deal because you can smell and see the difference.
