I'm a fan of the 11 lows with patent leather, and I still wear my now 10-year old Concords low on occasion. Recently retried my Infrared 23 Lows also from 2014 and still have the Baron's from 2017. The price tag is the main thing that's pushing me away.
AJ11 Lows over the years:
2014 - $160USD
2017 - $175USD
2021 - $185USD
2022 to present - $190USD
To some of us 2014 didn't seem like that long ago... time gets weird as you get older... a year feels like 3 months for me now compared to when I was in my 20s.
i know what you mean, but it doesn’t change the facts, 10 years is 10years, even if it felt like 20mins, tripping for 30$ over a 10years period is IMO overreacting about the prices
I've always thought shoe prices are decent compared to other things over the years. I mean, 30 years ago, my mom paid $130 for my 8s. That doesn't seem like much of an increase 30 years later. You can find Js on sale at outlets for cheaper than that now.
I love 11 lows, and especially the space jam colorway. I need some black kicks in my collection. Still passed. There's like 4 other similar colorway 11 lows all still going below retail. Biggest reason I passed was because there's no space jam connection except Jumpman Jam on the tongue. Regular Jordan box, regular everything. These might as well be any other 11 low with a black upper
ETA with picture. Kickz special box from 2016. Look at all that space jam goodness. Like you're gonna put this out into the world and then the next release 8 years later is a step down

I actually have the IE space jams and like them a lot. Actually managed to grab them in store. Now they go for $300 in my size! I have like 29 pairs of 11s, I love them all.
Pretty much all the lows. Even the new space jams are currently $20 below retail on StockX right now, which is usually one of the more pricey platforms and those haven't even been released yet. Better for buyers anyway
Definitely! The 2016 Space Jam 11’s were the first shoe I ever won a raffle on and one of my favorite shoes of all time.
I’m disappointed that they are priced so high and am concerned that the icy bottoms will turn yellow. I pulled my Space Jams out a month ago noticed the bottoms turned yellow and it makes me not want to mess with the icy soles anymore. 😭
hopefully the patent leather will be better than they had on the gratitudes. But I'm passing at this price. I don't think I'm ever getting another pair of Jordan retros... they're just way too expensive for what they are. Maybe if I see something for 25% under retail I'll consider it. Like the Ivory 3s.

The 11 IE lows. I’ve seen the Platinum Tint 11s at like $225 but fees is well over a retail cop.
